I was planning on unvoting after seeing some responses to my vote but Tina's self vote has me wondering a bit.   It creates a ton of wifom. 

 

I agree that Tina's self vote creates a lot of wifom. At first I only saw it as a funny joke, but she seems to do the same thing to Ishy in a later post:

OMG! I´m the first one who have put the third vote twice now. :D

 

This might be seen as just kickstarting the game, but it comes of a bit forced to me. It's like she desperately wants to show everyone that she is town by placing a third vote on Ishy and then making another joke about being the third voter twice in a row.

 

 

Hmm, I almost thought for a second that I should have voted Tina, because of the self vote taking so long to switch over. But now that it has, I can honestly say I'm still trying to figure out who to vote for. Though I do wonder about why I shouldn't still vote for Tina. I've never played with you guys so it's going to take me some time to figure out your patterns. 

This is Tina's normal MO, she always tries to get the game jump started quickly. Her third vote is a null tell.

 

You can vote her though, getting some pressure on people is always a good thing.

 

Meta. From what I heard of her in this game she is a good enough player to hold on to the same meta as both town and mafia, so it doesn't really say much imo.

I think it seems you're just picking an easy target and attaching yourself to the end of the train.  I think Tina's joke votes were just that: a joke.  And I think mafia took advantage of that and jumped right on.  And at the top, is that some buddying up to peace?

Really, any of the people towards the end that piled on are suspicious, but you are right, he at least gave some reasoning.  However, it seemed like he was reaching with the whole third voting thing, I didn't see that as anything special.  He also seems like he's a little quick to agree with people.  

 

 

He doesn't know it for fact..just states its like fact.  I take as his leanings if he is town and wifom if he flips scum.

 

Yeah I wouldn't take Darthe's reads on post #141 tooo seriously. It's still too early to get a town read on so many players.

I'm much more interested in all the players that are linking others together. Linking two players together without the benefit of a coroner report to back up your assertions is scummy. So who's been doing it?

I'm smelling a scum team trying to frame Cloud. Who, I might add, is one of the few players to actually at least attempt to build a well-thought out case before casting a vote. There were many others on Tina's train that voted with little to no reasons.

 

I'm suspicious of Hobbit mainly at this point, with TG a close second.

Well, they might have been jokes at first, but now they just read forced to me. Also the whole Ishy - Tress jokevote thing is just far fetched. I don't know why you think that I'm buddying up to Peace.. I agreed with his post where he said that Darthe's case are just his leanings, and I added that it's too early to get a town read on so many players with so little posts in total.

I think it's just because I'm the fifth vote  Easy target for mafia.

Well, I'm leery of Tina still, and I'm not buying the lynch on Cloud. I'm in agreement with Mish and you that someone is trying to build up a lynch on Cloud, but I don't think it's Hally. I'm reading her as more of a misguided townie, keeping in mind that she is inexperienced. For now, I'm more comfortable keeping my vote on Tina.

Ishy here's the last one posted before you unvoted and Hally voted for Cloud. Interesting that you unvoted Tress while mentioning that Tina's train stunk.

 

I agree somewhat with what Hally is saying, although I don't have much of a read on Cloud as of yet. It's an easy tactic for the mafia members to add their votes late on a train while generally just saying they agree with other people's thoughts. I think this team would be smart enough not to all be on the same bandwagon though, given the experience of most of the players.

 

I don't really like Tina's play, or that she's gone silent recently but just in case I'll unvote and look over some other things again later tonight once I get settled in.

Tress and I have both addressed this AJ, if she and I are in a game together, we're each others joke vote, everytime. I just thought that since the game seemed to finally be picking up, may as well make myself available to cast a meaningful vote. Don't worry though, it just might go right back on her.

 

I'm still waiting to hear back from Hallia. I make an observation about her, and she has yet to come back. Quit hiding Hobbit.

