Just this: According to the scene where Railon (can't really remember her name) is using the bonestone and sees the black hearts around the candidates and the undecided, I would say that they were already placed in those groups and someone has a framer ability they were using to try and throw us off the scent.

Q&A with DPR, part 2:

Q: If a player votes for a candidate, do they show up as a supporter of that candidate in the coroner report?  For example, if a Bonda Perrada voted for the Beva Perrada, do they show up as Beva Perrada in the coroner report?

A: Yes

 

Problem with that. I voted Beva at the beginning of the game (I've switched my vote, for obvious reasons), and flipped captain on 2 investigations since then.

But you aren't dead Barm, alignment is only shown on death, Captain is the faction that you belong to. Once you vote your Alignment (Town or Mafia) will change depending on who you vote for.

 

If you haven't voted your alignment will be what it was when you first came into the game. So there will be 10 Mafia to begin with. The mafia all KNOW who their candidate is. Just because there were 6 Mafia deaths in the game, doesn't mean they all started out as Mafia, they may have already had a vote in which would seal their alignment. However people can change votes, which is why some people may have different readings. If you are voted and dead then your vote doesn't count! So only those left will count.

 

It might well be that on death it shows which faction they started in and then show their alignment, but when viewed they are actually seen as who they are really aligned to. Take Alys, she came up as Beva and she may have started the game as that but because she was mafia to start and so she got viewed as Bonda, because she was Mafia. I hope that makes sense.

 

Red could have easily been lying about what faction she was or her faction did change for some reason, or something messed with someone's viewing,  or she was actually Beva and was also mafia that hadn't voted. Those would then have been the black hearts the bonestone lady saw around the Beva as well as the Bova candidate.

Also Barm, you wouldn't have shown as Bonda, because at that time we had not been chosen as the Candidates. The actual Beva and Bonda characters were already selected as Mafia and Town and we just fitted into those roles.

 

I'm Beva (obviously) and have been since the beginning of the game (faction that is, not the person) and I'm in a team with two others. It was only recently I was told I was Beva Peradda. But I still believe that I am Innocent and with the town.

I think we are going to have to decide from the scenes DPR gives us whether a candidate is mafia or town. As far as the other mafia members, I still believe we need to take a closer look at the Captains.

Yeah.  Here's my theory.

 

Exhibit A:

JLM asked DPR about Finder results, and he told her they give faction or alignment.  I asked DPR about voting and alignment, and he told me alignment changes when you vote. 

 

Exhibit B:

- Barm claims to have viewed Alys as Bonda.  Alys makes a bunch of posts about drinking the wine in front of her.  Then she flips Beva (and scum).

- Aemon claims to have viewed Red as Bonda.  Dae claims to have viewed Red as Beva later.  Red flips Beva (and scum).

 

Exhibit C:

- Everyone who has flipped Bonda so far has been scum.  But not everyone who is Beva is scum.  Because I'm Beva, and I am definitely not scum.  You can lynch/night kill me to test it.

 

this is exactly what Al Jenn said, except he was Bonda. I'm tempted to take you up on that offer, Hybrid.

2. There will be one more day cycle through Saturday night. There will be one more Night cycle through Sunday night. The last day will be over Monday until 6 pm. All votes must be in by then. Everyone must vote Bova or Beva. By 8 pm, I will announce the winner.

Back to the game - Talya and Barms both know their alignment. Who viewed Barm again? Did we only ever see him as captain? And I know Lily suspected Talya (info given by Ama), pretty convinced she was scum. Interesting.

i keep coming back to this bolded part. we can't trust any reading done in the past and there can be no readings now of the candidates. i'm going to do a reread and try to see if anyone was supporting red and alys. only dpr's scenes will give us any hint as to the alignment of the candidates. or if we happen to lynch a mafia who openly supported one of the candidates.

I've been waiting for another scene from Wes, but it looks like there's slim chance of that, so I'm going to make a compilation of all the previous scenes and then make my final decision. Deadline to vote for a candidate is Monday, if I remember correctly.
