MCS refusing to rebuttal a case against you = throwing in the towel. especially since your still at L-1 and are still refusing to fight to stay alive.

i'm not manipulating your words, thats honestly how i see it.

These are what I consider to be the scummiest looking posts from Lev/MC but to me, I don't see why they are overly scummy. I think other people's posts have been worse.

Oh, okay.

Well, good thing I'm nothing special, anyway.

Defeated attitude.

Well, regardless, I don't really quite know what to say. I didn't see my reaction to the third vote as especially over-the-top, but you believe what you want to believe, I suppose.

Whatever response to Wombat's vote.

...

Well, looks like the bandwagon has spoken. I don't even know how to defend myself at this point. Have fun with your mislynch, kiddies. As I implied before, you're not losing anything important.

More defeated attitude.

That is some very interesting stuff Nolder. I can see the validity in what you're trying to say about Wombat. He's one of the few who stuck out to me in my reread, especially his tricky post in Day 1 where he justified his vote on Levity because she simply responded to a third vote, which is usually what starts a bandwagon soon after. Sure, it can be said that it was Day 1, but all of the votes on Levity at that point had been just because. Loki with his third vote did say something about making it interesting, but it was Wombat who gave the first, while brief, accusation of the train at that point. This is not to say however that I believe he is scum, I'm just explaining that I can see where you're coming from. And I've never played a game with Maw, so I don;t know what to think about him yet. To summorize, good points, but nothing that would make me jump.

Kinda wishy washy.

I'm not comfortable putting my vote on you however, based on the nature of your words.

I'm a bit confused on this

could you elaborate?

Of course. Maw's most recent statement made me think of two possibilities as to why he said what he did.

1. That he is town, and is playing the sympathy card to shake the votes he has off of him.

2. That he is scum, is trying to do the same thing as in #1, and/or is trying to enact a mafia tactic of some sort wit the post.

I'm leaning toward #2, because if the first line in the post is supposed to justify the last, it makes no sense. Why wouldn't you just ask for a replacement then in that case? However, I'm not yet sure that my choice is correct, and that is why I FoSed him instead of voting for him.

I don't think you're blue.

I'm with Nol. I'm pretty sure that it's a way of saying you don't think someone is town, but who was it directed toward?

Expounding on his earlier FoS of Maw. Doesn't want to commit to it yet.

Mcs is nudging the Maw train.

If you mean nudging as in trying to make him receive more votes, that is not the case. I'm being cautious in my decision to vote for someone, which I think is perfectly acceptable with 2 RL days remaining. While it is an interesting thought, your brief and undeveloped theory has no traction. Maybe if it were closer to the deadline it might mean something, but I'll have a vote on the board by then.

This was my first analytic post in the thread, which addressed what I thought about some of your activity in D1. Feel free to keep adding to it (reasons that I might come to think you're scum).

Adequately defended an arguement against him I think.

Screw it. I was going to do this here anyway before I saw your post. I wanted to get a answer out of you before I did it but I've changed my mind. VOTE MAW

Changed his mind as deadline drew nearer.

And don't anyone accuse me of randomly voting or not stating the reasons for my vote. You can actually find them conveniently located a few posts above where Locke quoted them.

Explains it for fear of looking bad... which people still accused him of.

Crap. Sorry Maw. But because of this I now have a better idea of who the mafia is. I know that I played a big part in building a case against Maw, and I was wrong about him. But don't look at me. Look at the people who were quite inactive other than their vote, who didn't explain their reasoning well or just cited someone else's, or didn't explain their vote at all.

These are fair arguments but we still know he did build a case on Maw earlier, as did Nolder, as did some others. I tend to think the bandwagony votes are more suspect as well.

Sorry if that's the way you feel Boyo. I was just being honest.

I always find it suspicious when some one blatantly states "I'm not evil... So no need to investigate me, I'm a honest trustworthy guy, you can believe me."

That is not what I said. I was defending my actions from the day phase. Watch, I can extrapolate bull crap just like you. You must obviously be scum, because I find it suspicious when someone tries to blatantly flip what someone is saying on them. See? I can come up with random unfounded accusations too. It's not that hard, but it this case was feigned on my part. And it's kind of funny how both you in red somewhat fir into the category I described. Oh well. I'm sure that's just another coincidence.

Soy's argument doesn't make sense since as a general rule, especially if there is a lie detector role, but in a game this size I can understand where he is coming from.

In any case, MC defended himself.

I'm not going to vote for anyone yet because I haven't figured out who I want to put my vote on. I'm not convinced that anyone who has voted for me is mafia at this time. What is apparent though, is that there are scared townies, and advantageous mafia. And by the the way Aiel Heart, I'm a vanilla townie. In a basic game like this the majority of the players are vanilla townies. With the statistic possibility of three mafia, a cop, and a doctor, you have a 7 to 5 majority of vanilla townies.

Nothing to see here but the official vanilla claim hinted at by Lev earlier.

So some odd happenings, but nothing I think worth a lynch originally.

