When Mat finally meets up with everyone else. Besides the obviously likely fact that he will have Moraine with him, it seems to me Mat has been the most secretive when meeting new people. In other words, he rarely gives his real name whenever meeting someone new and I think it would be interesting how people react when they remeet him. For instance, if you look at the third book, you will see that neither Tallanvor or Morgase hear is real name or think he is anything but a peasant (when he is delivering Elayne's letter). Now, Morgase might not remember him but Tallanvor probably will. Lastly, I can't wait to see Nynaeve's reaction when she finds out he is married.

All of the above and more.  To me beside Rand he is the most interesting character in the whole series.

When most or all of them meet again he will mostly be one-eyed too.  I can't wait to see Egwene's reaction, seeing as how he did her a kindness and she manipulated him.  I think Elayne mostly understands him and anyway her warder does.  As for Nyneave, I don't know what her reaction will be it won't be the same as it would be in book 7.

One thing that's going to be absolutely ridiculous is if/when Egwene finds out that Mat is married to the woman who sent the Seanchan invasion on Tar Valon. I'm just hoping for some heated dialogue between Tuon and Egwene, with Mat stuck in the middle trying to make everything okay.

 

Heh, I have this hilarious vision of Mat just raising his hands up in exasperation, and shouting, "Bloody women!"

One of my favorite pairings of people in the same room is Mat and Moiraine, so... let's just say I'm excited :P. They're not together very often but Mat always squirms even when she hardly says anything, and Moiraine's irritation is fun. One of my favorite chapters in the series is her PoV in The Shadow Rising seeing Mat in his rumpled coat and Mat grinning at her.

Mat is still Mat, and Moiraine having him in her debt is going to be interesting. I think no matter how nice/grateful she is Mat will want to get to Caemlyn as fast as humanly possible to drop her off with Rand.

(I just realized yesterday that I've been waiting 1/4 of my life for Moiraine to come back :D)

I don't think either would condescend to argue with the other. Besides in my opinion Egwene and Fortuona will most likely meet when Fortuona leads a Seanchan army to her aid as per the Seanchan-woman-with-the-sword dream. Then there will be a bit of cold looks and unease, but actual arguments? I doubt it.

I want to see Mat lose his temper. And I don't mean getting frustrated, I want to see him lose a good friend or something at get a little cold blooded. He's the only one we haven't seen this from and I think it would be a sight to behold.

Yeah, I wanna see more badass Mat, like when he lost his temper with Joline. That put her in her place. Perhaps Egwene will get all depressed about her leashing if she meets with Tuon and tries to do something rash, then Mat will come in, lose his temper and set things straight
