I've tried Aj, but no one came up with anything. You all seem to ahve forgotten why we went with Limi in the first place. Because the Way She, Locke and Meesh hammered so quickly on Song. We can talk in cirscle about Limi and FD, but we aren't going to get much until we try lynching them again. I can see why Limi would want Song gone if she was a recruiter for Cult, both Sone and Nae would have come up with some daming info on her, whether she was innocent or not. Now the Question is, why Locke and Meesh did the same!

As for Player Believing them totally, either he is scum and KNOW they are innocent, or he is being very naive, You never believe any one totally 100% in a mafia game.

Im sorry it came across that way. I dont believe them totally. I just decided I believe they are now lovers but I havent decided if I think they are scum or not yet.

Does that make more sense Talya? I agree that you are never 100% on a person in mafia

For the rest of this week, I'll only be able to get online Wednesday (and maybe Saturday).

I'm keeping my vote where it is right now, because changing it won't give us an easier road to a lynch.

Good enough lol

I'll do a reread after work I guesssleep.gif

I'm going to need a re-read as well. Leaning towards a vote on Limi right now, actually. Pro-town cult is completely foreign to me. If she had said Mason, I'd be more inclined to believe...but Cult? Not so much.

Yeah I was referring to Song. And you'll have to find the post yourself. It was all I could do to find it the first time.

You call her out on something, and then you tell her she's got to dig up the case on herself? Really? This is lazy. If you're on your phone, then just do it yourself once you're able. Don't expect others to case themselves for you.

Read what you will into my vote and explanation, I simply wasn't keeping track of the numbers which was why I didn't realize I was the hammer. I, like Locke, thought there was no way Song was telling the truth, with the info she'd given up to the point of being hammered. I did say that already.

But that doesn't matter, as I'm going to back out of the game, if I can at this point. I found out I'm moving out of my parents' house in about 2 weeks and I have a lot of stuff to get done between now and then. I don't think I have enough time to dedicate to this game the way it deserves.

Locke is an active person around dm, I agree that his silence should be looked at. I would honestly like to hear more from him before another vote.

But unvote for now.

Do we have a definite deadline? I won't be on after this till late.

Yeah, I didn't really see where I contradicted myself to be called a hypocrite, so I'll let it lie until later, though I am interested.

Good luck Meesh dear!

Also, I wont be online tonight so I'll miss the deadline if it's today/night; I'm working 7pm-4am CST, so don't expect me to post anything awesome until tomorrow morning/noon.... not that I generally post much of awesome-level.

I believe that's the lynch, correct me if I'm wrong. I wont vote just to have my vote there.

Really? My partner told me to tell you guys that, also I'm not nk-able only lynchable. I'm actually not town, I'm neutral, I never said I was town. We are part of the Cidwyr Collective. But I can't believe you guys are going to kill us both off. I'm atually quite pissed right now so that's all I'm going to say. I've been waiting for this game forever, and just because wombat jumps on me for no reason you guys follow his lead. I'm telling the effing truth and you ask for a full reveal when it's scummy to give a half reveal, and then I give you one and now all of a sudden it'a too much? Screw you guys.

Song, it's not What you said, but HOW you said it, unfortunately. If you're town, your emotions got the better of you, if mafia, well.. you showed your true colors. At this moment I'm leaning toward the latter.

Care to explain the complete 180 you made from this stance after Song flipped, AJ?

Posted

Total 180? I think I stayed and am sticking pretty true to my thoughts. As far as Song is concerned: I believed her half reveal and reactions were very scummy, and worthy of votes, but after her full reveal as being connected to a finder, I think that people really jumped the gun to speed lynch her. The post that you quoted was after her reveal and lynch (before the report), but it expressed my thoughts on her behavior. I did not say she should have been lynched, but rather that she was acting scummy. Therefore, the votes before her reveal were well founded, but after? Not so much...

Hope that explains well enough.

Sounds a lot like you would've chosen to add your vote too then. The funny thing is, though so much heat is given towards those who hammered, I didn't see a single post defending Song in any way until after the Coroner's report. We're simply taking the heat for happening to be the first people that happened to see her posts and not have voted her already.

