Also, regardless of the cases made against Mish in previous days (some of which I agreed with and started btw), the reasons for voting her today appear contrived.  So no.

So whats the matter with voting her for previously stated reason and well thought out cases when every day her lynch has been derailed or ignored just like it is being today? Everytime we get close to lynching her someone comes in and either tries to start a new train moving away from her or distracts from her train until it goes random and I refuse to let that happen again.

 

And I asked for an explanation because you came out of nowhere and voted Zanibar with little to no case work or reason for it, so I want to know why.

I had a ton of quotes selected to back up thoughts I had on a few players, but honestly this little grouping of posts just freaking pisses me off, and apparently I'm the only one who is upset about it.

 

JLM had a deadline fall on pretty much the biggest holiday of the year, and then even tho Darthe had voted for Mish, but forgot to unvote before doing so, JLM decided to let it go random. Now, she hadn't done a vote count in a long time, so it's not like Darthe would have had a chance to see that his vote wasn't counted. She had already seen one vote go random, so perhaps she wasn't feeling like being gracious to anyone, but the fact is we had already had one random, having a second one happen because someone forgot to unvote even tho the mod herself had not been nearly as active with the votecounts, yet expected everyone to stay active during the holiday season, is just unforgiveable in my book.

 

This will be the last game that I sign up for that JLM is modding.

Okay, as for game thoughts:

 

On reread, Mish pinged slightly, but I still think the case on her is pretty weak, and just seems like mafia trying to push an easy lynch since she already came close a couple of times.

 

Unfortunately, the deadline is once again upon us, and it is unlikely that we can secure a vote on anyone else. So, I'll have to vote Mish, even tho I'm not fond of doing so. Vote Mish

 

As for people that are actually pinging to me, so far my list is Basel, Tina, Darthe, and Zanibar.

 

Basel- has been playing it too safe this game. Early on was pretty much just summarizing what was going on, never really gave any definitive thoughts.

 

Tina- the thing that really bothered me was that she was hedging on BG's alignment early in the game. Brought up my point about BG, and said she agreed with it, yet also defended him at the same time. Plus, she voted for Mish first way back at the start of the game, and has been subtly pushing that lynch while continuously also having some strange interaction with Darthe. Her whole "he didn't answer my question about being mafia" thing also seemed kinda weak. While it's true that Darthe did kinda dodge the question, this is a basic game, and we already have a confirmed finder. To be cautious of a LD as well would not make sense with Darthe. Seems like she has just been trying to look like she's scumhunting.

 

Darthe- I got a town read on him through most of my reread, but two recent things really pissed me off. He made such a big deal about activity level and securing a lynch and everything, but he was sort of at fault for yesterday's random cause he forgot to unvote first (or should I say "forgot"), yet never brought this up that I noticed. Not only that, but we are in a similar boat today as far as trying to secure a lynch before the deadline, yet he votes for a complete outlier (zanibar, I do have a slight anti-town read on him, but he's also new so could just not be that good at mafia yet) w/o presenting a case. Just really bugs me that he'd gripe and complain that much, yet still not actually help in securing a lynch himself.

 

Zanibar- contributing very little. Hard to get a read on, and the posts he has given have really contained very little actual game thoughts. His vote on Mish also seemed to possibly be led by someone on a QT.

 

If it weren't for the deadline, I'd prob vote either Darthe or Tina. Both could potentially be scum, and they've just tried distancing this game.

I don't plan to.  Any idea how far we are from securing a lynch or going random?  Also, I am interested in a Zan lynch because their is really no info on the player and we are too far into the game to have someone with no info on them.  I had hoped to draw out a lurker with the poke but nada...  Anyhow, unvote vote Mish just in case, but I will be back to Zan if something doesnt come up soon.

Wow, I made an interesting observation and asked a simple question and the next thing you know Darthe & Despo were all over me.  I must have touch some raw nerve that caused them to react like this.  It looked like they just panic and quickly cast their votes to get Mish out next just for the sake of getting someone voted out and came down hard on me.  Could we have two of our mafias here?  Of course, they will be slinging mud at me.  Of the two, I'll cast my vote on:

I totally missed that Darthe voted but had forgot to unvote. That said, I think you are unfair. Many players, inkluding you, have not posted much due to the holiday. You can´t blame JLM for causing the random lynch. What would you have said if she didn´t follow her own rules? JLM has, like every other mod, spent time on this game so we can play and have a good time. She is doing her best, like the rest of us.

There wasn't much discussion as the group moved on but finally everyone settled on the idea that Mish wasn't really a Goonie, even if some were reluctant about it. Finally she volunteered to go in the front of the group and trip the next booby trap. You were all saddened when you realized you had been wrong about her.

lazy lynch pushing was lazy people. Don't make excuses after the fact. Now that Darthe explained why he cast out that peculiar vote, I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and let that thing go for now. Meanwhile, Zanibar rises up my scumdar for the awful omgus vote at the end there, which was pretty much for nothing since it was pretty obvious Mish was going to be lynched.

 

Right now I'm most suspicious of Tina, Basel, TG, and Zanibar.
