People need to start playing/voting. It's 17 to lynch. We need to get someone up to 10+ stat.

This, I agree with.

Vote Vam

Nearly 50 pages in and several contentious arguments to choose from and you wont take a stand on ANY?

That's scum behavior pure and simple.

I feel like you just dumped a bunch of gasoline on the fire with this vote on him. Serves your interests though, given the heat you've been catching.

I decided to stop taking notes.lol

Vote Rand

Peace/Ape: Not buying the 3 thing but I don´t know what to make of it either so I will put that on my shelf as well.

Talya - I think you missed a category in the most likely to be recruited list. That is popularity/big game. Not strange that you forgot about that since you probably fit in in that group.

I feel like you are cratering on this peace/ape #3 thing so as to avoid anything relevant, but that doesn't stop you from burying your vote on an established train.

Wombat wasn't picking up a train so I decided to switch my vote.

Rand (8) - Wombat, Lily, EP, Kronos, Vam, Hally, Berf, Tina

Nolder (6) - Cloud, Peace, Talya, Basel, Darthe, Ithi

Vambram (7) - NotBob, TGlems, Nolder, Crush, Rand, Dap, Leelou

Nolder ignites the vambram train with his "scum play pure and simple indictment" of a known patsy.

Tina, craters on peace/ape connection, but still puts Rand at 8 votes.

Vambram and Rand trains, take pressure off Nolder.

So rather stick with Wombat, who I presume you had a case on? You chose to shift your vote to Vambram because that's where the momentum was. I know, I saw.

Yes. My case on Wombat was that he seemed to know more about the recruiting mechanics than he should.

I shifted to Vambram because momentum was picking up there and because I think it's scummy to fencesit.

I don't like to waste my vote if I can help it.

A couple post ago you agreed we need to get someone over 10+ votes.  Kinda what the kid did.  I like Vabram for a recruit.  His showing up and posting the not sure what is going on thing feels like he got some news and wanted to ease into the game without drawing much attention.  Like a "Golly gee" post.  Yet, I have never played with him, so Im not sure if thats what he nusually does.  People mentioned it. But from  non Meta perspective he is a pretty good place for a vote.

No. I was making a point that your actions, while you are trumping them up conversationally as "scum hunting" or purposeful, are ultimately driven by opportunism and self-preservation. I'm also making the point that Tina also made a play that keeps her mired in chasing her tail about the #3 (a variation of fence-sitting as well) while ultimately casting a vote that helps take pressure off you.

Therefore, I've draw a line between you and Tina.

Yes, except any casing done on anyone at the start of the game is invalid as the mod told us NOBODY started out as possessed.

I do agree that we need to get someone voted up. That doesn't mean I can't apply logic to the situation and allow my observations to dictate whom I want to vote and advocate voting.

Regarding Vambram, he can't get out of his own way. He's naive and says things out loud in games that tend to get him in trouble. It is by no means an alignment tell, and I've seen him do the fence sitting thing plenty of times. He's cut from teh typical DM cloth where they thing every cast vote has to have an extreme amount of gravity to it. He plays scared, basically. I feel like Nolders ignoring meta and being opportunistic personally.

And I'm pretty sure that is when most of the heat was on me.  Rand I can't remember if it was before or after the first possessed came into being.  Nolder is more recent (after first two possessed).

Anyways, the point is that we can safely ignore every "scum tell" we got before the first possession.  It is only after where the good stuff lies.

I've only played with Vambram a few times and this is only my 2nd game with him in at least a year or more I think.

As far as Vambram goes I have no meta reads on him.

From what I've seen Vam's posts go from very polite to incredibly diplomatic.  It seems to me that the more diplomatic Vam is the more likely he is to be scum.  Granted, this is a conclusion I made from a small sample size of games with him, but I feel comfortable with my vote on him.

It was the scumhunting part that I was really replying to. I was not trumping myself up like I was out to make something happen is my point.

I think it's safe to assume that none of the D1 people getting heat were chosen for conversion at that time. Nolder wasn't getting heat D1. You and Rand were.

You know who concerns me, Verbal. He went from chatting like a school girl early D1, to clamming up entirely. He'd also be someone I'd think gets chosen for early conversion if a DMer is the recruiter. I'd like to see him resurface. He plays like a coward.

How do you know that Wombat knows a lot about the recruiting mechanics. He might just be making stuff up.

also ... see how easy it is to remove extraneous quotes when necessary?