Are you referring to the top line of the quote Wombat quoted of mine? I honestly thought she was scum, but I don't think I would have voted if it came down to the choice, though now I think I understand where you last three are coming from, despite how your votes seem at this point.

The first line was. The rest was to you, Wombat, Red, and I think one other person I can't remember who stated similar opinions plus anyone else who might have lurked through it and said nothing.

Well, I wasn't here to vote or not vote for Song however, that was Day 1 and I'm a little suspicious of everyone that KEEPS BRINGING IT UP! We haven't been able to move on and move past it because there are those that don't wanna talk about anything else. It seems like there might be a few attempts at distraction.

“Why are you interested in this all of the sudden?” Anamira queried.

Dallar did not look at her, focused on the back of Menden Atal as the Weaver lead them to their destination. “I don’t know. I just need to know why Vidan lied. What was he protecting? From whom?”

They had bought horses for the ride north of Alir. Menden did not seem to be guiding them through any specific path. They would reach the beach and trade in their horses for a ferry ride to the island where their answers lay. They could not have taken the Asteri ship, for the Foaming Rapids were named well. The larger ship was not always the answer.

Dallar glanced to the sky. Sunfall was nearly upon them. “We will need to break for camp, Menden.” He announced. The Weaver stopped and looked back, thinking for a moment before nodding assent. He led them through the light forest to a clearing, the grass and dirt dug out in the center to make a sand bed for a campfire. It was a popular campsite, if the charred markings were any indication.

Menden split the group up and assigned them all duties. Sacar Tsilnar’s youngest brother, Isaer, was sent to gather wood for the fire. He came back with the bundle and laid it in the sand pit. Menden flexed his fingers and reached his hand for the earth. A thin line popped out, glowing red. Menden grabbed the glowing thread and cracked it like a whip at the pile of wood. Fire sprang up and blasted them all with its heat. The red thread dissipated and they all gathered around the fire as the sun began to sink.

Food was prepared quickly and eaten quietly. Everyone was feeling the same dread that Menden Atal did, as if the feeling was contagious. The weight of his words pressed down on them.

“There will be a price to be paid for this information. Are you willing to pay it?”

It was a question that one could only answer for themselves, and only when the price was set. Relief settled among them all as night came upon them and they knew that they were still alive.

They broke camp shortly after the meal, Menden set on finishing this before the night was done. They reached the beach and dismounted, leading their horses to a line of posts, tying the reins so that the horses would be there for them in the morning.

The ferry man set his price and Menden paid without comment. They were herded onto the raft and shown their positions. They all stood at a railing that had a rope loop to slide their arm through. This was so that no one would be launched from the ferry. The ferry man used no such device, instead placing himself at the rope line that lead from the beach into the darkness. Pulling on the rope, he guided the raft through the waters.

* * * * * * * *

The ferry hit the shore of the island. Everyone struggled out of their arm straps and got to land as fast as they could. They were all soaked from the wild splashing of the Foaming Rapids. No one had doubted that the raft would tip over, but the ferry man expertly avoided such a fate, laughing crazily to the sky.

After regaining their composure, the group set out after Menden, who had barely taken a moment to breath before setting out into the darkness. The island was rocky and barren. No green grew here. There was an ominous feel to the place, like walking the streets of Helgate in the dead of night, and coming across a particularly dark alley.

Menden lead them to the base of a gigantic stone structure. A narrow path jutted out, leading up to the top. They walked like crabs, sideways, hugging the cliff face. When they reached the summit, they were wet, cold, and more that a little cut up. Dallar thought he could see the bone of his thumb where he had prevented himself from tumbling to his death.

The top of the small mountain was flat and wide. Menden lead them to the direct center where a hole lead down. Where it lead to was anyone’s guess.

Menden stopped them and looked them each in the eyes, the seriousness of the situation was not lost to them. “Each of you must decide now. A price must be paid. Are you willing to sacrifice yourself for the information we seek? Are you willing to sacrifice another? If not, then you best wait here for us to return.”