I'm not pulling a defeated townie routine Red. I AM an almost defeated townie. You seem a but desperate don't you.

no not desperate, i just dislike it when a player throws in the towel like that. you threw in the town when you only had 1 vote on you, so that excuse doesn' hold water with me.

Please SHOW me where I did that. Especially considering I had a second vote on me from Wombat before I even could respond to your initial vote.

yeah, sorry i see where you had 2 votes on you at the time. my point still stands, it's 5 to hammer and the deadline isn't until friday. 2 out of 5 votes does not equal a "defeated townie". if you are a townie you wouldn't give up after only 2 votes. reguarldess on if your roleless or not, #'s are just as important to us as they are to the scum; so yeah, any "townie" who admits defeat like that and throws in the towel that early will ping even more.

especially considernig your comments about Maw D2. and not to mention not even half the posters had posted for D3 at that point and chimed in.

MCS refusing to rebuttal a case against you = throwing in the towel. especially since your still at L-1 and are still refusing to fight to stay alive.

I NEVER claimed to be a defeated townie, especially not then. Earlier today I said I am an ALMOST defeated townie, as only one more vote would lynch me. I have not admitted defeat, and you are wrongly extrapolating that from what I have said.

guys just posting this. i'm taking a LoA from the Mafia games for the christams as i'm flying up to Maryland today (4 hrs togo!!) to spend x-mas with my mom. i'll be chekcing in and keeping tabs when i can, but i'd rather spend as much time as i can with my mom.

MCS/Levity have seemed... well "volatile" the entire game and it's pinging me. I'm gonna stick with my vote for the time being.

So for now....

(btw the name of this one is "watch drama" :P )

I still don't understand what it is you want me to comment on so if you could make that clearer that'd be great

mainly your play style change D1 and your reaction to the Levity lynch. how you didn't want her lynched, then the reluctant vote for her lynch.

those were both explained but I'll do it again for you

Day 1 I just didn't want to deal with

so I didn't

that's all there is to that

I was busy with other mafia games and other things IRL and I just was not interested in dealing with Day 1 craziness

Levity I want to play with in a forum game for once where neither of us die or are inactive Day 1 because I know her from Epic Mafia

it hasn't happened yet

I jumped on her train because I didn't want the lynch to go random

Posted

also it's kind of hard to have activity when half the people in the game aren't voting

guess I'll bandwagon just to get day over with

sorry Levity, maybe another game

Unvote: Aiel Heart

Vote: Levity

Meesh had stated that the deadline was now two days away, and with this game a hammer doesn’t end the day. He had apparently missed that in the rules. Still didn’t change his vote, said he’d be fine with bandwagoning onto someone else. And then stated he wasn’t putting much effort into D1

as a matter of fact I did miss it in the rules

I don't remember when but at some point I made a comment to Meesh about the deadline via IM and she corrected me on how it worked

Imo, if a power role is about to be lynched, and they don't reveal, then that's on them...

a good point. Nolder just begged us not to vote him and said he’d pay attention but never revealed or even hinted that he was important.

I don't plan on revealing anymore in games unless the situation calls for it

being lynched rarely calls for it

Just want to bring up this little encounter again. I’m still not liking how Nol started that argument then avoided most of Mawth’s response, but simply mentioned that there had been competing trains (and there had been three, not two like he said)

I made a mistake so there was no point in arguing about it with Maw

his words were no longer directed at me and were unimportant

I wouldn't have responded at all but the trains thing caught my eye

Posted

alright game on

you guys wont regret this (well maybe if you just prefer Ama over me...then yeah you will)

come daybreak you have my full attention and effort

You've since provided 1 note worthy post... step it up Nolder.

I know right?

working on it!

Disneyland took a lot out of me

was up for 20 hours iirc

Posted

I'm guessing Nol never caught up lol I should have my vote in by the end of today(RL time), if I can figure out who I want to put it on.

doing it now! sorry!

Posted

So BG attacks everyone on the MCS train except Boyo? Looks like MCS, BG, and Boyo as scum with probably a little dissension on the quicktopic.

I'm not seeing this at all

Posted

ok I'm fully caught up

again, sorry that took so long

after reading BG's post I can definitely see a Red/Wombat team being possible (I was already suspicious of Wombat anyway iirc)

Red always irks me because when she gets really aggressive she tends to start putting words in peoples mouths but she'll do it as townie too so it's a nulltell most of the time

I think I'd like to pursue Wombat and see how it pans out

Vote: Wombat

Did you get my hint?

UNVOTE: VOTE MCS As I stated earlier I was suspicious of both Lev earlier and also MCS. It appears that a Nolder lynch will not happen.

Why are you suspicious of me Turin? And does that necessarily mean I'm mafia? My being lynched will only improve the mafias winning streak.

Well, either way, I think this lynch will have info.

Yeah. Info that the mafia are continuing to covertly terrorize people into voting the wrong way.

For now I will VOTE WOMBAT, who has given such cryptic and murky answers for gunning against Levity and myself since Day 1. Other than voting for myself, this seems like the only viable option at the moment. However, my vote could very well change depending on what happens during the rest of the phase.
