[BASIC] Disney Mafia Signups

Another day rose in Mickey’s Magical Kingdom. A day just like any other.

 

King Mickey sighed as he sat the throne in his castle. Nothing ever changed in his routine – it was always the same day in and day out.There were some days that he wished that he could be free, where he didn’t have to be king. And then he was struck with an idea.

 

Freedom was what he desired most.But it was the one thing that he could not have. So what would happen if he brought it to his castle? There were all kinds of people and animals out there that had the kind of life, the kind of freedom that he dreamed of. So why not invite them to entertain him and tell him the stories of what freedom, what life in his kingdom, was actually like?

 

He rushed off to his study and began to pen open invitations to the castle for the different denizens of his kingdom. Couriers were sent off across the land to invite the denizens to come and experience the wonders of the castle. Once the invitations were complete, he sent the couriers off, excited to actually have something to do to break the monotonous routine of his daily life. Now to wait for the lucky individuals to come...

 

This will be a 12 player basic game. It is my first time modding, but I think you will all be in for a treat. I would also like a couple of backups just in case.

 

THE RULES:

1. Role reveals and character reveals are allowed. Claim at your own risk.
    
   
2. Unless I have provided you with a QT, you may not communicate about this game with anyone outside of this thread.
    
   
3. Days will be 72 hours in length and nights will be 24 hours long or when all NA’s have been received. Adjustments will be made for weekends. Day 1 will not have a deadline set.
    
   
4. This is a hammer game. I stop counting votes and un-votes the second the hammer falls.
    
   
5. Please be active. I’m asking that you post at least once every day phase, but you should really be posting more than that. If something comes up, PM me and we can work something out
    
   
6. If you have any game related questions, just shoot me a PM. However, the only answer I will guarantee is PAFO.
    
   
7. Remember that this is a game. If you employ tactics outside the spirit of the game, I will not hesitate to punish you.

11. I don’t care if votes are bolded and red or not as long as they are identified somehow. Be that pink, polka dotted, or plaid, I don't care. I follow along pretty closely, so be creative. However, you MUST unvote before placing another vote on a person.

15. This is the mod's first experience modding a game, so he is not guaranteeing that he will be perfect. However, he will be doing his best to ensure that this is as fun a game as it can be.

It's not going to be for a while yet - I'm still in the planning stages, tweaking roles and what not. And if a Disney game gets run between here and when I would plan to do my next one, I've got a backup game I've also been planning just in case.

I was just thinking about that myself, actually. I realized that at the rate signups are going, this is going to be going on right during the Fourth of July holiday. And I don't know about all of you, but I think that could be a detriment to the game, considering how many people like to go on vacation and stuff around that time.

 

Would waiting until after the holiday week be better? Because I can do that, or I can go on and adjust deadlines and stuff.

I probably wouldn't start it until the 9th in the event of waiting until after the Fourth. Because it's on a Wednesday, and usually people are travelling the day after and it doesn't make much sense to me to start on a Friday with a weekend just around the corner.
