Said this on the QT, but I'll say it again here: hopefully one of the few bright spots that can come out of this game is that people need to throw the formulaic plays out the window. Believing an un-cc'ed cop claim, no matter what, is just poor play. There was more than enough reason to distrust Verb's claim, it was sketchy as all get out. Yet a few of the townies who voted me voted because I left my vote on Verbal too long. /lesigh.

You are either lying or are completely biased and so are not seeing reason right now.

 

Mafia had +1 going in their favor, 24 hr days (with 24 hr nights too so you couldn't really miss a NK), no cop, only one town role that was useful at a time, and 5-12 numbers, which us close to 1/3 ratio.

 

Town had absolutely no chance in this game.

You are either lying or are completely biased and so are not seeing reason right now.

 

Mafia had +1 going in their favor, 24 hr days (with 24 hr nights too so you couldn't really miss a NK), no cop, only one town role that was useful at a time, and 5-12 numbers, which us close to 1/3 ratio.

By the way, for those of you who were town and may have felt slighted. I felt really bad for you guys. I said this more than once the choices that got voted were the perfect storm of bad for the town and losing a vanilla before the game even started was rough. I was rooting for you guys but I hope you can all understand not wanting to change something so fundamental about this game after it had started. The whole game was based around the voting gimmick. Some of my options were bad but I couldn't just game the system and change them mid game. That's as wrong as giving people you like the power roles every game or something. Would be a real breach of ethics I feel. So again I'm sorry you guys had such a tough game and I hope those of you who are interested will still show up to play in the next one. The next one will be NOTHING like this one. No majority +1 to lynch, no 24 hour deadlines. It'll be closer to a normal game you guys are used to.

The thing that sucks is that mafia didn't even play a great game either, not by a long shot. Every one of you was strongly suspected of being at scum most of the game, and you bet it all on every lynch, siding with each other at every opportunity.

 

Town didn't play great either (including me), but please don't gloat in this victory mafia.

Well call me biased as well but I do not agree with this statement. Town had it rough but I don't believe for one second they had no chance to win an am a bit insulted by the implication. It may have been a mafia sided setup due to the variables but saying Town had no chance at all is pure exaggeration. Verbal and Yates were in the hot seat multiple times and came very close to being lynched. Cloud had also been spotted by GF and a couple others more than once as well. Town was always a minute late and a dollar short but they came close to wiping out the entire mafia team right away.

Don't feel bad mate.  You ran an awesome setup.  What this means is that sometime in the near future a KH game will come along and mafia is going to get effed up.  Everything balances!
