Yes I did. And I soon as I found out, I changed my vote. Which is what the last page or so is about. How come you missed it?

 

 

Minor pressure on multiple people won't get this game moving - major pressure, however, will do exactly that.

Okay, at the moment, I'm not sure if I'm getting a ping or not from Thorum. I understand wanting to have your vote somewhere, but every time someone comments on your vote change, you change it to someone else! Why the movement, huh? I don't really want to defend him, but I do want to question things before we quickly decide to lynch someone based on what a few people are saying/thinking; that's how we make a mistake day 1.

 

I don't know if I entirely agree with this:

We need to get on and do things, if we look at the top contenders...Me, Red and Thorum. We need to start narrowing down who we vote for.

i'm going to stick with thorum, I know he said he had read it early in the morning, and we have all done this. But he then places his vote on someone who didn't have a vote in the first place. I also think Nae followed my vote more as a joke, af ter I said jokingly we should put them on Thorum after a comment of his about voting.

 

i have to say I prefer a deadline, because no one seems willing to do much...

At the moment, I'm willing to vote mcs, Talya, or Thorum, in no particular order... or maybe it is. I'm not sure entirely. If my vote is needed for majority I'll vote Thorum, but for now I'm gonna Unvote, and Vote MCS. His vote on Red pinged me more than Thorum's, and through the time it took me to type out this post, I came to a realization that I haven't played with Thorum enough to judge how he plays when scum or otherwise. . . then again, I think a competing train would be nice if anyone wants to join me? No? Okay then...

I don't like the fact you aren't going to be around to discuss this. Just because I haven't unvoted means that I believe you are the Finder. At this stage I really don't think the Finder should reveal, if he is lying. We can work these things out later on.

Are they any quirks to the role?

Are you an accurate finder?

Are you a Paranoid finder?

 

Give us some info about the role, so that if need be we can always check these things later?

Agreed Talya, the Finder definitely shouldn't reveal if this is a trap to lure him out. Bleh, there have been way too many day 1/early game finder reveals lately for my liking.

I'm a standard pro-town finder. Nothing fancy or special. At least, I would be VERY surprised if I was some special kind of finder (like paranoid), reading the tone of my pm. Which I, of course, cannot quote here.

Those were two separate things. The strangeness in your post was you having your vote on one of three people you suspect, and changing it between the two of them that are in no direct danger of getting lynched.

Maybe you could first unvote. Sacrificing one mafia for the finder is worth it, imo. At least I would think it worth it had I been mafia.

I'm hesitant to lynch an uncontested finder Day 1, but this reveal smells fishy to me (maybe it's because I'm eating Long John Silver's :D). It's an easy way for scum to coast through the rest of the game unscathed.

Because I prefer enjoying a game I loose over winning a game I have never been able to follow.

 

Do you really believe I'll "cruise through the rest of the game unscathed"? That's never happened in any mafia game I played. The person who revealed finder has to explain his/her every move and gets lynched after 3/4/5 days, unless he/she's lucky and gets a few mafia in the first couple of nights.
