And with that, here's the transitiony scene:

 

One week later, in Agrabah, there was a secret meeting of the Council of Villains that had just convened. They were sitting in a dusty basement, trying to escape the infernal heat of the city, when they couldn’t take it anymore. Yzma finally couldn’t stand the heat anymore – and she stormed out of the meeting in protest. All the remaining villains looked at each and had the exact same thoughts on their minds. None of them considered Yzma a real villain anyway. She had no real magic powers – just her crazy inventions that were completely mysterious to everyone – including Yzma herself.

 

Pleased that the distraction was gone, the remaining villains were about to convene their meeting when Yzma came running back in. Silent glances passed between the villains – why had she returned?

 

“The King is calling for petitioners to come to the Royal Castle and give him the stories of the people across the land! You realize what this means? We can infiltrate the castle, slip him this, and then steal him off and ransom him off for millions! It’s genius!” Yzma announced as she held up a bottle of her familiar, unfamiliar pink potions.

 

“Or, how about we just murder the king aargh, and take the throne for ourselves, aargh? And then finally achieve our dream of ruling the world, aargh?” Captain Hook asked.

 

“Excellent idea!” the gathered villains announced with glee. Long had they dreamt of overthrowing King Mickey – this would finally be their long-awaited opening. They just had to decide who they’d send.
