I didn't say that is what makes a bastard mod game. Just that it would fit well in one, IMO.

*licks with Verby*

It really wouldn't, though.  Complicated roles =/= a bastard game.  Many times the roles are quite simple - it is the game mechanics that can be complicated.  Don't worry, I'll show you the way.  Have faith, my young padawan.

Vote AVM

Second time you've done the whole vote with no explanation and move on thing.

Lynch Booboo, if he flips scum, lynch Ishy next. :)

Hate when you do this.  Always pings.  But you're terrible at this game and do it all the time so instead I'm just going to furiously type my thoughts out and wonder.

BOOM. There's a scum tell.

Every time I'm town and sniffing around you as scum, you inevitably make statements JUST LIKE THIS. You point out something you know I always do as town (connect the dots) and then imply it "pings" as a scum tell, but don't commit to calling me scum... then I usually catch it, and push harder for your lynch and you eventually call me scum back as OMGUS self-defense.

Then you'll debate the peripheral crap with me, and won't address my case logic.

Clockwork.

You already bit on my trap, and now you are gift-wrapping a huge scum tell. Thank you.

Booboo.. I never said we shouldn't lynch them... i just said we shouldn't JUST lynch them because they were shown as townies by the mod... Give me a good reason to vote for them and I will, but that's not a good enough reason. Honestly I don't understand your vote on AVM at all... Ishy acted weird all yesterday and a bit scummy, but nothing on AVM... What makes you suspicious of him? Give me a good reason besides "I'm booboo and I'm awesome" and I might actually entertain the idea that you could possibly be right.

Ape voted Ishy, I figured I'd vote AVM.  I liked the idea of competing trains on those 2.  But, after Ishy said Chicago Citizen was equivalent of vanilla townie, I decided to go to content play for my top 3 with my vote on Ed.

The 3 names listed are agenda pushing.  I dont like agenda pushing.

Oh yeah? What are their agendas?

Digress into this later, we've got JIF/booboo on the ropes.

I'm guessing bastard modding != basic game?

Not really.  They can backfire in a spectacular (read = bad) way if not done properly.  Bastard games are my specialty.

Fair enough.  And I'm in agreement with the tells on him.  He dies today.

Finished catching up and not sure what's going on.

Someone is pushing an agenda on JiF and a few people have either been duped, are in on it, or are following for other reasons.

Not sure about all that yet. I don't find JiF scummier than Ishy as of yet so I don't understand the big push on him especially when Ishy got mentioned in the scene.

That feels extremely off to me on top of everything he did yesterday.

Vote: Ishy

FoS: Ape

Singling Ape out over this whole JiF thing because in my experience when Ape has someone on the ropes he pushes until one of them is dead. Backing off to push on JiF doesn't sit right with me.

Keep reading the thread dummy... my take on the situation is Ishy has been scummier than AVM, and JIF came along and pushed AVM's train. A little exchange with JIF and he exposed his very familiar scumtells to me. I'm going with my reads on JIF, as a determinant for how to look at Ishy and AVM. It's pretty logical, not surprised it's lost on you though. Hahahahahaha...

Who did Ape have on the ropes then Nol?

You. He cased you during the night (which is a little suspicious in and of itself) and had a few people agreeing with him not to mention those that were already on your case yesterday like me. Then he did a 180 and switched to JiF. Doesn't make any sense unless he knows something I don't.

Ok so let's say JiF is scum and targeting AVM instead of his scummate Ishy. Why lynch JiF first when there was already more support for Ishy at the break of day?

I love when people say "not sure what's going on" and follow it up with a hard stance and statements meant to influence the consensus. Lovely.

Except that it was followed with an opinion not a hard stance. You're slipping in your old age.

Because independent of connecting the dots with Ishy, JIF hit scumtells I'm confident in lynching him over. Making him my #1.

Not sure what is hard to understand about this.

Also, I think Darthe has a bastard game coming up.

I should probably stop spamming the game thread.

<.<

Then we'll see how it goes - I haven't seen anybody else on 3 sites create a successful (and true) bastard game.  Kitchen sink also =/= bastard games.

Ape always cases during the night - he uses it to stay alive or draw a NK if town, and be a super-townie when scum.....in other words, a null tell.  You haven't played a much with Ape as I thought you have.....

Not sure what is hard to understand about this.

Let me make up some fake numbers for you to help you understand how I am seeing things. At the start of day Ishy had 60-80% support for being lynched, JiF had 30-60%. It would be easier to drive a lynch on Ishy than on JiF. Instead of going for the easy lynch you spent time driving JiF's number up so that now he has closer to a 50/50 chance of being lynched. What I don't understand is if you thought they were both scum why jif first?

Posted

I ain't calling you scum I'm just trying to let everyone know the whole situation feels a little off to me. Could be as simple as you think it's funnier lynching JiF than Ishy idk.

It just doesn't sit quite right with me.
