The Future of the A'dam

Outside of the discussion on the presented theory:  I wonder if the a'dam might in the future be used as a teaching tool.  With some modifications to the way it functions (not allowing total control of the necklace-wearer, etc), it might become analogous to the way we use training wheels to teach our kids to ride bikes.

I dont think there will be any agreement or accord that will deal with teh seanchan continent.

 

I think if any agreement is struck it will be the stopping of collaring in exchange for all recent discoveries (which personnally I dont think the seanchan should agree too since they can just gain it by collaring and forcing the women to show everythign they know)

 

now i think that the thing that will actually stop the collar is Rand himself. During the next meeting I could see him bringing Rhuarc and Sorilea (side note) in some repairations for treating the aiel badly, and since he now cares he will do somethign about it.

 

And this is where Egwene comes in, since the collaring of women is 'womens business' both tuon and egwene will team up against rand, realizing they are both strong and capable (although in slightly different ways and amounts etc) women and that will be the precursor to some private dealing between the two which will actually end the practice

Haha, I just imagined Egwene and Tuon becoming 'friends' and eventually Tuon bringing Mat to one of their meetings without telling Egwene who her husband is. Egwene's face would be priceless. Also, Nynaeve needs to be there representing the Dragon Reborn for greater effect. Somehow it seems like it would be funnier if Egwene and Nynaeve came to know and somewhat respect Tuon before Mat shows up as Emperor.

I never expected to see that viewing fulfilled as I feel that it is an indication that Carlinya would move to Shara.

Doesn't the bond between warder and channeler and the Adam have elements in common?  I seem to remember that from somewhere in the books.  If so, it's possible that Fortuna may bond some of the Seanchan channelers to cement her hold on them and force compliance.  She can then tell everyone that they are "safe" because the bond is so akin to the Adam as to keep them from taking command of the world or wahtever myth they've been telling everyone for centuries.
