Sorry... Maybe I should stop playing Mafia and go play with Duplos or something... I feel really stupid right now.

 

JLM, this is Maw's second game (his first in the BT mafia game), but he has played it in RL.

 

Yeah, I think I'm experienced enough that I should be able to deal with my mistakes. Thanks for sticking up for me though, jen.

nah don't worry about it Maw, it was just a friendly warning. i wouldn't stop playing Mafia over it though, now that you know about the PG13 policy you should be good. it's nothing to feel stupid about at all *hugs*

IMO Maw seems like an aggressive player that get things moving and he's getting lynched for it (whoa deja vu)

the mafia are taking a little comment about not really caring too far and getting an easy lynch off it

yes I did say "sup serial killer" but it was really just a joke

I think he could be a valuable player if kept alive

So, after re-read: Tina and I both have bandwagons for being agressive and trying to get a lynch going quickly. Well, Tina had one. Hoof and Ley switched to me after I became popular. Sakaea was just a joke wagon and is dying off. Sak's wagon was started by Ishy as a joke and perpetuated by Nolder. Tina jumped on it, presumably just to get a lynch moving. (This is where my observation that day one is mostly decided by luck stems from. I may have been slightly (okay, very) overzealous in defending that.) Tina's was then started by ley, who jumped on her for making a reasonable sized train out of a joke vote. Hoof concurred and leelou got a hypocrisy medal for doing the same thing that tina did, to tina. There was some more joking around, but nothing important. Then I arrived and joke voted ley, who yelled at me. I then voted Sak (or tried to. I did it wrong.), which got me further yelled at, and made my infamous speech about random day one lynches. Ishy voted me for it, closely followed by Verbal, who has not said much else. Sak voted me, Tina followed suit. Tina points finger at leelou again, albeit in a roundabout way. Ley and Hoof both joined my train at the same time. Either someone else has hoofs vote and is using it to kill people without drawing attention, or Ley has it. I am favoring the latter, because otherwise i think i would be dead from that other person's final vote. It is also possible someone who voted me early has it and was clever enough to move it a while after they voted for me. That brings us to here... Although nolder voted Sak again for no particular reason.

By the way, Red, you let me think of Ed, he also did that when I asked him. By the way, I think Maw meant that he unvoted Sakaea, and voted whoever else (I think TinaHel). But that's just what I think.

 

I never voted anyone else. You aren't the kind of person who just misses that. Are you trying to bring attention back to Tina? If so, why?

Anyway, it seems pretty up in the air who to go after to me. I think that i shall go with the person who seems to be stirring up trouble for anyone who is an aggressive player, though I am open to other suggestions. For now, VOTE LEY.

Why do you think Ley is controlling Blackhoof´s vote? Blackhoof didn´t vote before Sakaea and when I voted he just turned up between us.

Because you are at L-1, which is 6 votes, and there are 6 people voting you.....meaning that if Ley had the extra vote....wouldn't you be dead?

If you would calculate a bit, you could know I didn't have Hoof's vote, Maw. I live in the Netherlands. That is GMT +1. So it was 4 am in the night when Hoof's vote was given to someone. At 4 am, I am sleeping.

A scream come from one of the girls at Marcy’s unexpected appearance, she backed away from the grotesque corpse and huddled on the ground, hugging her knees to her chest and sobbing. Another woman went over to comfort her while the rest of the group watched; an uneasy conversation broke out. “So that’s one mystery solved.” Nol said in a matter of fact tone. Ishy looked at him in confusion. “What do you mean?” Sakaea spoke up from beside the woman she was crouched by. “He means about Marcy I think. She was with me when I was kidnapped; and by the markings on her forehead, I’d say she’s who is responsible for the rest of us being here as well.”

 

JLM nodded as she continued to hug her knees to her chest, still shook up from the car; her teeth chattered as she spoke in a timid voice. “I don’t know about kidnapping, but she was the last person who talked to me before that crazy driver ran me off the road.” Verbal narrowed his eyes, “Well the jerks that attacked me we’re in costumes, so for all I know one could have been her; she’s about the right height if I remember correctly. How many of you saw this woman on the day you were attacked then?” All but four people raised their hands, Mawthex nodded. “Then it’s pretty obvious what she said is right.” He pointed to Sakaea as he spoke.

