I don't really like the concept of allowing people who were never even in the game into a dead thread to see the inside info while the game is still going. The dead thread should be what the name says it is... a thread for the dead. Anything else is a breach of security.

 

If a dead thread doesn't have the secrets revealed, but makes the dead players guess at what is going on, then it's fine.

I disagree with your stance here Basel. First of all, in Ithi's games there is never any setup info as she believes that it is more fun to let the dead people comtinue to play along and guess who is what without knowing why things happened a certain way.

 

Even in games that have info in the dead thread I would argue that it would be more likely for a security breach to occur from a player as they actually have something to gain from having their team win. A non-player that is just reading andposting for enjoyment is less likely to reveal anything because it would cost them the fun of talking about the game in a manner that keeps info away from live players.

 

Finally, I would never think to accuse anyone of feeding information to a player without proof and certainly not Cindy. I am confident that she would not do such a thing.

Ill offer to replace and if the mid wabts to keep me as a vack up ill not ask for the thread, but if they dont i like to know the teams and stuff so i can wtch it play.out. Id bever share it cos its against the spirit of the game but i do like to know

I don't think Cindy would do any such thing; it's mostly the principle of the thing is all. If I let one non-player in, then I'd have to let everyone not in the game in, and then it gets hard to draw the line. And since it is indeed off-topic, I'm going to let this drop as well.
