Whoa, that was fast. Sorry all, I was back home for the weekend and had limited Internet access.

Always fun lynching the Ape. Did he give away Cult-leader Crusher on the way out of the door or was that a WIFOM?

Not sure. He did go after crusher pretty hard early on.

Might have stopped pushing it when he got recruited.

Too funny. You guys killed the ape without me? Forgot people play weekend here. LOL

Vic he pretty much he accuses everyone of being something on his way out. He picked you first. Lynch you tomorrow and if your not cult me the next day. Seems fair.

Maybe all the JN people will get killed off and then the focus can shift to my awesome game. lol.

Holy crap, I missed a whole day phase. How unusual for a weekend. Ah well, the Spider is dead (hate him with a passion) and the Ape was a culty bastard. *nods* And Littlefinger to boot. How highly amusing

Interesting. I think we would be best served finding possibly cultists by looking back at apes posts where he creates a list of his suspects. Typically quick little throw away suspicious are usually a distancing tactic by him at that stage.

DM is in performance mode due to the sudden influx of people to the site. It's cos there was just an announcement about the final book.

PMs I don't miss too much. It's having to trek through all the boards and sub boards to try find my threads. Takes bloody ages

But it should be back soon

A relatively quiet night passes. Only one of you is found dead in the morning. The body has been hacked almost to pieces, but you can still recognize it.

aemonkristen, Cersei Lannister, Roleblocker, Backup Faction Leader, House Lannister has been killed.

Aww. Poor Aemon...

I had you pegged as a Lannister D3 though. Maybe one of these games we won't be on opposite sides. Would be fun not to have to want to kill you.

Except that it's pretty obvious he was lying about being recruited, since he was the recruiter... which unless my research fails me, is equivalent to the cult leader.

He may have been telling the truth about who he tried to recruit, though... and that puts Leelou and PatsFan squarely on the hot seat... since he tried so hard to push Vic down our throats as the cult leader in his last ditch effort to derail his lynch, I'm guessing that was probably a complete fabrication. Perhaps Despo did block him N2.

I'd be OK with voting Leelou or PatsFan to try to eliminate his recruits if that's the general take on the best use of the day... However, I'm also very interested in trying to root out some more Greyjoys, and finding the Lannister's NK.

To that end, I'm going to Vote: Razen, as he replaced Soy, who dropped a very blatant hint about being a Greyjoy D1 -- which ended up getting Tina lynched. He's also made it clear his faction has a QT... and then jumped right on Despo's suggestion that there might be faction recruiters within the house factions:

All the fuss that is being made that the Lannisters have a QT and that you are trying to find out which people have QTs and which don't and basing your conclusions on that fact. You automatically assume that "X can communicate, therefore, X is a threat to my team". Not so true. We are on Day 3, with one faction for sure that we know can recruit (the cult) and other factions that people suspect of having a recruitment role. If we assume that this is true, then each faction could have potentially submitted 2 recruitment requests, meaning that people's factions could have changed between teams over this time period. If we assume that recruitment roles are in every faction, then doesn't having a QT actually DISADVANTAGE you? I say that because you have no idea who has been recruited by what faction, and if someone that you are supposedly "teammates" with is recruited by a different faction, yet still can communicate with their old teammates, you have chaos. How do you figure out where each person's allegiance truly lies? Alliances in the land of Westeros are always changing, and the movement of the players in this game could reflect that. After today, it's only going to get worse. Today's friend may indeed become tomorrow's enemy, and vice versa.

We've seen no indication this is the case - Wombat explained how the Night's Watch recruiter role was meant to function, and obviously the cult could recruit - and in fact it seemed most people thought Despo was engaging in wild and senseless speculation with that idea.

Clearly, he's trying to discount the idea that those who have a faction QT are a threat to those of us who are a part of houses who cannot communicate. The only ones we've seen so far, however, are Lannisters and Greyjoys, who are enemies of everyone except the neutral and unaligned, which appear to be very, very few.

I'm going to agree that it is likely at this point that Razen is either a Greyjoy or a Lannister, which of course means everyone wants to jump on their wagon.

vote Razen

I agree, vote Razen. Voting you for the reasons I did the other day. (found below)

I will be taking a 6 hour road trip today, so I might not see what happens at the end of D3 because I will have no internet access this afternoon.

As for my vote, it is staying on Thorum for the time being. As stated by several people, a lazy vote three days in a row screams to me of someone not caring as to who they see killed, meaning that they are either unaligned or cult. Those are the only two roles that would make sense to me.

But I am open to a Leelou/Crusher vote as well. Dropping the hint that she would like to vote for me because she says that I can talk to my faction...

Right now, I like my vote on Thorum.

I could change to Razen for his comments about factions making it seem that he can talk to his faction.

Anyone else have anything to add? Every time this guy posts, its heaping pile of setup conjecture and theoretical assumptions that he can't and won't substantiate.

If you were doing half the reading you claim to be doing, you'd have known it was Vic suggesting I was cult, then again suggesting Thorum was cult. You'd have also realized that you are voting me, but then agreeing with the case I was making at teh time about Vic.

You may have also noticed the whole bit about Night Watch having a different win condition, and having a recruiter. You aren't playing the game based on the facts we have. You are playing it by filling in all the cracks between the facts, and nothing you are saying is vetted by fact, logic or reason. You are just making shit up and trying to convince people they should accept what is marginal probability, as fact.

Those of us that are in the know call that SWAGGER. Despo, who Ive nichnamed Dynamic D, has it. My only wish after this game is he will come play at JN.

Des has lots of swagger.

ROFLMAO @ bacon sizzle

Is Ape dead yet?

HAHA!

Crusher, is JN broken?

I would much rather lynch Thorum today.

I think we should kill you, since you also echoed my defense of Nolder - and so did Leelou. If you flip scum, then Leelou most surely will. See... I've got this theory about you and her doing a little chatting outside the game thread.

...and the fact that she's doing a LOT of cozying up to Crusher and echoing a lot of his statements. Teammates? Strong possibility. And why suggest voting for me for the reason that I can communicate when it's clear that you can communicate off thread as well? The fact that they are probably teammates means that one is as good as the other, IMO.

Bolding mine.

The first bit wasn't a hint. I'm quite tempted to vote you for the fact that it seems more and more clear that you can talk to your faction. I find this to be dangerous since it is likely you belong to a faction with a killing role. I've mentioned a few times that I cannot talk to my faction. LOL I'm echoing his statements? I said before going back and reviewing that I was leaning towards and Ape vote, but Thorum's voting pattern warranted my vote. Actually, you know what?

Unvote, vote Razen
