We need a majority, and now that I really think about it, I don't even think Red's no lynch vote was even serious. So I don't take it as such.

 

 

 

 

the underlined statement contradicts your original vote on me which was "on 2nd thought i don't like the idea of a No Lynch at all" which put me at the halfway point and allowed for an easy bandwagon to form on me.

Funny you should say that Aemon. Because I am actually. I have no idea what kind of left field play Thorum is trying to pull, but it is complete and utter bull crap. Unless there are two of us for some reason, which I very highly doubt. So unless you want to take a chance of lynching me, an ACTUAL finder, I hope you will place your votes elsewhere.

 

 

 

Anyhow, my question is why the reveal now MCS? You weren't at L-1 were you? Thorum revealed because he had to but there was just a discussion that if it was a fake-claim that the real finder should remain hidden. Was there no other way for you to defend yourself without revealing?

 

Not really no. At least not that I'd be able to pull off. I've played mafia for nearly two years now, but I haven't played frequently enough. I am at L-1 now I believe, or at least that is the aim of those voting for me. Thorum did FAKE reveal because he didn't want to be lynched. While that does make sense, it doesn't make him the real finder. And yes, I saw the discussion which you speak of, where it said the finder should remain hidden, but I don't think anyone thought it was me now did they?

I'm also suggesting that one is lying and also that both are lying, we just don't know. But if there are both telling the truth, I don't think lynching either is a good idea. But I get the feeling that there is more to this than meets the eye. There were a fair few people who didn't trust the Thorum claim and now MCS is also claiming it just sparks things in my mind. I wish I could say more than that!

I would find it odd to have two finders in a game this size. This is a standard town vs mafia set up - having two finders seems really loaded on our side.

I don't think this is a normal game Aust. Kivam said there were the usual Town and mafia roles. But this is an Advanced game, so who knows what Kivam has up his sleeve!

About game mechanics, I think that most of us have been told that we are the town finder. Obviously the scum will have been told something different and I imagine there is a doc out there that does not believe himself to be a finder. My question is this: are we all finders and the mafia are all godfathers? or do we merely THINK we are finders when in actuality there is only one TRUE finder. I think we need to play this out as we would in a normal situation. If you find scum, sound the alert and we'll see what happens.I also do not think a no lynch is a good way to go right now. We are going to need information on the thread if we all believe ourselves to be finders. We still have no deadline, so I am open to ideas here.

I wrote the previous things before I saw this post. Which makes me believe there are at least 3 finders. (it's the POLICE academy game) Probably all of us. Hence no one believed my claim.

Okay, you are all going to slate me for this, but I think as we have two wonderful Finders then we shouldn't lynch anyone today. Although Red said it as a joke. I believe the best option is to go for a No Lynch. Please bare with me, because I have a feeling there should be more information tomorrow and I think that one day without a lynch maybe better on this occasion. We have two claimed finders, now either one is scum and one isn't or they are both lying OR they ARE both telling the truth! There were quite a few people that didn't believe Thorum, more than usual in a game, which makes me wonder why.

Also, she didn't have the wording all of us, townies, had.

 

For me, the three of us are confirmed finders. Due to the fact aemon, mcs, and me all had exactly the same wording as to our role. Mcs posted it, and aemon said he had exactly the same wording BEFORE I could post that I had too. Which makes, whatever else you believe, at least mcs and Aemon confirmed as finder. Unless you mean you have another wording? Which would mean Nae COULD be innocent.

I am willing to give the benefot of the doubt to Thorum just because I don't see any situation where scum would claim finder on a day 1 reveal when it seems like all townies are "finders". MCS is also at the very bottom of my suspect list because of the wording he used. Unlike some others, I still believe having a lynch today will benefit us in the long run with the information we can derive from it.

Well, my role PM said, "the town finder". I know it kind of sounds like hogwash, but Thorum only did it to save himself from being lynched. While I am also doing that, it is only because I'm the true finder. So unless Kivam put multiple town finders in the game for poops and giggles, I was made Thorum's scapegoat, and I'm coincidently the real finder. Trust me, I would not be doing this if a voting train hadn't started on me.
