LOL  Now this sounds silly and really is, but I am out of the loop in my own Kin..*makes a disgusted with self sound*

 

I'd like to fix that..if you are new, I haven't met you or formally given you your a set of Knitting Needles to match your sash..well we need to talk! *grins* 

 

All you old folks around here..how are you?  been raised?  had a baby? got married? graduated?  What in the heck's been going on with y'all?  I wanna know!!

 

Now that I do have your attention though..I do have a serious request!

Please go to the Farm and update your contact and birthday information so that I can get all the business lists updated.  It is about time for a Twinnie mass Happy Mailing and I don't want to leave ANYONE out!

 

If you prefer to not put your info in the threads on the board..you can PM it to me, to twinflower.  It will be confidential and only used for Happy Mail!  Please check out the thread at the Farm in any case please!

Well lets see, my life. Soccer started again and the parents are just as bad as they were last year. I got fired and have gotten a new job. I start next week, it's a stay at home job and I think it will work out nicely. I got my garden planted and I am talking to them every day and hoping for some veggies and fruit soon. We got a boat. Just a little row boat but it is nice to go out and enjoy the day in it. I think I will be looking for a new babysitter, soon. My old one is having some personal problems which are effecting the kids. Jackie is about to graduate from K5 and I have a 4.0 in my classes. **Dances**

 

Other than that, it's about the same. Vic is playing in the yard right now and keeps bringing me worms and rolly-pollies.

 

 

So how the heck are you? Whats been going on?

Yes Torrie I am back.  *crosses fingers*  Hopefully the computer is going to cooperate with me! *smiles*  LOL  Boats are FUN!  and I saw where you have little grapes blooming..we used to have grape vines..well they were bill's dad's in our yard..I hated them..but they were just about dead back then too...next he planted Blackberries.. ::) although I do love having fresh canned blackberry jam and fresh pie!  I caught most of your news scanning through the threads..but not that you had a new job!  Thats GREAT!  Doing what?  And of course just grinned and drooled over the snow pics of the poppets!  Congrats on the 4.0 and the refund too!  Well DONE! but then I expected no less of you..*hugs*

As for the kids, definitely a handful or two. Cameron has been found to be Autistic and possibly ADD or ADHD. Adel and Jason have also been characterized as borderline Autistic as well. They also think that Adel might be hyperactive as well. Never a dull moment around here. lol

I was raised to Accepted not long ago and chose the Green Ajah. A little before that I got the Green sash here in the Kin. :) Other than that there isn't much new going on with me. I'm currently reading the Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson. Am real bad at knitting, but I like cross stitching.

I got laid off in Feb, Twinnie, and I am supposed to start this new job on the 3rd. It is a work at home job which has a base pay, so I can send Vic to the babysitters and still work a 40 hour week at home! **Dances**

 

It leaves me open for doctors appts and house stuff. Plus Jackie will be going to a new school next year and I will have to pick her up in the middle of the day. This way I do not have to leave a job, I can just make up the hours at night.  :)

That sounds great Torrie!  Almost tailor made..which I think almost every mom needs these days!  But what are you doing exactly?  Is it like medical transcription?  I'm curious because I need to find a job that is at home and doing something like that!

 

Taie my dear that sounds like you have a busy and maybe difficult road ahead!  I am not positve what it means for your child to have autism..even though I hear about it often..will this require the kids to have special needs?  I have a nephew that is ADHD and know what a handful he can be..can't imagine having more than one to take care of!  *hugs tight*  There never is a dull moment is there love?

 

*grins*  Onis thats great!  You seem to be living GREEN! Congratulations!  LOL  I used to love to cross stitch until my eyes got old! Bah!  Tay does a lot of cross stitching too!  would love to see pics of what you've done!  I got Mistborn too but haven't yet picked it up...we'll have to chat when we finish reading!

It is a company based out of Florida. Do you know of AutoTrader and BoatTrader? They post advertisements for car and boat sales.

 

The company I am working for is their competition. The have a web site where boat dealers can post pictures and descriptions of the boats they are trying to sell. I am selling the ad space to the dealers.

 

The just switched it up on me.  >:( They got a building and it's over an hour drive away from me. My start date got moved to the 17th. It was supposed to be the 3rd. My manager still seems keen on the idea of flexible hours and seems OK with working from home as long as the job gets done, so I still have hope of working it out with my time schedule and the kids.

And I can't knit at all. I'm determined to keep it that way, since I need another hobby like I need another hole in my head. I cross stitch and crochet... and sew...and quill...and scrapbook...and garden...sometimes I make a scrapbook about my garden...

 

I can do the complex paint by numbers kits (don't laugh, those suckers get hard when you start mixing colors!), too.

 

And I dance.

 

And I love beads. *nods* Seriously, I'm a bead addict. I'm not allowed to go to the beading section of hobby lobby or Michael's without an escort holding my wallet. Beads and books. *sighs*

 

Oh yeah, and I read.

 

 

And I write.

 

 

And I am online too much.

 

 

I'm sure I'm missing something.

Frankly, I'm just surprised I still have hair... *laughs*

Michaels....my favorite store in the world.  I LOVE the way it smells in there.  I'm serious...I walk in the door and take a sniff and my tummy gets all butterfly-ey and I get giddy!  <3 <3 <3 IT!!!

Hey Twinny.. you where gone?*lol* You know me here one moment gone for years the next, i live in my own little vacual, I have a similar situation about the job just lost mine a few weeks ago, been taking online courses for three years now, acct I, acctII, principles in banking, and just took my finial in Economics(macro) on Sat.(those where the classes i've taken over the three year period) and it took until this last one to finally kick start my brain back into learning hwo to learn, so now i'm going to go and sign up for some classes at the local CC might try full time and get some student loans and grants, get a job at the local mini mart part time, it's like starting all over again*sighs*

 

My kid is 17 shes going to prom in another two weeks, and shes beuatiful!
