Thoughts:

 

Hard to get excited at our current prospects.  Not confident in my initial game play.  I'll try to slow down the thought process.

 

Don't like GFs play throughout.

Vam's hammer of _Cloud very scummy in hindsight.

Two players I suspect are town are Tsuki and Csarmi.

Two players whose alignment I would like to know are Tina and/or Andre.

No.  That is incorrect.  At this point, the town has to make a good decision.  My play has provided too many votes without proper analysis.  Today, I would like to think more and vote less.  Hopefully, provide a better outcome.  During the re-read of this thread I came across several statements that could provide better insights into the thoughts of the other players. They see more than I can alone and I want to utilize their observations.

Not much, usually someone town ends up lynched. I'm thinking this back and forth thusfar has probably been between townies. Though then again, one would think one of the scum would be quick off the blocks and be there. That's pretty much it I fear.

Remember that time I FoSed Mish for saying there was no way of knowing if the fight was townie vs. townie. Re-apply here. And again on Vam. 
 

I suppose Cloud could be voted, though for me it's now a cup of tea or going back to bed.

Okay, so arbitrary ranking that means nothing until your follow up. We have no idea why people are +'s or -'s in your opinion at this point. You do say you will follow up.

 

 

++ is certain town, -- certain mafia, and inbetween in between. I've sometimes used that for notating who's who. I guess you just as well say -2, -1, -½, 0, ½, 1, 2, but the other is better on paper.

He's implying that HE (++) is perfectly Town, Tina (+) is Town, and that BG and Mish ((+)) are looking town, and everyone else is either Null or scum-ish.

I dislike when people proclaim themselves Town in this fashion. Mind explaining your reasons for ranking the players as you have? Curious how you've got Tsuki and NB as your strongest mafia reads although all three of you have played somewhat similarily this game.

Why? These things are obvious. For one, it might be stupid play to link myself with Tina if I were mafia, but not otherwise. It is useful to remind people of stuff, who knows what we lost last night because of people missing things. The ranking system is a triviality, but might be better than a verbal representation. No doubt others have used a different basis for theirs, so it might actually be useful; not sharing leaves only the mafia talking to each other. So, what was there for me to point out regarding your post, Tsuki?

Obvious to whom? Someone who knows who's town and mafia already. Your ranking is only trivial because it doesn't give reasons. Most people when they post a list say "Person X, slight scum read because blah blah blah"

I think your play really is looking for someone to lynch rather than finding scum. As for my play, some real mental gymnastics is needed if one thinks I've been driving any lynch: I did not participate in the first one, the second I did once it was clear Chuckles had to be lynched whether scum or not because of the case and it was a matter of time, and here I have done nothing to lynch anyone though I'm hesitating to think of you as scum. Andrej I voted to add screws to that, in a somewhat unusual way, guaranteed to bring attention. I don't know what exactly should constitute scummy, but I fail to see how I could be scum. Thankfully I'm not particularly skilled at mafia, so I can play this way without being nightkilled. I'd be lynched eventually, anyone who raises their head usually is, and it is fine when info comes with it. I hope you're scum so this was worth it, now I unscrew the tension, but you surely must be.

Who cares if you were driving a lynch. Why does scum need to drive lynches when Town can implicate themselves and do it for you? Hence, the idea of lurky scum. At a certain point though, scum DO need to come out of the shadows and push a little harder as they become more and more a percentage of the total players. Oh look. GF has become more and more active as we are getting close to the end of the game if mafia isn't lynched.

 

I'd call you scum when I knew you were, whether I suspect it or not is irrelevant to that.

 

The way I read it, it was clear he would be lynched, based in Tina's case. I thought it was a good one. Of course, I myself was slowly getting votes, which didn't allow me to stand aside from the voting. Yea, that post all to the good.

Huh? Tina's case on Chuckles was good. So why was your reasoning "Fishing is Fishing" and not, "I agree with Tina"? And then you voted simply because you couldn't be seen NOT voting?

 

For some reason, I think if Tina were scum, the voting wouldn't have gone so smoothly. I guess, one would think the mafia would themselves have hesitated over it. There was never any real alternative for it. There didn't seem to be a particular reason for Tina to have started casing Chuckled like that, either. I think it was obvious Andrej would not be voted out like that, though I liked the potential dynamic of a sudden train on someone. Should look to see if the mafia would have had time to try to latch onto it.

 

I somehow feel Mish has been the same as when I played with her last a full game, the only suspicious thing being her reaction to the night punishment, though understandable enough. We are allowed to react. BG, because I haven't felt him being particularly active. I've just felt they'll likely end up being town.

Linking of players. Tina and Chuckles. Doesn't make sense for mafia to hesitate really. If Tina were scum, then she's leading a lynch. Happens often, scummates can come in and help with supporting "evidence" so your argument here doesn't make sense to me. So you were fine with running up Andrej on a whim because "it was obvious Andrej would not be voted out like that".... well, what if AJ had a particularly bad reaction to the pressure since it was unfounded (i've seen town and mafia alike do it)? He very well could have been voted out based on that. 

 

Now BG tries misrepresenting as well, this is the most fun I've had with this game thusfar.

Bg: That I'd be somehow inflamed. I am as cool as a cucumber. It is essential I take part now, considering yesterday's votes and night talk, so logical, too. If this effort isn't successful, what I've said this far, I'm not sure there's a point to going on talking, though. But I don't think the rest of town can be so foolish as to vote me off like this, now.

 

Perhaps someone will consider a proper voting candidate yet, I think I have contributed quite a lot today. Those who are better and more experienced should see things better than I, and it is never good if the one talking tries to think as well. (This really does not help anything, but I'm starting to become curious whether I'd actually be lynched now if I didn't say another word.)

As for Csarmi, I looked back and there isn't a whole lot in his posts that would make sense to quote, he's farther down my suspect list anyway. He's played a rather straight laced game, not particularly town or scummy, just a good amount of solid participation. Really, something about the way his hammer vote went down yesterday just feels off. I might be wrong about it, but its a hunch. Maybe meta is influencing me a bit, I can't really put my finger on it.

I like BG's posts on GF. I haven't liked his play at all this game and seeing someone else's analysis on it was helpful. I don't think I have much on Tina besides circumstance. I went back and looked over some of her other posts and generally I think she has been playing a very pro-town game. I also find it curious that GF's been the leading train this long and still hasn't been lynched. Looks like the scumteam have backed off after running him up so quickly.
