Berf, I've never defended Moon. And to be honest, I never even took her post as an actual defense for me. That is what Jack would have you believe, though. As I explained to him in a post long long ago: to me, she was just stating the obvious - what everyone else picked up, but he didnt. She was basically saying, "Duh, Jack. Charis knows what happens at Night, just like everyone else here." And I think that was supposed to be the end of it. Had I known I'd be posting and re-posting responses to Jack about this very thing x-amount of posts later, I wouldnt have bothered to FoS him aloud. I'd have just voted for him and not given my reason. But, I know I'll look scummy if I dont give a reason, and apparently I am scummy if I do give a reason.

 

As for Moon herself, I've no reading. Her PR claim could be fake. If so, it's a clever one - straight from the film itself. And considering how many people were silent, I think there is some subterfuge happening. But is it Moon, Min, Wombat, Player or any of the other silent ones? This is what I dont know.

people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones Jack; doing some of the same things your accusing others of doing doesn't do very well for your credability or your cases. thats another reason why people are pretty much convinced your interests aren't in favor of the town.

as for the Name Change thing, Jack i suggest you read the DM CoC (Dragonmount Code of Conduct) to make sure your not breaking any rules concerning name changes or creating new accounts. as it stands, this is really an issue for the mods to check out rather than use discuss it in the game. but as an FYI, if you change your name you have to list your previous name in you member title for 90 days so long as it's Mod or admin approved. i only comment on this because it has been an issue sometimes here at DM.

 

 

as this issue doesn't pertain to the game, can we move on from it and focus back on the game at hand. like how Jack continues to try and beat a dead horse, and how Moon has yet to answer any of the questions posed to her since D1.

It looks like most of the suspicion on me was the WIFOM I posted.

 

Honestly, this was more out of exasperation at Jack_D, who seemed to be trying to tell us how to play mafia, hence me still seeing him as a jerk.

Now he's acting like he practically invented the game.

 

As far as my own defense, I find that the more I defend myself, the more guilty I look. And when I don't defend myself, I look guilty as well.

 

I'm not trying to get myself lynched.

 

Now for the disclaimer: I will not be on for most of this 24 hr period. I've got work/school stuff to worry about.

Moon - it does tend to be a burned if you do and burned if you dont situation; but thats half the situations in this game that you seemed to completely ignore it until alot of people pointed out the fact you were ignoring adn instead tried to focus your attentions on Jack (who i think is just trying to distract us anyways) says alot more than ifyour woudl have just addressed the questions right out of the gate. as town, i woudl have expected you to be biting at the bit to defend your situation and squash the case people have against you. as scum, a player is more apt to use the "Ignroe and hopefully they'll forget about it" technique. this last one is what you came off as doing to me.

 

 

it still remains that one of the most scummy things said in this game so far was you furthering the WIFOM and attempting to make myself look scummy wherther charis was NKd or not. it was a sweet little set up for the scum reguardless of Charis's alignment stunk of subtle manuvering. i don't like it and still dont tbh.

Moon - I wasn't telling everyone how to play and I haven't acted like I invented the game. I've gotten frustrated because I am experienced. I do know what I'm doing. People kept painting up as someone clueless. She that's not the case. Like Red for example when she said I never posted about a gambit until Charis informed me on thread exactly what a gambit was.

 

I wasn't telling Charis how to play. Charis said I looked bloodthirsty. I said their are several roles that could e excited for night. It's funny the first you suggest is scum. Then Charis said she is scared for night. I said why, someone is going to get nk it's what happens. You look like your putting up a front. Then you said she was scared because she thought she would be killed. Whichyself

And others picked that out as scum. You keep saying me, but several others saw it also.

the post below is the one i refer to and why i stopped reading what he posted tbh. when i read this over the weekand i was under the influence (Drunk Mafia is fun btw) and the initial response i had to this still sticks. i think his "cases" on this have more to do with perosnal feelings of the people on his lynch rather than game related reasons as to why in game he woudl get this assessment of the people he's pointed out. as i said, it was near personal attacks as far as i'm concerned, not out right personal attacks; but i could see it degrading quickly into that which is why i backed off him.

And because of that I have caused confusion. Where Red, who if she was as town friendly as she props herself up to be could have saved all the confusion just by answering it. Thus making her the fuel to the fire so she has caused as much confusion as I have. So the same basic principals for lynching me apply to Red.

 

 

CS - as to your other question about dissmissing him becuase i think he's a symp. playing into his game and allowing him to become the focus of another day is goign to help the scum more than help us imo. as Symp, his job is to take the heat off his team and allow them to sink back into the background by becommng the focus; which as you've noticed, he's done rather well. he's taken the focus off of Min & Moon and transferred it to himself. after all, as a symp, even if he's lynched but the scum wins, he still wins.

 

by continueing to argue with him; it just allows for us to waste another day on pointless debate and possible get another random lynch. also, argueing with him at this point woudl be beating a dead horse, as i'm not goign to change his opinion of me and he's certaintly not goign to change my opinion of him. if i was scum, i'd still argue with him to cause more confusion in the town; but seeing as i'm town aligned, i'd just prefer to lynch him and get the confusion settled.

 

 

i'd also be good with a lynch on Moon, or atleast alot of pressure on her. i don't like her avoiding answering the questions about the WIFOM she popped up with on D1, how she went quiet at the end of D1 (not just during D2, but as soon as people started pressuring her) as well as the other things people have questioned her about.

 

 

Min i'm unsure about, theres no info on her besides from D1, and i feel that Moon or Jack would give us more info right now.
