He did not convince me. I knew without a shadow of a doubt he would want to if he had any choice in the matter, and between being the hammer on Count Dooku and Amidala being night killed, I figured he'd been recruited.

EP: Playing a really really horrible game, but a townie one. I am reading townie on him, fits with his meta, but he is playing so bad right now its not even funny. Literally, anyone can say I am pissing people off so I can see their reactions. What people like EP don't understand is that first of all, to people who are more sensitive than others, reactions will vary, and this is probably one of the worst ways to tell something. So I think he is townie, but I think our best option right now would be to ignore him until he is able to come out of his little box and play well, or at least at an average rate.

I said I'm having a great time in this game, because frankly, I love seeing EP getting it handed to him. I had a strong feeling that with a few old schoolers in this game he would end up catching it sooner or later, and it really is causing me quite a bit of satisfaction while reading the game thread.

 

Mind you, this is NOT because I'm a jerk and have some kind of vengeful vendetta against EP or something. But frankly, he needs this treatment, and needs to continue getting this treatment in every mafia game he participates in, until he actually bucks up and learns to change his playstyle.

 

As others have said, EP right now is note for note within his town meta. He thinks causing a lot of havoc, pissing everyone off, and generally being selfish and overconfident is a good townie move. I don't think I have to say this for everyone else's sake, but for EP's sake in the hopes that this post might FINALLY help get through to him

 

That is NOT a good townie playstyle bro. Really, it's not a good playstyle for ANYONE in ANY role in mafia.

 

Quit it. If you decide not to, pretend to enjoy all the bitter trolling you get, until you emo out and say you're taking a break from DM mafia again, just to sign up for another game days later.

EP - you are not Ape or Mynd, this is not a good play style for you. Pissing people off in the manner that you do just makes them want to vote you no matter what you claim. It works against you more than for you.

It pulled Snow's reaction, it wasn'y all bad. I think some of those discrediting it are the mafia that fell for it.

From the games that I have played thats like 60 percent loss, and 40 percent your plan fails but town still manages to win. From all the games I have been in with you, this hasnt worked as far as I remember.

Red has me a little concerned, she went from full-on bulldog mode to rather suddenly saying she thinks EP is a Jester and unvoting. Seemed a little bit like a contrived excuse to stop pushing when she realized it wasn't going over well.

 

no i think i pointed out exactly what i wanted to about EP. his attitude sucks, hes reaching on all of his supposed "cases", bulldogging for the sake of bulldogging rather than scum hunting, attemtping to immitate others playstyles and doing a very poor job at it, and his claim stunk to high heaven (as well as the hints afterwards i might add about his role).

 

his play first felt like a scum trying to sow chaos and prevent us from getting D1 info; but now it just looks like he wants to be lynched, something Ishy pointed out and i happen to agree with.

 

him saying "i'm pissing people off just to piss them off" confirmed to me he's trolling and not playing, i have a policy, i dont feed trolls. aside from the fact that playing to just piss people off isn't a game style, its just being a horses ass. i'd rather ignore him, if his aim is just to piss people off rather than actually play the game. at this point he could be Ned Stark for all i care and i'd still ignore every word he says; its just not cool to purposefully aim to piss peple off, and it doesn't help the town at all. imho, EPs not in this game becuase he enjoys playing it, he's in this game to troll and get some sort of sick satisfaction for creating drama not related to actually playing the game.

I'm not attempting to imitate anybody, you don't even know who I got the idea from. They are actually in this game. You guys keep saying I'm trying to be like Mynd and Ape which isnt true, lol. Oh and Rand, the games you played with me were a part of the 60 percent. The original pokemon game the ghosttown game and the starwars game were my 3 most successful plans. However we lost the starwars game anyways due to Ishy fooling us all. I did like mine and peace's setup for the Myndjack game though. I had to reveal to save peace tho so it wasn't a successful game *shrug*

His odd role hints are always WIFOM for better or worse. I don't believe he is mafia for now based on the character, but ya never know how 3rd parties can be assigned. I mean the NIght's Watch is meant to be above all, but I'm willing to let him do his thing for now.

 

What I think is that his behavior draws out the reactions from everyone. However, I think the intended consequences are backfiring as happens at least 60% of the time according to EP's own words, which means townies are frustrated and getting caught in the trap. I think mafia might be trying to stay quiet and aloof. Therefore I think LZM, wot13, Cyan and some others that typically post more but are at the bottom of the barrel are suspect.

 

Vote LZM for that reason.

Well since Red is going talking about this in the mafia grievences thread. (which btw is bad juju) let me give a bit of incite that I have gleaned from this whole thing.

 

 

Darthe- loves to come at me call my actions illogical. Was also the one that gave me this idea due to a similar scenario by him. No comment from him about the whole thing. Very fishy.

Verb- Unknown entity as of yet gut still telling me not to trust him.

Red- Loves to bulldog possible jesters. Red introduced I may be a jester and backed down. Way off from her style. Defended Verb early on, pressed hard against me even after I revealed my character. Is now ignoring me, when I could say something very useful at any time.

Desp- Suspect, I'm getting a repeat gut feeling from the last GoT game based on his actions, and how he is handleing my actions.

Leelou- getting a town read on, she likes to throw jibes at me when she is town, especially when I pull my stunts.

Wot and Cyan are both new, for them to be quiet about the whole thing because they are scum would be a bit of a stretch unless you expect them to be getting coached. Which is possible, but I don't really think it's the case here.

Oh look someone mentioned my name. I'm still here, I just sorta got lost in all the GoT stuff a while back. I have only read part of the first book, so I really had no idea what anyone's talking about. Anywho, except for the last game I was in, I don't really like posting much on Day 1. I prefer to just watch. If you guys actually want my opinion though I'll give it.

*shrug* I'm actually trying something new, Ok since it don't really mayyer, I thought I had a way to fool the mafia into thinking I was the doc based on my night action when they went to try to kill me. However, since I did not wait for confirmation on how my ability worked I jumped the gun, I can not use it on myself. No I am not the doc.
