Sorry if I'm being slow, but I guess I did not realize that asking "Oh hey, you just came into the game and immediately decided to vote for so-and-so, why did you do that?" is considered defending another player and "scummy". Because, in my mind, my question of "Out of curiousity, why did you vote for so-and-so?" is pretty self explanatory, especially when you want to know the reasons for votes since, in my mind, asking for "voting reasoning" is a line of defense against mafia steering the game from their QT.

 

If anything, my question was two-fold. Part A is if there is some reasoning I don't get, I would like to hear it (which Despo later explained by commenting on the sudden activity). Part B was that it seemed awfully fast and could potentially be a quick vote based on the mafia QT rather than actually reading through the entire thread. Especially after the skimming discussion.

 

I begin to understand how Perrin felt playing Daes Dae'mar; I mean what I say and people find hidden meanings :-)

 

Just so you know, the reason your defense of GF came off as scummy (and yes, your post was basically in defense of GF since you were asking for reasoning behind voting him), has to do with two things. 1) GF later came off as scummy himself and 2) generally speaking, it looks kinda bad when one player comes out in open defense of another player when the player he is defending didn't exactly give much reason to be defended. Could either be you trying to protect a teammate, or earn townie cred by defending a townie.

 

Yeah the post thing is suspicious, but then again, that could just be a townie not trying to get modkilled.

Oh, just got home, I see I'm under some. Yes, well exhausting day, but everyone must know that if there's inactives will at worst get 3 townies killed come tomorrow. Wasn't much to go on, but really didn't want a modkill to come by my playing at least.

She had a couple of pingy statements. Most notable I found her vote on GF odd which is what got me looking over the thread again. Despo also pings me some here which is odd because he usually doesn't. It is like he posted enough early to get the ball rolling a bit and get a few rises then dropped off the earth. Kind of odd.

 

I post at night, when I'm active on DM. I don't drop off the earth... I sleep. Go back and check, since the game has started I'm pretty sure you'll notice that I have posted every night.

 

Oh and you're pinging lately btw. The train on GF wasn't all that fast really, it's a small game so there's less votes needed for a lynch, and GF DID do something fairly overtly scummy. For you to act lately like there is no case on him is kinda silly.

First of all, I'm still struggling to understand a lot of what GF says. Second, major ping with that part in bold. He's basically just begging people not to hammer him, to just wait till the deadline.
