*grins* Alright, folks, it starts tonight at 9 PM EST on Sci-Fi. For those who haven't done so already, make sure you go to scifi.com to watch the ten webisodes and catch up on the rebellion. They even have a "teaser" peek at the new season up. While I don't normally watch those, I couldn't resist it this time. I was glad I did. Can I just say, Starbuck kicks frakin' a$$! :D

So, expect me to be yapping about this after the show is over. LOL Sorry. ;)

I mean, not really, but it sounded good, right?

Because he has a very convenient conscience. And Six, in his head, makes it worse.

I want to know why Kara can't keep her butt out of trouble? She is supposed to make trouble for other people. This is not like a night in the brig for brawling. I do love that Starbuck is a girl, though. I remember the first one. :)

*sighs* Yeah, well... that greasy head is just begging for a fresh bullet. Now that they killed 6 and are being hideous, all the more reason to put one in him. *shakes her head* stopping on that planet was a BAD idea! Damn Rosalyn and her conscience to hell and back!

so answer this... in the preview for next week, she says "are you a cylon?" and it shows baltar.

Soo.... was this meant to be misleading?

Either...

-He is a cylon and she was prodding to get him to remember

-He is not a cylon and she is just frakking with his mind

-He is not a cylon and they cut different scenes together to frak with OUR minds into doing exactly what I'm doing now.

so who do you think the cylon was that was revealed? From her reaction, I think it had to be someone either close, or in power... so a few likely's..

Madam President- She seems the most logical choice to me. The writers have not hinted at it being her at all, and they seem like the writers of CSI- where they don't show enough of the info to figure it out til just before the end.

Starbuck- I was thinking her... but then when her paintings were revealed, I wasn't so sure that such an obvious hint would really be so obvious if it wasn't meant to mislead.

Gauis Baltar- The obvious choice that we've all been wondering since the very beginning, and even more so when he started wondering it himself. Is he really a cylon?

Colonel Tigh- This would definately fit in with her apology... "I'm so sorry" (when she saw who the 5th cylon was)

Lieutenant whatshisname... Gaiden? Anyway, the ops guy who was Chief Tyrol's "informer" on New Caprica. I like him too much for him to be a cylon though.

A few people ruled out..

Helo- He had a kid with a cylon. nuff said.

Adama- He has a kid: Lee

Lee- He has a father: Adama

Chief Tyrol- He has a kid.

Callie- She has a kid with Chief.

OOOOOO

My thoughts...

It can't be Baltar, that's a little too obvious.

It can't be Starbuck, because the dr on Caprica was talking to her about having kids and not taking her uterus out, remember? Considering how close an examination that surgery would've taken, he'd have known she was a cylon.

It can't be Gaida (that's his name, btw), because her apology wouldn't really fit there.

So, I'm going to say it has to be Rosalyn or Tigh. And I hadn't thought of it, but I agree that her apology makes A LOT of sense if it was Tigh. If it is, he should be able to get his eye back, though... ;)

it could still be starbuck and gaida though!

They don't know who the final 5 are, and they wouldn't have been able to tell while operating since they are almost identical. And the clinic was destroyed before they could have finished testing.

Gaida would fit the apology because of how he was treated during the occupation.

Personally I am also leaning most towards rosyln or tigh though... mostly tigh.

I'm lost as to what exactly the final five are.

So if it Tigh, then the real one was killed or captured and replace by this one?

I also have another question. On another list, they are talking about the Battlestars names/classs etc.

Opinions vary. So do ya'll think there are only 12 Battlestars? Or is that ingrained in us from the original series? Also, is there different classes of Battlestars? Peagasus looked a lil different to me.

I don't think they've even discussed other Battlestars, except for the Pegasus and the one Adama was commanding on that black ops mission that got Bulldog in trouble. I can't remember the name of that ship (it was something horribly easy and I'll remember it later, but it's just slipping right now).

However, I don't think it's a stretch to think there are different classes/models of battlestars. It makes sense to me, given the way the military handles their ships and planes. It seems pretty close to BSG's handling of them...

I remember when the colonies get attacked you can hear chatter and other Battlestars giving reports and they name their names and other reports about which ones are destroyed. I'll look on that other thread and post the names that are 'known'.

From what I can find online there are 9 Battlestars mentioned in the series.

Galactica

Peagasus

Triton

Valkyrie

Atlantia

Rycon

Pacifica

Acropolis

Columbia

Other sources list

Olympia

Valian

Promotheus

Argo

Poseiden

Solaria

Cerberus

Beleeerophon

Someone mentions that the Peagasus was a Mercury class Battlestar and that the Galactica was a older class.

It is also mentioned that it is a myth aht there are only 12 Battlestars. The series creator even states that it isn't so. But on Sci-Fis homepage, a snipit of info on the Galactica says it is one of 12 original Battlestars. Perhaps the misconception is that the first class (orignal) had only 12 named ships?
