I can't really speak as to what he really meant or how sarcastic he was being, which honestly is the way I took it. As for being acceptable behavior in this Org? Not my call. I know the board has a PG-13 rule, which technically he didn't break. I learned a long time ago not to let anything that anyone says from the internet get under my skin. It might be the new yorker in me, or maybe the countless hours spent flaming and being flamed in turn, on RPG message boards, but again, that's me, your mileage may vary.

I don't care if it was sarcasm or not. He should not have attempted to include my wife into his attempt at humor. He does not know me well enough to have that kind of right to cross that barrier into my real life family.

I have zero say in what's acceptable here, I can't answer that question. Personally I wouldn't make a joke like that unless I felt I knew the person well enough. Obviously you don't feel like he knows you well enough, maybe he thought he felt comfortable enough with you to do, I dunno. You'll have to work it out with him and/or someone in charge. Like I said, I'm no authority, I just post here, man.

Then again, my husband is from this org. We got ripped on a lot, so I suppose I just got used to it.
