Not sure what joke I hijacked from Klacko, but at least its a joke... you should look into it.

This. Old. Man.

Um... that one?

And yes, I am well aware of what jokes are. For example, I know that you are a joke.

OOOOOHHH.... BUUUUURRRRRRNNN!!!

Are you saying you got worse? Pffft. Don't believe it. And I try to bring it every game.

Just realized this could be interpreted in a mean way. Lily, what I meant by that is that I believe you are a great player and have not declined in the slightest.

I am really looking forward to hearing John's answer to Alys' question re: the case on me. I don't want this to get buried in arguments or chest thumping.

Don't worry, he'll conjure up something based on who knows what and if it turns out he's wrong, he never really meant it and it'll have really just been a trap all along, but if he's right then he knew it all along.

That's only after he responds to this post to tell me what an old man and bitch I am. Blah, blah, blah.

Can we table this for a little bit? Jack flipped. We don't know when anyone else will or if they have already. The ones who can will when they feel it is advantageous. This leveling the playing fields shit is also known as a pointless conversation. Table it. Move on.

Now, John, do I have to call you a dick or a douche or something to get you to tell me how the hell your case on Verbal made any kind of sense? I asked you pages ago. Making a case is great, but make the case, don't post some bullshit.

Not ignored. I planned on responding to that when the day phase starts, cool?

Ahh, answers are nice. Thanks.

BTW, as of the post I am responding to, I have not read any further. I actually have to work for real some of today, so I might be awol for a while.

Life on Westeros is a struggle, especially in Winter, when the snows come and blanket the earth for years. But even in the Summer, life on Westeros is struggle. The struggle for power. The struggle for glory. The struggle for gold. And the struggle for life.

Even at night, even at this distance, you can hear it. The screams - of metal on metal, of rage, of pain, of terror - echo in your ears, driving you from your beds. Blinking in the light of the slowly rising sun, you stare warily at your fellows. They all seem to be there, though three of them look far more shaken, far less confident, than they had only yesterday.

Day 2 Has Begun. With 25 players alive, it takes 13 votes to lynch.

Note - yes, I just told you how many failed kill attempts there were last night. I won't tell you who was targeted, or who targeted them, but each night that a kill attempt is made and fails, you'll hear about it.

BG flavor of Ape-mockery is bitter. Very bitter.... lighten up homie, I'm not doing anything different than the usual. Like I told some other dude, I'll knock it off now that we are past D1.

So did all of our excessive posting finally break DM there for a while?

Nah, DM actually stands for "Doing Maintenance".

Why does everyone think that this is a lot of postig? By cracky, back in the day there were posts like locusts over Egypt. Why, I remember the time...

Just caught up and I think the case on Jack is trumped up to the extreme but then again it's day one so what do you expect? Like CTM, I read Jack's now infamous statement as a strategic/pragmatic judgment rather than a literal statement of win condition. The fact that the Ape has conjured a case out of nothing and is being supported by a select few on it means we get good info from lynching the Ape imo. If Ape flips Stark or Lannister or one of their bannermen, then we need to look at Adella, Far, and anyone else who is strongly supporting the Ape's case on Jack.

I'm still catching up. I never thought I'd see myself agreeing with Wombat, but I do agree with the bolded. Jack seems to me to just have been being his dramatic self, not talking as if he didn't know what the win conditions are.

I'll confess to being more than a little lost here. Not only is this a huge game, with players that make me look like a beginner, but the setup is non-traditional. I'm just being quiet and watching, mostly.

This is textbook Lily as scum, IMHO. Showing up after the lynch to "catch up," agreeing with someone, claiming to be lost and not a good player with an excuse as to why she's not posting much...

Here is a series of posts from Verbal around the time I was stating my case on Jack. Jack was stupid about details, but reality was, he was Lannister-aligned and if you look at Verbal's posts from amongst those pages - especially the bottom 2 here - you can see Verbal's subtle change of direction.

CTM also had to suddenly go "think about it" and went dark. My guess here is if Jack joined CTM as a Lannister, CTM probably shut his trap so as not to align himself with Jack.

