Lol, it is like a cop that has to breadcrumb to get any decent info.  It's main purpose is to sew WIFOM and be fake claimed by VT's so that scum can sh*t themselves

 

Hmmm, this is pure speculation on my part, but what are the chances that Hallia could be fake claiming in order to allow the real cop of this game to avoid being RB by the mafia?

There is always the possibility that anything can happen..but your scenario would mean that the cop would have to know about a role blocker on the scum team day 1.

I don't buy it vam.  At most the cop would let that ride for a day or two.  The only way it could sneak past is if she was a backup cop (sharing a QT or the like) or if the cop was very cautious and viewed her.. but then I do not know why you would feel the need to state it in thread as it can't help the town.. only mafia.

Haha I log on to see this as the first post since I last checked. I work Thurs/Fri/Sat, because those are the only days we need a host/hostess at the restaurant and I'm on limited work duty. Hosting is the suckiest position, so so boring. Just ugh. And working for minimum wage, no tips, makes me grumpy as hell.

 

 

So our story starts with some thoughts I've been having lately.  I've been thinking about making a Kingkiller Chronicle mafia setup.  Fascinating books btw.  I highly recommend them.  Anyways, the most powerful magic in that series is Naming.  If you know the deep name of something, you can call it to do your bidding, hence the name of the first book.  I'd been thinking of adapting the concept as an anti-reveal mechanic.  Anyways, this is actually not that unusual an idea.  Germanic paganism usually held that words were magic.  The idea of someone scratching runes on a piece of stone or wood and then someone else being able to read his thoughts was pretty amazing to the illiterate.  This of course led to various beliefs about language being magic.  One of the most interesting was that you could use someone's name to place a curse or hex on him or her.

 

Sort of casts Thorum's insistence on a character reveal from our cop in a new light, huh?
