Right, speculating makes it hard to figure things out. That's why I think it would be helpful to tell all. But I can understand you wanting to wait. I want others to weigh in on the idea first too.

Also, I think we might have an SK or a vig. That's the only way I can come up with that explains Wombat's death. What do you all think of that?

I am the Vig. I was intentionally ambiguous about my role because I hoped the mafia would think I was the finder and target me last night--I'm glad you picked up on that too, Kae, because I'd rather be alive than dead. XD

 

Since Kae protected me and only my shot on Wombat went through, the mafia must have targeted me like I was hoping.

 

You guys are probably wondering how I vetted Kae, being a Vig and not a finder, but it's pretty self-explanatory. I shot her Night 2 to test her Doc claim (there was no way she wouldn't be self-protecting after revealing as Doc), and she's still alive, as you can see.

 

Night 1--I shot Tina, hit town (so did the mafia, apparently, but I was really confused at first when I saw only one death)

Night 2--Shot Kae, vetted her as Doc (this was funny, because my other shot option that night was Red, and the mafia targeted her too XD)

Night 3--Shot Wombat, hit scum

Sorry guys been busy playing Skyrim. I think our game died a little bit over the weekend here...Some Night Actions were not sent in. Due to the fact that that kind of sucks and that I really am not in the mood to write a scene right now I am going to extend the night. The new deadline will be TOMORROW (Tuesday) the 15th at 11PM PST. Please send in your Night Actions.

 

 

I think at this point it is safe to say we have probably 1, maaaybe 2, mafia left. So I don't see any issues to asking what happened last night and it will only hurt the mafia to get everything in the open and start looking for conflicting stories.

 

It is apparent that as of this post, some people had not submitted NAs. I doubt it was Meesh or Kae, also Amadine and Boops also chimed before this post, so that is good for them...

 

Wombat, scum, died. What happened? Could it be that the there was an inactive scum and they hit the deadline and the NK went to Random? Or do we have other things at play such as a redirector? Do you think this is a bad idea?

Okay... I am suspiscious of Amadine... again, because of her inactivity. But I am keeping my vote because I wanna hear what she has to say BEFORE someone comes along and hammers her to death. And it doesn't help that reading back I found Ley to be a very good target for death hammering. So... if she doesn't come defend herself soon, I'll vote her.

 

My problem with this game seems to be a large amount of inactive players. Since I can't very well vote ALL of them for trying to hide under the radar, I am disregarding it for now. Also, with all the replacements I get confused by all the different game plays for the same role. *wrinkles nose*

Weird timezone + full time job + family = lower posting rates than most others in this game.

 

It's so depressing to be constantly accused of inactivity in this game, usually by all the same people - who already are aware of the situation. If that is not scummy - trying to use me as a scapegoat - time and time again, i don't know what is.

Anyway, Ley's posting was weird. He's always appears scummy - i have never seen him play a game where he does not. To judge me by his scummy posts is unfair. I never attacked or angled at Meesh, BG, please point out where i did so. Meesh and i had a conversation about Kae. The suspicion was aimed at Kae - not Meesh, selective reading much BG?

 

And keeping an open mind to the unlikely prospects is essential in mafia. Ask around, find out what the Kivam Gambit is, or the Twofer Gambit. I do not take anything at face value in this game and i believe that worries you BG - hence you painting me as a lynch target.

 

Again - i had voiced my opinion of Maw almost from when i first entered the game - you are attempting to colour me scummy with a weak case and selective reading BG, but i see what you are doing.

So, as BG said there probably is only 1 scum left, but 2 isn't impossible either.

 

IF there are two, they would probably be Sakaea and Meesh.

1. Kae says she's the Doc.

2. Meesh clares that she vetted Kae.

3. Meesh says she's a Vig.

4 She tells she tested Kae (who is still alive) and that explains the vetting

 

If they would end up being scum, and Meesh wouldn't really be a Vig, Meesh would have secured both Kae and herself and nobody would suspect. Really clever plan if that would be so. So if 2 scums = most likely Kae and Meesh.