Either of these 2 is a good lynch tomorrow, IMO.

<3

Ok, back to the game. At this point, I'm cool with lynching Jack. If I was a Stark or Lannister, I'd be worried he'd flock to the other side. If I was a survivor, I'd be worried that he'd fock to the opposite side that I did. And if I was cult, I would not recruit him due to his penchant for getting his butt lynched quickly.

And all that is if I actually believe him....which I'm not sure I do. Therefore, my vote won't be moving unless something drastic comes along.

Lulz you say I'm cluttering the thread yet you feel the need to respond to every post. Thus further cluttering the thread, but it's okay for you to do so.

I quietly voted you John, Barm asked why and I explained.

To go with your first option, what if your cult?

You didn't quietly vote me. You voted me, then in separate posts called me a "viable lynch candidate", a statement that had nothing backing it up, and you encouraged others to vote me. Nothing quiet about that, which is why I began defending myself. Defending myself forces me to have to respond to you, much to my chagrin.

I should have ignored you and let you chase your tail.

Since you've essentially told us you are going to align yourself with either the Starks or the Lannisters, lynching you is like pre-emptively lynching a faction member. Your eagerness to reveal as a survivor also resonates as an outcry to be recruited by cult. Basically, you reek like someone trying to find their way onto a team. So, based on your theories about the "game schematics" you'd make a fine lynch candidate.

Unvote

Vote Jack

I've got to spend time on work now. I'll read along, but I won't have time to play patty-cake with teh Jacktard.

Yes I'm going to join a faction. That's how you win. You win together or die alone. And now your voting me for the same reason I'm voting you. To kill a potential threat, or eliminate a member of a team thus influencing my choice of team I'd chose.

By siding with someone ape you don't become one of them, you become a banmerman. There is a difference

If you're a survivor and you join the faction that's losing you deserve to lose cause you're an idiot...

Gee thanks, Capt Obvious. It was more meant to be if a survivor joined the Starks now and then later on the balance shifted and Jack joined the Lannisters, which makes the balance even more shifted.

I'm wondering how many survivors are currently in the game right now.....

Jack seems to me to be a survivor cause he said some things that I was surprised he knew, as I originaly I thought i was "the survivor" as opposed to "a survivor"

Why would you think that?

Cause the first ting I read was my role and when I read my role I thought I was the only survivor.. it fit with my character

When you read your role, did you notice the win conditions?

I agree with you here, btw, which is why I'm voting for Jack.

I read that as being pragmatic.. if the lannisters go up in dead scenes, most survivors are goign to flock there.. and then Lannisters/banneran will aim all of thier fire power into the non lannister/bannerman pool of people. So in effect you'd lose if you tried to hang on till the end as a survivor.. either join the stronger side or lose, seems pretty practical to me

Okay, so you read Jack's omission of the full spectrum of survivor win conditions as pragmatic.

BUT... the fact that I revealed that I am a survivor and know there are more win conditions than what he listed, thus validating my reveal for anyone that IS a survivor, and you still leave your vote on me.

Interesting...

How does that validate? You even quoted the post from Kivam where he states it.......not sure what angle you're aiming for here, but you had to know you'd take heat for this comment....

So, this case I was hinting at on Verbal was based on the idea that he was a Lannister that changed his tune when he found out that Jack joined his faction. Since we found out AFTER I posted this FOS, that faction members won't find out when a bannerman joins them... its no longer relevant.

That said, the bold green line at the top is interesting. At the time, its possible that the HOUSE members didn't know they wouldn't find out when new bannermen pledged their faction... so Verbal's decision to vote Jack could have been motivated by the fear of Jack making it obvious he pledged and Verbal not getting notification that he joined his faction. So he voted him to make sure the other family didn't grow by 1.

Not enough to justify voting him... but I did find it peculiar when he said this, voted Jack and then essentially undermined a lot of the points I tried to make about Jack... the guy he was voting.

If slats is questioning his lady I have to think he's onto something here. I've seen Lily do this many times and then fly in shortly afterwards to say "Blah blah life". Pretty much happens every time.
