Im not sure if Im allowed to vote or not but I think we should test the Admiral.

Uh Crusher, Admiral is played by your friendly neighborhood mod, he's there to add to the story-telling aspect of the game, notice how he hasn't voted, there's no way Wes would make him the master or let him be turned.

Really?  Then answer me this?  Why is he so far away from all the checks.  I  don;t know Wes as much as you guys do, but Ive played 90% of my mafia with Kivam and I know how these evil geniuses work.  Just like him to do that.

This my first hunt and you seem dirty to me.  I'm sorry if I don;t have vampire hunting skills like you guys, but his spot and the way he's leading the town around bothers me.  Don;t like your mustache either.

I don't know if anyone else picked up on this or if I'm reading too much into it, but he does say that the Admiral drops the cross back in his shirt after he tests someone.  I thought that might be a hint to us that he's clean?  I suppose it's possible that the cross isn't making skin contact at that point, but my guess is Thorum not voting for himself tells us we've found a master.  I won't say I think he's for sure the first master because if I were the master and further down the list, I'd definitely consider making the new master the person or a couple people in front of me so that when they town caught them I could say "now all we have to do is go back and check the people we've already looked at!" and buy some time.

I think its more complicated then that. It's almost certain that at least one person who has been "checked and tested" has since been infected. Picking someone who's a few names ahead would be a monumentally stupid play - because the town are just working down the list. And I did say this earlier on - the mafia knows we're working down the list, and that predictability about us isn't a good thing.

 

As for Crusher's point on the Admiral, I'm not too sure - it would seem slightly corny if Wes had made the "arch-baddy" who we thought was the "arch-goody" - but then again, Crusher is a more experienced player than me. It's certainly food for thought.

Ok, I don't know what to think about this. Are you confessing here Thorum, or are you trying to get lynched? This is my first game of Vamps and the like - is a jester a typical role?

I read it as first admitting guilt because a vote on him is inevitable and second taunting because it doesn't matter if people who have voted are here, just that those who haven't come in and voted show up.  Hopefully that can happen before the 24 hour cycle resets and he can make another vamp.
