Also, your ability has not been proven. If you aren't cult, it is extremely convenient for the real cult that your ability can't be used on the same person twice in a row (a cult leader would not target the same person twice in a row) and can only be used the day after it is given. If he is actually cult, my guess is he was converted N2. Either his Beric claim is true, or he's a Lying Lannister like most people seem to suspect.

I'm more than willing to vote Ape today, because as I see it there are 3 outcomes:

 

1) Fex is telling the truth and he was converted to cult (probably N2)

 

2) Fex is lying, which puts him on the chopping block... and we find out either

2a) Ape has been lying to us, which helps finger some of his teammates, or

2b) Ape has been telling the truth, which would give some validity to his claims of being framed for the NKs, and at worst we've lost an unaligned survivor, which hurts nobody else. Sucks for him, of course.

 

But first...

 

Question for Fex: What made you select these 3 as your targets to investigate? Why Ape instead of Vic, for instance? Why did you suspect Christine on N1?

Um, I even explained in the parens in case someone didn't get it, but I guess I'll explain further. As I understand it, a Cult has a recruiter (called the leader). Every night, the recruiter chooses a player, and that player is recruited into the cult. Once that person is recruited, there is no reason to target them again.

 

His claim is worded in such a way that if he were tracked or watched, he could tell the truth about who he targeted were he cult and not contradict himself. Additionally, his role is such that the people he targets will confirm he is telling the truth about what he is doing. He has to provide no information of his own, and his target being recruited will confirm that they received what he gave them. However, this is a faction game. Why would you not shoot?

 

Leelou confirmed he has a gun, but did not use it. This means that either Ape and Lee are telling the truth, or Lee is Ape's buddy.

 

Also if Fex is lying we would be stupid to trust him again, so if you are telling the truth... Congrats, Fex, you lynched an unaligned survivor.

But I'm not the cult leader. Think about it. I was telling the truth about the gunsmith ability, I gave TX a gun last night.... But was also converted last night. I gave out my last gun... If you guys were smart you'd lynch Vic, then let me be NK'ed. Obviously Vic is cult leader... Look at the big picture. I have no chance at winning, but look at the info you have... Make the smart play. I'm so frustrated by the illogical play here I want to see you guys at least do it right, no offense meant.

I'm a bit bent about beeping recruited, he doesn't care about the game and frankly knows he has no shot at the win here. So, you guys might as well be shown the right course of action... IMO. Consider it a free lesson for the mafia tutoring thread that Vic and JF80 spider bombed.
