Acclimating to Shayol Ghul

Hello All,

 

So I'm new here, just got my PM, and it seems like a place I'm going to enjoy being a part of. It took me a bit to understand what goes on in the BT (the first SG I joined) but now that I've joined here I'm looking for a taste of Shayol Ghul!

 

So, let's see what you got! I'd enjoy learning about points/ranks, seeing the kind of SPAM people here enjoy, hearing any running jokes or anything else.

 

For starters...

 

I'm Random, aka Jesse. 29 year old guy from Seattle, and I've been reading and rereading the WoT series since I was about 11. It's far and away the best reading I've come across, and I've thoroughly enjoyed my time on DM so far as well!

 

I play guitar and sing in a rock band, and do video production for a living.

Well I did actually read that before this one... Leelou certainly is a vixen :) She's actually the one who got me to check out SG in the first place.

 

I've seen the stabbing/etc stuff creep up. Some form of a greeting, I assume?
