We had this discussion in detail last advanced GOT game. The possibilities are endless. So even if you are one of the two bastards you aren't off the hook.

 

There's even another angle you could be pushing. You could be neither and an actual scum and be dropping bastard hints trying to make you look town cause a counter claim with 2 options is tough to make.

 

We did have that discussion last game. Thing is, it was mostly scummy wifom generated to help keep town paranoid about everyone. I should know, I was one of the mafiosos pushing that discussion. I said what I said then because I was trying to help my team win. The fact is, I think the vast majority of GoT-themed games will have the Starks as town.

Why role claim or hint so early? Why? I think it's bad for town. It's seemed that way in the games I've been in so far, anyway. Maybe confirmed townies aren't always all good, either, I don't know?

EP: Playing a really really horrible game, but a townie one. I am reading townie on him, fits with his meta, but he is playing so bad right now its not even funny. Literally, anyone can say I am pissing people off so I can see their reactions. What people like EP don't understand is that first of all, to people who are more sensitive than others, reactions will vary, and this is probably one of the worst ways to tell something. So I think he is townie, but I think our best option right now would be to ignore him until he is able to come out of his little box and play well, or at least at an average rate.

John: He does remind me of mafia right now, reactions are not coming off well, so vote John. By the way, I hate all of you for putting 6 pages of posts, that took forever to read now. :P

Oh look someone mentioned my name. I'm still here, I just sorta got lost in all the GoT stuff a while back. I have only read part of the first book, so I really had no idea what anyone's talking about. Anywho, except for the last game I was in, I don't really like posting much on Day 1. I prefer to just watch. If you guys actually want my opinion though I'll give it.

In the process of a re-read with notes this morning now that my brain is working again, but I'm only about 1/3 of the way through and out of time - have to go to work.

 

At very least I'm seeing several good informational possibilities from lynching John Snow... the wording of some of the votes on him has piqued my interest. I want to finish catching up on my notes before commenting on any specifics. And my gut feeling as of my fuzzy brain last night was that John was pinging me, but I haven't quite gotten through to define the posts that set off the pings yet.

Strangely enough I somewhat agree with this. Obviously John Snow and EP are pretty safe for the day, claiming Ed and Rickon (I think someone claimed Jon as well?)

BG still sticks out like a sore thumb to me here. I disagree with the statements in red atm. We have the claim from John I believe, and I do not see what Verb or Despo have done that is pingy. As for the last sentence of Red's that is... red.. well, that is perception I suppose.

I don't really believe John. I'm not counter claiming or anything, but he shouldn't be clear just because he claims.

Tress has been lurky and hasn't posted much game related stuff that I've seen.
