Monopoly Mafia [GAME OVER]

Rules

1. This is a hammer game

2. Do not quote any private communication I have with you. Paraphrasing and lying are both ok.

3. Do not talk to anyone outside the game thread unless your role says you can.

4. Deadlines will be put in place at my discretion. Stay active and they shouldn't be a problem.

5. If a deadline is missed during they day I'm going to count it as a no lynch. If you don't send in your night actions in time you forfeit their use for the night.

6. My bag of "characters" and the wording of win conditions is mixed so roleclaiming and comparing win conditions probably wont get you very far. Claim at your own risk.

7. Editing IS allowed. Eating, however, is not.

8. Don't talk about Fight Club.

9. All votes must be in bold red to be counted.

10. If there are scenes they are intended to be for flavor only.

11. If you die please don't post anything game related.

12. If a No Lynch is voted the town may draw from either the Chance or Community Chest. Details below.

 

Chance/Community Chest

If voting for a No Lynch the town may also choose to draw from the Chance or Community Chest "cards" I've made up. When a No Lynch occurs we enter a voting phase where you vote for either "Chance", "Community Chest", or "Neither" in bold green. If "Neither" is chosen the game just goes to night like normal. If a No Lynch happens because a deadline was missed the game will go straight to night. Some of the cards are good and will help the town while others are bad for the town and will help the mafia. They are chosen at random using random.org.

It's 1937 and the world is just starting to recover from the Great Depression. Many lives were effected during the depression, mostly for the worse but some clever fellows found a way to profit from the misfortune of others. Milburn Pennybags was one of these. He used the small fortune his great grandfather had left him to purchase majority stock in all major railroad lines when business went belly up. Landowners and companies alike couldn't pay their morgatges and had to sell their livlihoods to Pennybags. His friends started to call him Mr. Monopoly but the people who lost their homes to him had a few other less favorable nicknames for him. Due to the recent upturn in the economy Mr. Pennybags is now the richest man in the world and he's out to secure his financial empire. He and his railroad barons have set out to the auction house with the intent to snatch up ALL the property they can! It's up to you individual landowners to trustbust them before they gain a majority share of the board. Good luck!