I saw the banter about you two typically joke voting each other to start off games. I was commenting more on how the post was perceived, or could've been, anyway. Your mentioning that her train was smelly and the speed it was building with and then unvoting although you weren't on the train could've been misconstrued.

 

I get what you're saying though, and I think you're playing pro-town currently so you're not on my list of potential scum. I'm gonna shower and get some grub since I just got off work, but I'll be back later to re-read some things and I'll post more thoughts later.

soo umm this is what I think and the questions I got. This game is tricky because there is so much meta things to consider since most of you seemed to have played together before. Not entirely happy with that situation but hey, what can you do?

Peace - Only ever voted for Tina, was this bandwagoning? Seen as "agreeable". No one voted him yet, has a FoS. (Serious? not sure yet). 

 

Tina - Oh Tina Tina... it would seem that you're the only one that has gotten alot of heat. But this heat is not random. I myself am questioning. I understand the joking votes, but why so many? You could have easily left your vote on me until things got serious, but you jumped into the Jokes and self-voted. This was interesting, and almost threw me off. And than came the Ishy vote, that too appeared to be all jokes. But I will admit I have seen you stepping up to "lead" away from the joke votes too. Also you say AJ "ping'd" your suspicion because of a buddying comment? I'd like to see more about this if you please.

 

Darthe - You gave a break down of what you thought of each of the player's styles and saying hi to those who haven't really spoken up. You "Townied" Tina, even though you say that she could be Mafia. but vote TG? because he seemed forced? Also I have to ask, is your list getting less detailed as you go because you really had no reason to do it other than to attempt to clear Tina? or were you just getting lazy in reasoning?

 

AJ - Voted Tina, and than removed vote, so voting for no one. Don't really have a lot on you just yet. So this could be good. though it would seem as though you're under suspicion for buddying...

 

Hally - votes Cloud. Are you going off what others say about others? Just wondering because this post. I understand that can be a misunderstanding on my part. You say Cloud is too quick to agree, who else would you think does that too?

 

Tress - NS vote on Ishy, than votes Tina to make things "interesting", and move along the game? Other than that, there hasn't been much said by you to really make it on my radar. 

 

Ishy - NS Tress, and no Vote. Seems to be keeping it light. But it does appear to me that he's "sticking up" for Tina. Even though his vote was a Tress, not a threat to Tina, he unvotes. This "pings" me if you will. So FoS on Ishy. Could be nothing, or it could be something. 

 

Could - I'm assuming the vote for Mish is NS, and the vote on Tina is Serious. Accused of attaching. Has a defensive reaction to Hallia's vote. Paired with Darthe and Peace. Could make a few assumptions based on that. But I won't, still not sure if it's enough.

 

TG - votes Basel. (I should have written posts numbers down for this lol) and than votes Darthe(why I'm not sure, and not sure it matters) As your vote for Darthe seems like a "grudge" vote. "He votes me so I'm going to vote him" so I'm not sure if this is enough to vote you, but you're definitely getting a FoS. Both of these votes don't seem to work in my mind. This may be a ploy to divide. One flips as mafia, the other is safe as "town". 

 

Lastly Mish - only ever voted for Cloud at the beginning. Contributed to conversation. But really I had nothing that really stood out to me enough to write it down. Though I still have to ask, do you maintain your FoS on Peace and AJ?

I can't speak for anyone other than me, but I would only say that I'm definitely not sticking up for Tina, far from it. Rather questioning those that are voting for her. You must admit, five votes out of seven in the space of a day is awfully suspicious. There has to be at least one, maybe more mafia on a train that builds that fast. So I decided that instead of analyzing "vote placement", ie, who voted where, that I'd analyze reasons for placing said votes instead.

As far as my unvote, I decided that since it seemed that things were getting serious, there was no need to continue with having a joke vote placed. It served no purpose and could be seen as a serious case. And I didn't want it to factor into anyone elses decision when it was meaningless to begin with.
