The paper's front page shows the gruesome pictures of a young woman torn to pieces. "Serial Killer Still at Bay! Local Law Enforcement No Help on Reservation".  The elders at the La Push reservation refused to comment as they gather at the memorial service for Leah Clearwater. Turns out she was an junior agent at the FBI researching serial killers. Her room had been ransacked and all notes for this investigation gone.

 

Wombat, werewolf SK Investigator, has been murdered.

 

It is now Day 3! With 12 players, it takes 7  to lynch. The deadline is Tuesday, June 1 at 10:00 am CST. Or thereabouts.

It is interesting that on Night 1 there were 2 kills and on night 2 there was only one. Off to re-read the whole thread...

Just crunching some numbers... if we had 18 to start and usually approx. 25% are anti-town that would mean 4 or 5 players in this game are anti-town.

 

We have lost 3 innocents & 3 wolves leaving 12 players.

 

Of those 12 at least 4, possibly 5, are scum.

I keep reading what people are posting and thinking I should say something to let you all know I'm still here, but nothing comes to mind. Honestly. I'm bummed that we lost another wolf, but that sounds stupid to say. Anyway, I'm here and paying attention.

Okay i have been busy LOL

 

I have a few suspicions, the first of which is Crusher - he has posted only 4 times in this thread and really said nothing of substance. His 1st post was a random vote on Aemon, second was an unvote claiming a need to re-read, third was fluff and another claim of a need to re-read and the last was this:

 

Read thru and Adella and Wombat seem to stick out. Yet not terribly scummy.  Wombat comes out a little aggressive and Adella seems to be either easing into the game or trying to blend.  not sure neither player is too familiar to me.

 

Aemon was my original vote.  I have a feeling about him and he seems a little more informed than a townie.  Partly that and partly because the EMMM is so strong in Crusher.

2 out of 3 of his focused players have flipped innocent - but most of us were suspicious both both players also, but i do feel that his lack of posts makes watching him closely important.

 

 

I am also suspicious of Lia, usually she has well thought out posts about her reason for finding people to be scummy yet in this game she has made announcements out of no where such as:

 

No doubt you are! I might or might not be on tomorrow as it's my birthday but I'll definitely be on Wed (hopefully before the deadline) so I can place a vote. At the moment I'm suspicious of Aemon and Lily.

Well, that's that. I will say if Aemon turns up innocent I've got my eye on Wombat, Pete and Amadine.

 

Pete has only posted twice in this game which is very unlike him as any role in this game, more than thinking him suspicious i am just concerned for him. Lily is unusually quiet though i know she has RL stuff going on and Koujin has only posted once as well.

I hate to be a downer but aren't we supposed to post every day to avoid mod-kill?? What's up with the inactives?

 

 

I'm suspicious of Danya... this is what she posted when things started getting heavy for Aemon, who turned up to actually be town.

at Aemon; I think its strange that you got your win condition that says we have to kill one of the good teams here. If I know the books right (and I have read them), I'd say there's at least three teams, Evil Vampires, which we have to kill to win the game, Werewolfs who are all kinds of goodie protector types, I bet thats the team with the Healer, dont see why we should kill those, and then the last team wouldbe the Cullens, who should be teamed up with the Werewolfs, and who also (my guess) has the Finder since they see the future and hear thoughts and all that.. I guess also roleless townies, or just roleless teammembers.

 

To me it just sticks out that she did not have the same win condition as Aemon the townie. She could be werewolf or vampire but my gut is telling me not so much. I will have to do a re-read to solidify my vote, perhaps when I get off work tonight. But right now I'm going with my gut and [glow=red,2,300]voting Danya[/glow]

Excuse me, glancing over my post I meant werewolf or Cullen. It seems to me like we've got town, werewolves, and cullens, then the bad guy vamps. Someone take an eye to the posts and tell me if you agree or disagree with my suspicions- I'll do my own reread soon hopefully.

 

Any other input on who is ringing bells? I'm still out of it from our town losses, it's about time we get one of the scum!!

Ama, I can address your concerns for both myself and Crusher. We are in a very intense game on another site, as well as several each here. He has mentioned to me that he's struggling to keep up.

 

As for me, I'm quiet because I just don't have any ideas at this point. I'm watching and waiting for something to catch my attention. AND, I'm VERY frustrated with this new trend of townies choosing to act scummy. I can't see how it helps anything. Unless it's a selfish play to stay alive in the games longer. I got busted for doing that on the other place I play last game, and really saw how it helped my team lose the game.

 

You seem to be a lot more vocal as you are growing more confident in the game. On the one hand, I'm happy to see that. On the other, it is making me watch you. I, of all people, know the value (and risks) of being center stage in games.  ;)

 

 

As for Pete, he hasn't been around anywhere like he usually is.

 

In other news, Reyn, that caught my eye, too, but I completely missed that it could be Danya who was lying. That's interesting. Good catch and certainly worth looking into.

Hey Ama.  I understand your suspicion but Killy did touch on some of it.  I am caught up in 4 crazy games right now and having a hard time managing that, the holiday and RL stuff.

 

Also this game has me a little stumped.  Other than a little info from players and my wife and daughter I don;t know jack about the subject theme and find myself a little loss.  Happen to me in one of Dragon's theme games as well.

 

I have some time today and will read and chime in.

I'm sick in bed today, and I'm going to try to reread this game and get my brain to actually pay attention. Right now, all I have is what Reyn said about Danya that has piqued my interest, and something about Amadine is bugging me. If nothing sticks out to me in the reread, I may want to put some pressure on one of them and see what we get that way. Problem with that is when I try to do that, they end up lynched and usually flip innocent.

It's not the strongest case I've ever put together, I admit, but something about this whole interchange doesn't sit well with me. It feels like Talya is trying a little too hard to find someone to point and FOS at, without seeming to be trying.

 

 

Tigs I also find your vote odd. We are near the end of day 1 and you go for someone who hasn't a vote, purely because you wanted to vote for someone. So any reason you didn't vote for Danya or wombat to move this day along. It looks like that maybe both are Mafia and you didn't want to vote for either. If not then maybe you knew that all those who haven't voted are innocents and so you just get yourself clear to open the way for an innocent kill?

Talya- in regards to Tigs voting just to vote- mod said anyone who didn't vote could be modkilled if there was no concencus on a lynch. I'm not sure how close to deadline his vote was, but if it was close and we clearly weren't getting a lynch of course it would be best for one to vote regardless of their inopinion.

 

I know what you mean, Reyn, she just could have gone for one of the ones that had a few votes on. Rather than just get herself out of trouble.. ;)
