My apologies for quietness, we have just had our second flood in 3 weeks, and also we had no power at work for 36 hours over the weekend and still have no phone reception (the storms knocked out the tower). Usually I can check in on breaks at work but not at the moment so please bear with me.

 

I still have a niggly feeling about Peace, something just does not feel right there. Also Player, aside from his shocking spelling :p there is something going on there. I have not played for quite a few months but I have played a lot of games with Red, she tends to be difficult to meta as she plays just about the same way no matter her alignment - I am not getting a feeling one way or the other about her yet.

 

I think Nol may be town - he "feels" town his game which going by my past record on Nol, probably means he's scum lmao

*shrugs* i figured from the start that electing = lynching. The basic premise of mafia is lynching players to try to win, i know DM mafia has taken on a life of it's own but it's still a mafia game.

 

As for my "niggly feelings" sometimes i get a feel for a player - not through one sentence or post or comment, but in general. I am not going to turn away from a gut feeling when there has been little else to go on so far.

 

Hate the niggling feelings reason for voting. There is plenty to vote for someone at this point in time, and all she can give is a gut feeling. That's the reason you give when you don't care enough to make a case.

 

Agreed. I have been playing mafia at DM for 3 years - though this is my first game in around six months - but i have never seen Red manipulate the basic premise of the game in such a way. Regardless of what Darthe's alignment proves to be i do not believe that Red dropping out was anything other than due to her RL circumstances.

 

Now it's the weekend i have more free time to look back over the game since i joined it. Let's see what i can come up with over the weekend ;)

Let me know where in that quoted post you mentioned you had a problem with Red's play. You say you have a town read, you stake a lot in the claim, and you give us a minor history lesson. Since then all Darthe has done is show us he's desperate, especially with the double vote. I love how you didn't answer my question.

My bad, my pc ate my reply and I haven't had a chance to spend the time revisiting it.

 

Off the top of my head there was the electing thing, Peace asked "we're electing a president?" Which showed he had not read the opening game posts thoroughly, and a few minutes later there was a post stating he thought it was just flavour - first flip flop and ping.

 

There was a page 7ish joke vote, bit late on D1 for joke votes IMO.

 

He has been over defensive with everyone who has voted for him, and then the posts that have recently been quoted as well.

 

And then decides to "revisit her supposed WoT" and cases peace/darthe from the top of her head.

 

I get that RL happens and computer happens and whatnot but it's been quite a few days since all this have happened. I feel most of her posts are filler and bandwagoning (at least with Peace/darthe) or voting for someone who is in not danger ie player.

Surprise surprise. Oddly enough some of us actually work for a living in a job that does not allow time for sitting on DM all day.

 

I actually lost a lot of data when my computer crashed and due to having to restore it the temporary unsaved files were deleted. It took me a couple of days to get it working again and I am not about to attempt a post full of quotes on my phone.

 

Now back to Peace, now Darthe 4. Every time he was contradicted he got overly defensive. Every vote placed on him resulted in a defensive post.

 

There were late joke votes, misinterpretations of the rules due to skimming, obvious skimming of posts and posts defending other suspicious players, such at RTE.

 

I have stated my case several times, but as I do not have time to sit and re-read for hours until the weekends arrive you make your own decisions.

 

Just to add some Meta, each of the three times Player has pushed for me this hard he has been scum, so keep an eye on him.

 

Song is just playing as I remember her to as town, so unless she has changed her manner of play in the last few months I am leaning innocent.

 

I'd like an explanation on Darthe4's comment in John being scum, if you have something solid I will move my vote to him.
