Tidus woke up with a gasp and a thump. He'd been asleep and fallen out of his bed. Annoyed he stood up and went to the window to check on the storm. He'd been having a dream, a grand fantasy of adventure in a world terrorized by a monstrosity that couldn't be killed. But it was over now, he'd woken up. He pulled his curtains to the side and looked out his window and saw...nothing. No houses, no people, no land. It was a void, a darkness. The house shook and he shouted for his parents, running for their room. They weren't inside and the door to the house was open wide. In the front of his house the world was normal up to a point but he could see in the distance the land was...disintegrating, evaporating, disappearing. He was alone and this was the end of the world. He wasn't afraid though. The earth shook again as he walked back to his bed and laid down again. He closed his eyes and went back to his fantasy. The final fantasy.

Yates, Verbal, and Cloud, Heartless Shadows, and the deceased DPR, Darkside,  have corrupted the Destiny Islands and consumed the world and it's people.

Before you all head to the Mafia QT and the dead thread I'd just like to say that I had a really great time modding this game. Most of you performed excellently and I was extremely happy with the activity you all put in. I admit I came into the 24 hour deadline thing expecting the worst but you guys definitely rose to the challenge. Thank you. That said, there was some drama behind the scenes between me and Des and me and Mish. Obviously unrelated to each other. I just want to say that Verbal is aware of both instances of drama and it's been handled. Please don't end the game on a sour note by bashing either of them. Of course you are free to critique their play in the game but I'd appreciate it if you did it in such a way that it doesn't potentially cause more drama. Use your best judgment.

 

As for the game, well the info for the setup is there at the beginning of the dead thread and some explanation on why things were chosen can be found near the end.

It was mostly an experiment with what I thought were fun options that you don't normally see on Dragonmount like starting the game at Night. If that made the game hard or even ruined the experience for any of you I apologize. I thought it turned out well except for the "majority +1" rule. That's not something I'll use again I think. If you have any questions or comments...well post'em! Hope you all had fun and thanks for playing. :)
