Has any one seen this new picture of Rand in TGS when he is on dragonmount it is amazing. dem888 at deviantart.com painted it and it is probably the best picture of rand i have seen.

  God... I'm so old.... I don't think that's oil paint on canvas... It's looks more like done with a 3D rendering software.

  To me it's appear too powerful and too painful! Where is the despair, the  madness and the sadness?

yeah thats the one. My only beef is why does Rand have the fat man angreal? isn't that lost after he is captured by Aes Sedai in LoC?

That's one of the access keys to the Choedan Kal. My only beef is that he should be wearing a ratty brown cloak, instead of whatever he's wearing. Rand is wearing awesome pants and a ratty cloak up on Dragonmount.

I can't find it online right now, but there's an awesome picture out there of Egwene and Silviana standing in front of the hole in the wall of the Hall of the Tower looking at Dragonmount as the clouds open up and shine down on the peak. The whole picture is beautiful, but I really love the work done on Dragonmount.

I hate to be a pessimist, but the Silviana and Egwene one is atleast 5 times better than the Rand on Dragonmount one. Atleast.

 

For starters, why is Rand's hand (Lack thereof) glowing? Why is Rand wearing those weird clothes? Why does he look like a manga super-hero? Why is the Access Key holding a staff and suddenly half-sized? Why does the tip of Dragonmount look funny?

I don't like it.  His lower body looks huge, not very masculine at all in relation to his shoulders.

 

Also I didn't remember any lightning, but that might just be me. I thought dragonmount was volcanic?

I agree that the "I am here" picture is better. In the other picture, Rand look too stocky

i always pictured the light to be much smaller, like just enough to cover Rand. but now i see that the big hole in the sky looks alot nicer this way