 

“But what about the other attacker, Marcy was more like the bait in my situation. There was this big hulk of a guy there as well.” Ley spoke up from the back of the crowd, more murmurs of agreement rose up. “Yeah Marcy isn’t the one who attacked me, something hit me from the back while she was helping Zues.” Chrssy said, not able to take her eyes off the swinging corpse and her eyes tearing up while thinking of her dog. “Someone attacked me from behind as well. She didn’t tell me her name, but that’s definitely the woman I stopped to help.” Amega said, looking around the room at the group of people.

 

“What about the message on the board though, all that stuff about crimes and atonement and stuff.” Hoof asked, not really wanting to digress the embarrassing story of abduction. “I mean, we all know we were kidnapped right, so talking about how we got here won’t get us out of the room.” Tina nodded agreement, not wanting to think of how she went from being naked to having clothes on or what else the abductors might have done while she was knocked out.

 

Leelou spoke up, dragging over a chair. “He’s right; and the first thing I think we should do is take her body down. Unless the rest of you would like to stare at it until we get out of here.” Most of the group stood motionless, appalled at the idea of touching a corpse. Nyn stepped forward, “I’ll help you. If I lift her up a bit, then you can probably loosen the slipknot around her neck enough to get her down.”

 

A few others from the group stepped forward to help when they saw Leelou & Nyn struggling with the body, but after many minutes of work they were finally able to lay her body in the corner of the room. “I wonder why she kidnapped us, maybe she was being forced to do it?” Nyn wondered to herself aloud. Chrissy let out a snort of disgust as tears streamed down her face. “Who cares why she did it, the fact is that she did do it and if it wasn’t for her Zues would still be alive and we all wouldn’t be here.”

 

There was a shocked silence, and Verbal spoke up, “You mean she killed someone?” Chrissy shook her head, sniffling a bit and wiping her nose with the back of her hand. “Not someone, my dog. Zues and I were in the dog park when I was abducted, he’d disappeared for a few minutes and when I found him he was having a seizure. I think that bitch gave him something so they could kidnap me. I’m glad she’s dead.”

 

Leelou moved to comfort Chrissy and give her a shoulder to cry on, though no one said anything. At this point the clock had reached 24:05:00 and a loud buzzed went off; everyone covered their ears and some dove for the cover of the desks. “What the hell do you think that means?” Sakaea yelled over the loud ear piercing alarm, seconds later the sound went away, Sakaea repeated her question. Ishy shrugged, all eyes looking back at Marcy’s body warily. “I dunno,” Ishy warily said. “But I can’t think it will mean anything good is about to happen.”

The extra vote isn't just tacked on to your vote, as i understand it. You PM red and tell her where to move it. It is still recorded as hoof voting for the person in the votes list.. I think that I am at L-1 instead of L-2 because Ley (or some other, sneakier, person) added Hoof to my train. Although Hoof may have done it anyway.

to clarify on Hoofs controlled vote. the person controlling it PM's me with who they want to move it to and his vote will move to that person on the vote count next time it's updated. there is no mystery about it except for who is controlling it.

Sorry, forgot about this game. I still find Tina's earlier vote to be opportunistic and a bit scummy. She piled onto a joke vote.

Sakaea - PAFO. but if you guys let the clock get down to 00:00 on any day (Day 2 it would be 22:00:00) then it will result in random.org deciding who gets lynched. the clock is a type of deadline, but not one set in stone and is more like a motivation tool for you guys to judge how long you have before the mod intervines with a random lynch to keep the game moving.

 

 

think of the clock like the Motivator on the show Wipe out. you know it's comming, and you want to avoid it, but you just don't knwo whenit will motivate you to get a move on

Oh, so thats where you live... Been wondering that. But you have a good point. I forget when people are active and when they aren't. Stupid unassailable logic. UNVOTE VOTE TINA because she is the only other person who has anything at all going for them that i can see... Although that kind of makes me into a hypocrite. Also, what kind of bad things happen when the clock counts down.
