Wait, now you're somehow linking me with Peace and Panda? This I gotta see.....

I think he can make that case pretty easily.

We were on completely different pages throughout the whole No Lynch debate. What else has occurred that could even remotely link us?

Votes and you and I supporting each other.

This one isn't biased on the votes on me, I can live with a couple of votes.  It simply strikes me as beyond odd that three respectable players are not looking outside of what everyone else is.  You could all be bored with this I suppose but I am not seeing the game that I have come to expect from any of you and combined with a bunch of dancing around the larger trains happening at any given time.. yeah I have definitely noted that there is something odd here.

Darthe, I can only speak for myself.  I haven't posted all of my thoughts on who is coming across as scummy.

I'll throw you another one.

Ishy is probably scum.

Oh...I can see the responses to that statement already.

I know one of you three is at the very least.  Damn it Ishy is popular enough that I swear to god he gets a bit of a balm.  The guy just knows how to keep a crowd from turning on him.

Better question then the one I almost doled out.  Why on Earth are you doling out your reads like treats and without any form of evidence?  This is the same sort of thing tha got you on my radar.

Also @Ishy you never did reply to how you know Egwene is in the game and you implied that it was more than simple logic

Ridiculous?  That I've played with Ishy before and noticed the difference between his scum play and his town play?

When Ishy flips scum maybe people will reconsider.

Let's get it on the record that I don't think you're necessarily scum., but the fact that you're so sure based on absolutely no evidence is mind boggling.

My role PM provides me with certain info. I'm not allowed to elaborate further than that. I had to ask Basel if I was able to even say that much.

Dude, think about it. If I were scum, then why in God's name would I have argued so hard in favor of a No Lynch on Day One? I was doing everything I could to save a Townie from being lynched and keeping the numbers in our favor. In your scenario, nothing would have benefitted me more than seeing one Town lynched during the Day and another NK'd at Night. Or two as events showed. As scum, nothing would have been worse than a No Lynch. And thinking back on it, who argued the hardest against it? Those would be the people we should be looking at.

A lynch on someone who could of been mafia/3rd party or vanilla would still have been preferable to a No Lynch. The info we could've gotten from that was worth more than a roleless town and could have potentially given us a 1 up on the scum team. The only thing it gave us was a bit of an interesting argument.

Scum won on Day 1 with it going to No Lynch.

Posted

Then we'll have to agree to disagree Tink. For me, I prefer having the one extra Townie today that we wouldn't otherwise have. And I think that we got plenty of info from the voting patterns and back and forths from Day One even without the lynch.

I don't know if Rand or Lenlo are town.  It's possible they were given false claims.

Posted

Yeah, not having more claims makes this difficult (not that I want them atm).  Still, Ishy does have a good point and one that I had unfortunately overlooked.

BTW, Tiink you can push this all day but info was not worth a life at that time.  Yes, the no lynch was trumped up but that is because random does mafia no more good than it does us.

I disagree, and wrong.

Simple as that. This is more of a matter of perspective rather than analyzing content so if that's your firm opinion then accept mine and let's leave it at that.

You seem very very certain that we would of hit a townie?

Posted

Birgette as I seem to remember was and still is a contested character of this game. Fits but not quite. Im sure its been said before but it could be a fake claim.

Ishy suggested we would lynch town 100%. I understand the numbers but if you try save "town" players all the time  based on proportions we would lose most of the games.

I just dislike how you phrased it

I still think we should of lynched someone

Posted

 Well we were talking about lynching Elayne Nynaeve or Birgette.

This, when added with the numbers, is what made me believe we had a better shot of lynching Town than anything else. Disagree if you like, but it was a supposition based on logic.

Basel seems to like fake claims from what I have seen and he generally gives them some good ones ((Such as Truman in a WW2 game)) So I think we should focus more on how people play and the roles they claim instead of the characters because almost anyone is likely to be suspect imo.

Cool story bro, can you provide an example of where I used the terms 100%, or definitely, or without a doubt? Didn't think so. I never, at any time, said we would lynch Town with 100% certainty, nor did I imply it, I merely said that the odds were much greater than not lynching Town. But do feel free to continue spinning my words with no proof offered.

Ish, that is always the case early in a game.  Very thin logic shield you are trying to use.

this interests me, and I'm considering removing my vote, but I'm also cautious about doing so because I remember in the WWII game Ithi said she received info because of her role, had some people convinced and then turned out to be mafia...
