GF was doing well.  Having received a tip that the game was gonna involve some unscrupulous players he had bought a book on how to spot and stop cheats.  As the third session was coming to an end he was thinking intensely about the last section of the book he had read during the last break.  Being distracted by this he called an all in raise he shouldn't have and lost his stack.

GB Town DOC has been lynched.

You have until Friday 11:30 AM MDT to submit your night actions.

*******I'll give Mish until that point to get her service back then I'll look for a replacement.**********

Unvote

I've only got my time at work to get on DM, so I've got to make the most of it.

I do find it interesting that all the previously silent players are coming out of the wood work suddenly.

I like BG's posts on GF. I haven't liked his play at all this game and seeing someone else's analysis on it was helpful. I don't think I have much on Tina besides circumstance. I went back and looked over some of her other posts and generally I think she has been playing a very pro-town game. I also find it curious that GF's been the leading train this long and still hasn't been lynched. Looks like the scumteam have backed off after running him up so quickly.

Ahhh...the re-read and change of heart...what was your circumstantial case again?

Go back and look if you're interested. In short, Tina linked me to Chuckles saying that if he flipped scum I would get lynched next, then if he flipped town (which he had) then we would go after GF next. Both have flipped town. Which brings me back to my original point of what I interpreted as her setting up lynches.

Tsuki, did you read rules #2 and #3?

Do you have a point??

Your scummy hammer was the point. There was still time before DL. Those rules state that if no lynch is achieved by DL then the player with the most current votes would die. The hammer wasn't necessary.

I wish that GF would have claimed as the Doc. Doing that would have caused me to unvote him, and I am sure that everyone else would have done the same.

Thanks Vam.

Again the bell sounds the end of another break.  Everyone makes their way back to the tables.  Just as Mish sits down she is handed a note from the floor manager.  She face turns white as she reads the note.  When finished she drops it, grabs her things and runs for the door.

One of the players next to her grabs and reads the note.  "There's been a medical emergency at her home." The player says.

Later, it was found out that there was no emergency.  She had been played.  By the time this was determined it was too late for Mish.

Mish - regular poker player (vanilla town) is out of the tournament.

With 7 players left it takes 4 to lynch.  It is LYLO.  You have until Monday 3PM MDT to secure a lynch.

If we have a cop, we need your info now.

I agree. The information from a claimed cop would be very, very useful in order to lynch a mafia person. Otherwise, we on the Town are going to have to keep on voting at this LYLO stage without any helpful NA information for us.

While it's true that we need to tread carefully (Lylo!) and a cop viewing might be very useful, that doesn't mean we shouldn't be active, playing and trying to figure this out.

We shouldn't be waiting for the cop to come and save the day or something.

1) It's very much possible that there is no cop at all.

2) The maffia should not learn whether there is one. So don't try to lure the cop. Keep that bottle of wine open.

3) If there is a cop, he should choose his own strategy. Don't try to direct him.

4) Cop coming out with a single viewing is not guaranteed to do much by itself. Remember that. For instance, a single guilty is just a one-day delay. An innocent might be much more useful.

5) Personally I think that the cop should wait and see how people play and interact. This is my opinion.

I'm pointing a FOS at Tsuki for yesterday's events (especially that hammer).

BG's cop-luring post pings me a bit, but overall, I found him quite townish (a little different from the last game I played with him, but that does not mean much, he was playing Cop that game (brilliantly, I might add) and he obviously shouldn't stay on that meta no matter his alignment/role).

I really liked Tina's play so far, I'm putting her to town with a little suspicion nudging me more and more strongly as the days pass. Something feels off, but I'm not sure what. I think I should read up on her interactions.

I can't read Andrej. I have never played with him. He seems to have a consistent meta and posting habits. I find myself disliking his post very often, but then I read something that makes sense. I think he should be looked at.

NotBob: really, I have absolutely no idea. I just don't seem to remember much on what he's been doing. I must focus on him on my read-up.

Vam: I like this new improved Vam (more posts than usual, no complaining of not having the time to play), and to me his posts seem to have weight to them, not just idle talk. He does convince me of caring of this game (which he usually doesn't). I've seen him play town, I've seen him play Power Role and I've seen him play scum. He played them about the same way. So I dunno. He's just different now, but in a good way. Is that a good news? I dunno.

Well, those are my impressions anyway.

Yea about BG. This is just meta (so take this with a grain of salt).

But I think it's likely that BG would stay on his last game meta if he was scum. At least that's what I'd do in his case. Very pro-town, very dangerous, very free to talk - very unlikely to get lynched.

So that's one of the reasons I'm leaning town on him.

Alright, I'll be back in the afternoon folks (10:21 here now), I need to work a little, afterall. Having a more relaxed day, but I need to do my job, afterall!

I agree with BG, getting the cop results (if there is a cop) would be very helpful.

My instincts says Vambram, Csarmi and NotBob but since it´s lylo I´m not confortable to start voting right now.

The longer BG is alive the more nervous I get.

Yea, he tends to have that effect :)

Somehow you've got that effect on me now.

We are at LYLO. I understand the problem that we lost the Doc so exposing the Cop is dangerous, but with the activity level for most this game there simply isn't enough information floating about to make educated decisions. My case on GF was based on the fact that she had laid so low the came out of nowhere posting like crazy. I was wrong.

Its do or die at this point, and even if we do lynch correctly, there is still at least a 1/3 chance the cop will get NK'd anyway as its apparent I'm not the cop. Probably even a higher chance than that as it is also apparent that Vam and Tina are not the cop. There is absolutely no reason to hide now. To not reveal the cop is actually kind of anti-town at this point.

Not Cop/want reveal:

12. BG

13. Tina

7. Vambram

Against Cop reveal:

8. Not bob (based on his vote for me).

11. Csarmi

Unknown:

5. Andrej

10. Tsuki
