@Red: When I admonished Peace, it was for introducing conjecture that the Starks might not be town. I'm not going to say conclusively that the Starks will always be town in every game, but the fact is most mods are going to have the Starks down as town in the great majority of games.

 

As for Razen, he pinged hardcore for bringing my name up and trying to get my thoughts elevated. Could have been either buddying up to me or trying to get attention swung my way cause he thought I'd be an easy lynch. I want to get his story on what that was about.

 

Oh and yes, I am happy that my vote propelled EP to claim, for multiple reasons. First of all, I consider a successful day 1 to be one in which multiple people have been pressured, possibly have claimed either character or role so they have to be pinned down to that the rest of the game, and then possibly no lynch unless an obviously scummy candidate comes along. That gives you a plethora of information to use the whole rest of the game, not just the claims, but the reactions to others getting pressured and to those claims.

 

On a different level tho, I just don't like hinting. If someone's going to hint, I'd rather them just full out and claim. Removes the wifom, and gives town something set in stone about the player. Ambiguous hints are ambiguous.

 

Plus it was just personally satisfying to see EP flounder so early when he was already trying to troll me

Of course, in my game I based it not on who is generally favored but on the attributes of the characters themselves within my part of the series. Tywin Lannister, Melisandre, and and Sandor Clegane were all town in the beginning while Arya Stark ended up third party at the end. And it was bloody.

pfh, i woudln't assume the under lined. it depends on what PoV a game is done from. especialy in this series. forinstance, Kay and Kea coudl be doing it from the lannister POV, in which the Starks would be the bad guys. just an example on why your logic is bad. aside form the fact i have seen games here where well known good guys were given scum alignments. stop gamming the mods dude.

why do you think claims can be trusted this game? its an advanced game, anything is possible. theres no reason imo whay claims should be trusted more so in this game than any other.

 

as for the CCing, i've got to disagree with you. there are points that CCing isn't good. imo, if you know a perosn is lying about their role its better to try and discredit them on thread with a case than just out right CCing them. if their tryign to flush out a character, then why give them what they want and put a target on your back? same goes for alot of role claims and CC's.
