I didn't say it's wrong. Refer to my second post: "I also agree with pressuring people when I play mafia. Being totally nice all the time doesn't get us anywhere."

 

If you have a better idea, do tell. I do think that there's at least one scum sniffing around me right now - perhaps Key is mafia after all? Song, what do you think of McClane?

I tried to 'prove' its pro-town-ness because you asked me to. You can't ask me to do something and then be skeptical because I do it for you. I am owning my initial statement - every line of the latter post supported the previous one.

 

I don't see how you think that I thought the only positive gain would be that person admitting to being scum. I said she wasn't going to do that; I was not arguing that it would be a positive result of being wagoned.

 

Do you recognise the problem that I have seen, that of our inability to contextualise wagons with roles? You do not seem to, judging by your post.

I think Panda, that you pointed out the obvious about this setup - but are positioning it as a dilemma where we can't contextualize vote trains without learning alignments. That dilemma is the premise of a non-coroner game, its not news to anyone. Which is why you almost seem like your role-fishing for the coroner... I mean what would you like us to do?

 

IMO in a game like this, you play mafia as you normally would on D1, yeah, you have less info, but that's the point. Then when the person with the coroner role has accumulated a beneficial amount of info / evidence, they come forward and provide context... but there's no reason the coroner should poke their head up this early.

 

Perhaps I don't get where you are coming from, as you seem to only be pointing out the dilemma, not offering a solution, and then FOS'ing those that don't see it exactly the same way as you.

Where do you get the bolded from? I would think that the now focus on you (*if* there even is scum sniffing around you) would possibly mean that Blackie is. Votes had started to turn toward him when you got called out for your wishy-washy post about the vote on me.

Hmmm... I rather capriciously jumped on the Key train just before, and now I'm thinking about it. What are we trying to achieve through such pressuring? She's hardly going to crack and confess that she's mafia. That happens occasionally but not often. If we took it to its likely conclusion, we'd force a claim out of her at L-1, see if anybody counterclaimed, and judge from that whether or not to lynch her. And since it's not a coroner game, we wouldn't even find out what she really was unless the coroner decides to share. (Coroners can also be killed. This is why I hate no-coroner games.)

 

But I don't have a better idea.

Kisame relished this opportunity to test his prowess against so many shinobi at once...He knew that thew would have to be some very powerful ninja among them and his sword was hungry for there chakra! Rushing forward he made several seals and summoned huge waves and water dragons to crash down upon them..The rushed in for the melee battle. Might guy jump forward to meet Kisames sword.. He opened up his 6 gate...and they crashed together! Naruto leaped into the air making a rasenshurikan to smash into kisame's face...He barely noticed a group of ninja who had left the man group and were not looking to get involved in the fighting...We they cowards or the enemy??? He didn't have the chance to decide. Kisame had eluded Guy and had prepared a water dragon to meet his rasenshurikan...BOOM....Lightning flickered around the air like a snakes tongue.. Naruto looked down his body had been badly damaged by their attacks..Kisame grinned at him! Then Naruto grinned and pointed! Kisame looked down at his chest where two hole went through his chest. One had literally blown out his backside. and the other took out his heart....Kisame collapsed and the injured Naruto clone disappeared!

No excuse now; it's smack-dab in the middle of the 3 and I read through the longer one no problem. XD Going back over it now. Okay, after a reread, I'm going to take back what I said about there being better choices than Key. However, I still don't like the reasons given so far, which are "big game hunting" and "deflecting attention from herself." Those are crap reasons.

 

No, I think Key is pretty suspect based on how eagerly she jumped on the first competing train to crop up after the Nolder fiasco started. And how she kept trying to deflect attention from Nol and onto other targets. I just don't like that.

 

She's my top choice for scum at the moment.
