RULES

*Day 1 will have no deadline. Day Cycles will be a maximum of 72 hours and Night Cycles will be 48 hours. Day 1 will be discretionary.

*If Day deadlines are missed and a majority lynch is not reached, a random player will be killed.

*If Night deadlines are missed, you forfeit your action for that night.

*All votes must be BOLDED in the COLOR RED to count.

*There will be a full coroner report.

*Only the Mafia team can speak outside the game thread.

*You may not quote pms from the Mod, if you do it will be an instant Bolt of Modly Lightning.

*DO NOT EDIT your posts, to do so would be considered cheating, and will result in instant Modly Lightning! Double posting is acceptable.

*Unless you are gone on an LOA, you are required to post at least one post of substance within a game day to not be struck down by Modly Lightning for inactivity. Post all LOA's on thread and PM me, please.

*Spam to a point is acceptable. If it gets out of hand, you will get a warning. If you fail to ignore my warning you will be the recipient of a dose of Modly Lightning.

*Please only one blah post after death. Failure to comply will result in a post-mortem blast of Modly Lightning, because that's how I roll.

 

A village. It could be any village. It might even be your own village...

 

For those of you not living in a village, pretend that you are.

 

Upon His mighty throne, the Lord, Thy Mod looked down upon the world, and found himself bored out of his everlasting skull. Thus, he spake unto his attending seraph: "Dude. We need something to shake things up around here. Any good wars?"

 

The angel didst reply, "Nope, just the petty, stupid ones that we usually have, although there's a really interesting natural disaster going on over there."

 

The Mod on High waved His hand dismissively. "Natural disasters are boring. I want something fiery and angry and full of nasty nastiness."

 

Cringing inwardly, the angel didst speak: "Well, o Mod, there's a quiet village over there. Maybe a plague of locusts?"

 

The Lord Mod didst chuckle. "Too easy. How about something a little more... visceral..."

 

The angel didst weep.

A loud racket rouses you from a sleep filled with white clouds and a particularly sadistic-looking Being that seemed to be peering into you, the same way that a boy with a magnifying glass peers into an ant. The dream leaves you concerned, but it is not the first thing on your mind. You are more worried about the noise that disturbed your sleep. It sounded as if somebody had thrown a brick at your door.

 

Downstairs, you are treated to the unpleasant surprise of a butchered corpse in the middle of the town, mangled beyond repair. A crude sketch has been left on the square, drawn in blood: a man peeking over a drawn wall. Somebody has written 'Kilroy was here' with the man's guts. At the same time, you become aware of the cause of the racket: a severed body part had been flung at your door. Looking around, you see that all of your neighbors have had a similar experience that has drawn all of you from your beds. There is evidence of people fleeing the scene, and the disturbing part is that, while you are unable to track the culprits to their homes, they do not appear to have left the village. There are killers in your midst.

"Was that truly necessary, o Mod?" the angel didst inquire.

 

The Lord Mod simply laughed. "Did you see their faces? The guy in the flowery nightgown? Priceless!"

 

The angel didst sigh. It was going to be one of those days; it would be a miracle if the Lord Mod didn't strike down some hapless passer-by with Modly Lightning to watch them twitch. Being an angel sucked.

 

And then there was morning.

I think this is a bit premature. We need 8 votes, I think, for a lynch. Day 1 is notorious for joke votes, and Amega's vote on Christine was only the 2nd vote. If it had been the 3rd vote, I might agree with you. If it had been the 4th vote, I would definitely agree with you.

 

 

Christine's somewhat blind following of this FOS seems to ping on the radar, too. Christine shouldn't be getting nervous about votes this early in the game, with only two votes.
