Also dont think what Peace did was that bad per se. He was trying to push at someone he thought could be scum imo, just made the wrong guess as to who might have been LD.

So it's all well and innocent when your scum teammates do it, but not when I do the same thing?

I had already explained my suspicions on Krak, I never parroted anyone. He tunneled on Basel day 1 for no reason, and I called him out for it. The recent LD/ST thing was just icing on the cake.

 

 

My only town reads are Mish, NotBob, and Peace. TG's last few posts also endeared me somewhat to his towniness as well.

Dude, it was Day 1 and Basel was playing scummy.

Symps are not town. They are mafia who cannot communicate with the other mafia. That is the classic definition of the role. Anyone who says a symp is town is either dissembling or mistaken.

 

And it's not hypocritical to call Des out for his bandwagon vote as it was dressed up to look like a reasoned-out vote. When I bandwagon, I don't hide it. When scum bandwagon, they sometimes try to make their votes look more legit than they are.

 

And Peace's rolefishing was purely anti-town. There was nothing pro-town about it.

And I def wouldn't say that Peace's rolefishing, as you describe it, was pro-town. In retrospect it obviously wasn't a move that helped town, anyone can see that. I was saying that his intentions looked like they were genuine to me, that he was trying to catch scum. Basically I didn't see it as rolefishing, and instead saw it as scumhunting. If someone is trying to pressure someone that they think is scum, and end up drawing a cop out, you usually don't blame them if that cop was acting kinda scummy, like earlier in this game with Hallia.

This wasn't the clearest of statements, and it seems like you kinda trip over your words, but a) I know that Wombat was most certainly not describing Peace's actions as pro-town, b) nice to see you defending your friend again, and c) kinda like how I pressured Mish, thinking she was scum, and ended up helping to draw the LD out? But it's scummy when I do it.

 

 

 

I don't see a strong case against me, but I do see you protecting Peace pretty regularly.

I already responded to some of this, but to add in a couple of other parts:

 

A) I wasn't saying Wombat said it was pro-town, I was saying he describes Peace's actions as "rolefishing", and I don't think it was. But in retrospect what Peace did obv led to the LD being outed, even if she did claim unnecessarily, so its obvious that it wasn't a pro town move. Doesn't mean Peace is scum tho.

 

B) I'm defending Peace because I think he's town. Out of all the other players, he's the one I have one of the strongest town reads on at this point.

 

C) I never attacked you for "outing the LD". Never happened chum.

I'm vanilla, you won't get a fancy last second claim from me. I don't really buy Krak's claim BTW.

 

Wombat is assuredly scum BTW. He:s actually being completely obvious about it. He's leading the town hardcore, and acting like a freaking cheerleader about getting townies lynched. He's contradicted himself a few times, his cases have all been weak, he's off his town meta, and he reaches at every instance to try and make someone look scummy. Its quite clear to me at this point that he has an anti-town agenda, if I end up getting lynched please do not let him dance away from the noose himself. Make him accountable for his actions.

 

I'm still convinced this is the most likely the case.  All about credibility at this point.  Not sure I have enough to overcome the LD claiming his town alignment statement as true.

Out of the four we have two claims with one of the claims vouching for another.  No CC so the town has to follow for now.  Still rather see a Vam and/or Tig or even a GF lynch.

I was indeed a Lie Detector in my last game. Seeing how it was at least 6 months ago or more, I have no idea what game it was. What I do know is that my account, along with several others, got screwed up a month or two ago and I lost some content. All I can say is that I was the LD, but there was no silvertongue that I was aware of.

Like mish said there are normally both together so I need to find the game to check it wasn't talked about

Alright, responded to what I thought I needed to, and I think I made a very clear case for why I shouldn't get lynched. I have shown intent to catch scum at many points throughout the game, and should I get lynched town will lose a vanilla, not a big deal, but someone who is at least trying to find scum. You just can't say the same for Vam. Up to y'all tho.

Des was the first one to ping my radar in the game, because of the post I mentioned earlier where he wanted me to state I wasn't masons with Kaylee. Fun fact about Des' meta: He can't help himself but hint to things he knows about. The hints are really hard to pick up unless you know what he's talking about too though. I got the same feeling from him that I did from Krak; that he knew there was an LD (because of a mafia ST) and wanted to distract the LD with checking someone else. Krak pinged me way more on that scale, but I tried to point it out earlier, no-one seemed to pick it up then.

If you are the LD you let omgus bias yourself then. I asked if y'all were masons because you both defended each other day 1, I have stated this multiple times. No hints to nothing, just me trying to make something clear, because at the time masons would have been the only thing to make me feel better about you two. Turns out Kaylee was scum, so my suspicions were at least partially correct.

 

And you trying to tie me to the LD thing is just you jumping at shadows. If you go back and look, I never involved myself in the whole LD discussion when it was in full swing; I thought it was much ado about nothing until a LD claimed. Just because Krak jumped on my post as a chance to discredit you doesn't make me scum, mafia will often use another townie's post to try and lead to their own agenda. Sad that you haven't once considered that.
