to bring this up again, i dislike the soft claim and alignment reveal with no pressure. the scum talk was obviusly done jokingly, yet Ishy flet the need to correct this. FoS

I can't think of a Jester-type character from the FF universe.

 

Maybe the two twerps that worked for Queen Brahn in Nine, but that's it. And as inconsequential as they are, I can't see them being cast in this game. I don't buy Jester, sorry.

While I do think that Alannalynn is acting squirrelly even for her in this game, we can take a logic approach.

 

If we can narrow down each of us onto smaller lists, we can begin to narrow down who is scum. It appears that this game follows the standard FF cannon (ie. Cloud is likely town in this game) so we don't have to mass reveal who we are, but we can reveal what FF series we are from, to break down who we are.

I will consider revealing which game you are from as one of the 3 reveals per day. The reason for this is one of my last games almost broke due to a mass reveal, and I don't want that to happen here.

I contend that we are all either playable characters from the series OR major bosses from the series. My character is town and from FF XIII and I am one of the playable characters from that series.

 

Why is Red opposed to any kind of reveal, even if its only the series we came from? Perhaps she's skurred we might find her scum?

major ping. i know Kae retracted this rule, but time stamps will show that soon after Kae stated this, Mynd DIRECTLY posted info that would count as a reveal. as you'll see in subsequent quotes he later went

 

"oh-em-gee, i didn't think THAT was a reveal" this is why i called bullshanks on it and still do! its less the reveal and more his intentions with the reveal, which i feel were to waste our 3 alloted reveals per phase. as i previously stated, i feel wasting our reveals in this fashion benefits the scum more than us.

 

 

Not being dumbass, I just disagree that it's in anyway a big deal. We get three a day. And if Mynd and I used one each (which I still don't know if it's true or not) we still have one. What would really be dumbass is not using tools that Kae gives us. She gives us three a day, we should use three a day if we want. Not using what she gives us would be the same as the Cop not viewing anyone. Get over it people. Quit crying.

I don't believe we should use our reveals willy nilly, but we should use them if we need to. To just let them rot wastes a tool we can use to narrow the field.

the type of mass reveal Mynd was arguing for IS using the reveals willy nilly. and this is not a tool to be used but a RESTRICTION placed on us by the mod to discourage revealing.

Ishy had no reveal, Mynd did, we cannot use his reveal as a scum tell because he didn't know he was revealing. But he does seem defenseive, FoS on Mynd.

I had a few comments but my brain got confuddled, so I'm responding to what I remember... I haven't started my notes yet. *sigh* But I feel like I'm surrounded by my kind of people, with the game talk, so that's nice.

 

Also people, why the freaking heck would I flat out say that I'm mafia even if I was or wasn't? That's some stupid stuff to start on. I was only commenting on the likelihood of not being mafia within four games that I'm currently playing. I've gone streaks of seven games before without landing myself a scum role. Just so that is cleared up, savvy? And I'm not squirrelly, Mynd, I'm just not reacting to Day 1 shenanigans that could get me killed. FoS Rand for jumping on my train for absolutely no reason.

 

Mass game # reveal? Mynd, who says we're going to be grouped in any exact way? I don't see how knowing our games will help anything, and I believe that wasting reveals, and potentially backing a lynchee into a corner because they can't reveal is a little backwards.

 

I love FF II, VII, IX, and X-2. I haven't played past X-2 because of high school and college. lol.

Not going to question the Mod, but I think telling what FF game you were in is a far cry from outright revealing. Still, I will conform to the rules. I do beg the Mod to consider my "reveal" as null in light of this not being clear and wide open to misunderstanding. I'm sure many would agree that saying one is Rikku and saying they are from FF X-2 is a lot different, so I would beg the Mod to give us a mulligan in this case.

 

 

Mynd stop gamming the mod. she stated CLEARLY that revealing what game your characters from counted as a reveal and you DIRECTLY revealed that info. i don't see how that coudl be a misunderstanding.

Alright, after reviewing I don't have much more to add to what others have said, but I agree that Mynd is the better lynch today for much of the reasons others have said. Mafia is more likely to defend a teammate on Day 1 than later in the game when bussing can be used easier.

@Darthe peace is essentially claiming vanilla now. You are claiming a role similar sounding to peace's now null role. So why would we risk lynching a potentially powerful role for the town. If we are testing your validity then we test it in the scenario that causes less damage if wrong

I've put my head on a chopping block to confirm a townie. Until my death or peaces we can use each other as a psuedo-mason team which is a nice bonus. If the dr decides to protect myself or him then we continue. This is a basic power play guys and either one of our deaths is now going to make the other that much more powerful or the town. I'm offering the town an opportunity. It doesn't matter to me how you all use it, so long as you do.