 

HOWEVER (so that they won't attack me again because of this)

 

It's much more likely that there is only 1 scum left. If that's the case, both Kae and Meesh are 100% safe. Their roles are so important that I'd rather not vote at them without heavy evidences. So right now they are low on my suspect list. Also, Meesh's role as a Vig would explain why Womby died.

 

I have no opinion of Ama so far, but I'm keeping an eye on her. Also I'd like to hear more of Wayward fool. So far his posts haven't really told me anything about his role really, and neither did Song's posts.

Amadine... You said this when asked by Meesh if you had other opinions besides Kae. You also started by saying Meesh wouldn't like your opinions.

 

The following exchange pings hard between you and Kae. She goes from a full FOS of you to agreeing with you in the space of a couple of posts. It feels.... contrived.

 

Sure it relies on Kae still, but you definitely included Meesh.

It's good that you're keeping an open mind, Ledinna; however, I do have to say that in a basic game there is pretty much no other way Wombat as scum would have died at night and nobody else. As scum I couldn't have organized that, because I wouldn't have known there was a vig at this point and they wouldn't want to work with me anyway. Also, there would have to be a doc in this game at least, if there were going to be 4 scum to start with, and they would have counterclaimed Kae by now, especially once I vetted her.

 

My point being, don't completely rule out any option unless you have info from the mod telling you to do so, but also try and focus on realistic ones as much as possible--there is pretty much no other way you can explain how Wombat died and why I led the lynch on Maw (and started one on Wombat first).

 

It's also very interesting that you bring up the possibility of 2 scum remaining--I'd been running numbers in my head assuming there were 3 to start with, but 4 doesn't seem far-fetched. Still keeping my eye on you, Ledinna. And what do you think of BG and Ishy? You haven't mentioned them.

You had given your thoughts on Kae (basically saying "If Kae weren't uncontested doc I'd vote her, but I'm keeping my eyes on her because she's uber-scummy"), and I asked if you had thoughts on anyone OTHER than Kae.

 

You responded saying "I do, but you are not gonna like them." Then you proceeded to say that the exchange pinged hard between me AND Kae, and that it felt contrived.

 

So: First of all, if that was JUST about Kae, then why would you say it wasn't just about her? That's called lying.

Second of all, even if you had meant it just about Kae, then how would it seem contrived? There can't be a contrived exchange between us without both of us being in on it.

 

I'm growing happier with my vote every time you post.

You're going to have to be a bit clearer than that--the "inferred implications" I picked up on, and that others did too, were that Kae and I were in cahoots or something.

 

Also, you still haven't addressed the issue of passing that whole case off as being about someone other than Kae at the time, and now saying it was all about her.

I don't wanna hammer Ama, but she is REALLY pinging me.

 

This being a basic game, means most people don't HAVE roles... ie, vanilla. Plus according to the rules... "You are not allowed to claim your flavor role, only your mafia role." so I don't know what Ledinna is asking of me.

 

I am pretty sure Meesh and Kae are clear. For one thing, they didn't have to kill Womby as a Mafia team. He was doing a pretty good job confusing town and whilst there were suspicions on him, he gets that practically every game he plays. I love Wombypoo, but he does annoy me sometimes. So killing him, whilst possibly a good Twofer Gambit would be quite pointless. Anyway, I was part of the Twofer Gambit creation and the only reason we used that was because the person we were killing off was on the verge of getting lynched anyway. I'm not saying they couldn't have adapted it to this play... but... *shrugs*

 

The only thing that bugs me about Meesh is how coincidental it was been as Vig that every night there's been only one death. *shrugs* But Night two technically was a clever move. *shrugs* The other two nights niggle at me. But I will let it slide for now.

 

In a basic set up like this, I really doubt there would be more than 3 mafia AND a vig. I am not 100% sure, but gut feel would be 3 mafia, a vig, doc and maybe 1 or 2 more roles and the rest... vanillas. 4 mafia and 1 vig would leave 7 townies. Which would be a bit imbalanced to me. *shrugs*

 

Also... can I check how long a person is allowed to be inactive before they get replaced? Ishy really isn't posted for a while. And I'm starting to think he's just hiding under the radar. Like I said, I get ocnfused when there are SO many inactives.
