Okay I have a theory on why Red might be Bonda one night and Beva the next. Remember those undecided's? Could it be that she, and possibly Alys, change every night? Almost like an undecided wavering between two different options? They may not be aware of it, and it would definitely throw confusion and chaos into the game, which our lovely Mod is not averse to.

This. Actually, its a result of doing exactly that which has of course resulted in DPR telling me that, true to DPR fashion, he has given us all a finder ability for a reason. Of course, he declined to share what that reason might be.

until the Alys/Barm situation is over i'm timid about submitting his name to recieve the bonestone.  i know others have supported his Captian claim, but i'm still not convinced that the town/mafia aligments are that easily defined in this game.  so while he is Captian, he might not be town.  and this is something he wouldn't tell his teamates.

 

i'd vote for either Pete, Meesh or Talya

Wes' post was the first I ever heard about having a bonestone. I have no idea which type it is or what it does.

In other news, I'll submit my name for getting the bonestone from Aemon.  If Alys is lynched and flips town, then I will likely not use it, as she counseled against it.  However, if she flips mafia, then I will use it.

If we have no idea what it does and it has to be used, I would say this is more than likely a bad thing, at least if we had a choice of using it then it would be slightly different, but then we don't know who's hands it goes into!

Just have a question for Alys since I'm at work and super-busy:  If there are so obviously more than 3 factions, and we're all silly not to have noticed you informed us of that fact, then why would you tell me that since you're not Bonda, and you didn't get it about the captains not being mafia, that it should be obvious what faction you ARE a part of? Doesn't make sense to me.

All right. Just to clear up some of the confusion, I have decided to let you all know that I am a witch in a mason group with Wombat and Dar. I am giving the bonestone to Wombat because he is one of the few people I do not suspect of being mafia at this point. We hope that this has a beneficial effect, but should it turn out bad, at least it will clear myself and Dar.

 

Just to make sure no one forgets...Red is lying through her teeth. Let's get Alys today and Red tomorrow.

Thanks for clearing that up Wombat.  Was going to ask if Dar = Dae or Danya since Daruya isn't in this game.  I'm not asking which, but are the witches part of one of the three factions we've been talking about or are they a fourth group?

Both for info and for the issue Meesh pointed out with her saying she'd eliminated Bonda and Captain so must be the third faction, but now is claiming there are more than 3 factions. It's possible there is another faction (or factions), but she didn't think so before.  Relevant quotes:

Alys, have you stated yet what you are?  Earlier meesh was wanting to know and you only said so indirectly.  I don't think anyone has flat out said what the third faction is called in PMs.
