I get the feeling it's a forsaken acting without knowledge of the BA group.

Or some unknown power that is going to mess with us.

At any rate,

VOTE BLACKHOOF

Something just smells wrong there.

that is just unfair- you have offered no real evidence.

you do not convict a murder suspect because he "seems like a murderer", you wiat for hard, tangible evidence. my lynch will tell you nothing other than i am a naturally erratic player.

why do you want to lynch me? why do i seem scummy? please, people, tell me these things.

I agree that based on the post saying 'superiors' it is likely that we have two scum teams, and not a solo kill.

I'm not saying it is impossible or anything, but superiors obviously shows that this particular kill was done by another group.

Blackhoof, I already explained my reasoning for voting you before, but I'm not going to vote you this soon into day, because not everyone has even posted yet, and reactions need to be gaged.

fair enough, i suppose.

i find it weird how all these people voted me basically before i said anything on day 2.... scum coordinating against a suspected player, perhaps?

Posted

Blackhoof I think you stood out some yesterday - a lot of people stated they would be questioning you today. But to be fair - yes I agree that there should be some specific points to back up a vote on you.

Curt, Mav must have been part of a scum group.

Now we don't know how many groups there are, don't know what kind of other killers may be out there, but there is one thing we can be sure of: the group that Mav has been part of didn't get a NK because Mav wasn't on the lynch.

Krak: What makes you believe that Mesaana knows all the Black Ajah members?

By the way, isn't it too early to hunt for possible roles (rolefishing, anyone)? I'm being told game after game that I want to know too much about the rules, game setup and such. Phelix was lynched because he had been thinking.

you never want to role fish in a game if you're town. There's no one, but the mod, who knows what roles the mod used. Mafia role fish so they can kill the roles. Townies shouldn't even be wondering who has what roles. It doesn't matter. That's why you got in trouble the other game.

Wow a Black Ajah down, never thought that would happen ^^ that's awesome. And it does prove that there are at least 2 teams of baddies, as Mav wasn't on the lynch.

This post pings me big time.

Why?

*rolls eyes* He normally just votes and doesn't explain himself. People will ask him why and he won't really answer. I wouldn't really bother waiting until he does give one. Unless somehow he decides to prove me and everyone else wrong  It's actually how he got me, an innocent/neutral, lynched in T&Ms game. He said one of my posts were scummy, everyone decided to join him in a bandwagon, and he got me and my intertwined killed.

Posted

an effective strategy, i suppose, as long as no-one actually questions why you think someones post is scummy.

is that a tactic used by mafia? or just townies with nothing to go on? i wonder.....

I've been offline a bit longer than expected. Sorry for that. I'll try catching up (I've missed about half the game so far :( )

If there's a replacement eagerly waiting, you can tune him/her in.

I'll see if BG is still interested.

I think Aust's comment was the thing that has made this game start slowly - he wondered if mafia would jump to start voting because they had to get on board a lynch. I think just saying that, though it was obvious, has kept all the mafia from voting. They don't want to fall into that category. I don't blame Aust for this, because it kind of set up a neat trap. Maybe there's some scum hiding in that list of people who haven't voted? I don't know, but I'm going to vote Talmanes for now, for those reasons.

This stood out to me upon my reread. Drew's vote on Talm was pretty random; it kinda came out of nowhere. It makes more sense to me that the mafia would be among the first to vote after Aust's comment because they wanted to prove they weren't scared (a la meesh).

Also, earlier he called me out for bandwagoning on Aust. First off, two votes isn't a bandwagon (especially where me and Aust are concerned) and secondly, unless someone makes a major slip up, bandwagoning is a given on day one. With the amount of voting and unvoting and voting and unvoting that goes on, it's kind of suspicious to call anyone out right away.

Anyways, Drew pinged me most, so:

Vote Drew

In other news, Player and Tynaal are looking suspicious too.

Krak and I are dear old frienemies!

There was a lot of exchange between Drew and Talmanes yesterday actually and this stood out to me as well. One question though Krak - I saw the post of Tamanes voting you for 'bandwagoning' (which I agree was not a bandwagon vote) - did Drew also do that? Or did you mix those 2 up?

Posted

So did Talmanes - here's the quote:

Ok well since we still have no deadline I see no reason to bandwagon. Wombat is pinging me, but he always does, so I won' vote him just for that.

Right now Krak voting for absolutely no reason on a bandwagon bothers me the most, so I'll vote him tonight when I'm home and can use the code. Lol I don't remember how to use it on my phone.

What is interesting was after stating this, he went on to join the majority to achieve consensus even though he stated he didn't think Phelix was guilty. That's what started the back and forth between him and Drew.

Posted

Yeah, the only difference being Talm actually voted for me with seemingly no reason too. I don't really know what to make of it other than Day 1 shenanigans. Drew just pinged me more with his post.

I just wanted to say that I've been reading along, and I will post thoughts once I've had a chance to reread, later today. I started a very emotionally draining (for a hardcore introvert) job a few days ago and I haven't quite adjusted to it yet, so I wanted to wait till I had a day off to make a content-related post. So that's where I've been, at least. >.>

Krak, I voted for you, because at the time there wasn't much to go on, and since I didn't find Phelix scummy, I wasn't going to vote him while there still appeared to be a chance of lynching someone else. I can't multiquote on my phone, so I'll have to dig up quotes later, but I mainly voted you for voting with no reason, I don't remember whot it was you had voted for at the time, or how many votes they had, but it was just the lack of reason mostly.

Not the best reason for a vote true, but that is why I unvoted you shortly after when I found a better suspect.

So says the guy with a predilection for the letter 'W' and declarative posts of less than 20 words.

Anyhow Talmanes, Krak had voted for me in a little bit of a day one joke vote I think. He unvoted me as talk progressed - I thought it was pretty harmless.

So Krak, why are you finding Drew the scummier of the two of them, if they both made comments about your vote on me?

Posted

He called me out but then voted Talm for like, no reason. That in itself isn't reason for anything as Day 1 is full of those (vis a vis me voting Aust), but he said he voted Talm "for those reasons" and I see any good reasons. Also he backed up your "mafia vote first" play which made me think of scum trying to look innocent and pinning the blame on someone who hadn't voted yet.
