I think that Ballstien was scum/mafia/anti-town. He was a bad guy in the movie. A half hearted crappy one, but one none the less. Talmanes said he isn't telling us more information when a character dies so we're not going to know alignment or role at all... going to be very annoying and will help the scum.

 

Ed you had a large vote count on you day 1 and barely made it, I didn't see anything or anyway you were trying to change minds...

For those that have seen the movie, trying to figure out the alignments can be rather useful, but then again, it also could be very faulty, so I'm not sure what kind of stock I'll put into it. Though, since you are, for now, assuming that Kem was mafia, might be useful to check out interaction with other players and see if there was any suspicious play? Unless he didn't post at all, of course... which gives NO information *needs to look back at D1*

 

Also, Day 2 OMGUSing is a little worrying to me, and Al Jenn voted rather quickly on Ed for my liking, and on weak reasoning. I believe by Day 2 we should be looking at yesterday and trying to figure out who the scum is. Right now though, I'm a little wary of Al Jenn (dammit, I can't say AJ because everyone always calls ME AJ! Gao), though that could likely be because I don't recall playing many games with you... maybe there was one? Dunno.

Ed, you don't need to spell it out, I believe it's pretty self explanatory with the N-O-O-M-G-U-S (oooo noomgus...hehe), but it still appears that way from the surface. And I don't think that you can use "he's always mafia" to get a lynch. For me, you're always mafia, so if he flips Town, I'd be lmao at you and your now more seemingly scummy behavior.

Ed you didn't find me as mafia. You are not the cop. I am not mafia. For those of you who've played with me that should be simple enough.

 

Alanna... We don't get alignment or roles when people die so there won't be a 'flip'.

 

As for looking over day 1. Hybrid made a vote on Ed for no reason in particular although someone might claim you could read more into it you'd just get a head ache. After that a band wagon started on Ed of people just doing 'random' voting. You might be able to pull something out of that. However there was almost no activity and after day ended there was only a few worthless posts at night. We really have no information.

 

However Ed is claiming to be the Cop in a round about way and saying he found me as mafia last night.

 

I'm not mafia. So most likely Ed is lying.

 

As for why I voted for him in the first place. It was a pointless vote to get things started since this game is really not active at all. Aside from that Ed didn't defend himself at all yesterday and racked up a bit of votes. So I thought it worthwhile to pressure him and get information as there really wasn't anything to analyze yesterday.

 

However thanks to Ed now we have something to work with. Either he or I are mafia.

Still have no clue which guy he is but I assume he dies in a freak gasoline fight accident. Which character are you Ed. Seems simple to know who is telling the truth when one of us dies by our character name.

This going back and forth is going to get us nowhere unless one of you slips up and says something. I'm wondering... A) You both are Town, the mafia just sitting to the side letting this happen, ready for a fun nk B) You're both mafia and trying to prevent anything else from happening C) One of you is mafia and just waiting for the balance to tip one way or the other for your team to act; whether to try and save their teamie (if tips mafia) or bandwagon on the Townie.

 

Which basically sucks, but I'm going to lay a little pressure and see where everyone goes by voting Al Jenn

Okay, both of you (Al and Ed) are playing very in-character right now, they are accusing each other (not uncommon), so until one of you slips up I am going to not vote either (it's still early in day 2) for now.

 

However, Alanna's vote is interesting to me. Either she just believes Ed's claim (which is much more open than Al's "could-be-counter-could-not-be" statement) or she knows something that she isn't sharing. Or she flipped a coin.

 

Also, I too would like to know about why DJ freaked out about the character list, however my vote is not hanging on his response.

Nope simply encouraging someone to come out. Normally it isn't wise for the cop to counter claim, however we can't assume that Matilda is the cop, she may be the doctor which is more likely. Or she might not be either of those roles. Either way it isn't a horrible idea to counter a character name.

 

And I don't have any team mates. I'm not anti-town and I'm not on a team with any other townies.

Im assuming everyone that plays this game has a character/name. (I know I do...)

IF we would have decided to reveal role names, we could have gotten closer to a "double call" on one of the character/names, hence closer to a mafia.. Since you revealed ALL the characters in the movie, it makes it a LOT more difficult. It is ONE of the ways to make us win more easy..

In games like these, you will always gain advantage by at least have the option to mass reveal... (doesn't always pay off, but the option is still there...)

 

Now all the mafia have to do is chose one silly character from your list, less likely to be one taken by another, making the "eliminate by character" play a hell of a lot harder.....

Anyone hurting my chance to win will make me freak out. I think I have my reasons. Putting that list there can only make advantages for the mafia team...
