Maybe we should just call this thread a spoiler thread so we don't have to keep putting tags.

But for now...

yeah

mike definitely adds a new element to things and I really like it

jesse always kind of follows walts lead but now there is someone even older and way more experienced with this game who is able to put walt in check and not lead jesse by the nose

granted that in last season jesse started to go his own way

Looked like it was probably bank account info. Not sure though. Walt always got paid in cash though, so I don't see a trace to him. Maybe it can be traced to Mike.

My father had a good idea about the computer, and coming from a guy who can not turn a computer on, it may be significant. His thought was "why would gus save all of that data from the multiple different cameras he had, which include 18 Pollos Hermanos chains, the super lab, the chicken farm, and his own home, on a computer easily traced to him, and would a laptop be able to save all of that data, I imagine it would be alot." My thought was "yeah it would make sense if all the cameras were a live feed with no back up". Wouldn't it just be Walt's luck that not only was there no incriminating evidence of the laptop, but in destroying it he unwittingly gave the DEA an actual lead to himself, and Madrigal.

As for the account numbers, I think they will be a direct link to Madrigal in Germany, and this is what will bring in the Lydia character.

You know...I was wondering myself if they had the wrong laptop

Mike I think said it was "in the back" and that makes me think it may have been a hidden laptop whereas the one that got put into evidence was just a normal work laptop

Seems a little far fetched though so maybe not

These days, yeah

All you would really have to do is dump the info on external hard drives once in awhile

Although having a live feed with no recording sounds a LOT more likely now that I think about it

Gus was anything but stupid and keeping evidence around is stupid

I edited the title

BG is right it is the 5th and final season and it has no books attached to it

People should really only be reading this thread if they've watched the series

It seems like he intentionally poisoned him. Whether he meant for it to kill him or not is unclear. He definitely intended for him to be hospitalized.

Agreed. Walt has started to go off the deep end and is becoming more and more willing to do whatever it takes to survive.

So Walt's starting to make my skin crawl, that last scene with him and Skylar was so creepy it made last weeks ending seem like a loving family moment. All and all I thought it was a decent episode. I enjoyed the focus being on Mike throughout most of the episode, the man is just a total BAMF. Although I think he broke his rule, and took a Half Measure when he let Lydia live. As for her character I am still not sure if I like her or not, the scene in the restaurant with Mike was a bit much. I dont know if the writers are trying to show us that she is a clueless as Walt used to when it comes to illegal meetings and drug deals, or if she is a Gus in training. She definitely does not mind getting people killed.

I wonder what kind of foreshadowing it was or if it was a red herring. But the movie Mike was watching was Caine's Mutiny. It was the scene where Maryk takes over command of the ship from Col. Queeg, a mutiny in the middle of a typhoon.
