Look at it this way.  Turin was under increasing pressure.  He decides to do as much damage on the way out as possible and soft claims.  This is an attempt to draw out the power role.  Which it did.  So now either way I am dead today or tonight.  If not lynched I get night killed.

 

The add bonus for the scum team is I have to use my shot tonight which this early in game means I might take out a townee.  I could holster and just bite the bullet I guess.  But still..that makes a useless vig.
