there isn't really a whole lot of evidence out there right now.  I've reread 4 times, and there's nothing jumping out at me except gut feelings and circular reasoning on my part that makes no sense.

 

Does that mean I don't have to re-read?  

 

Anyway, I do need to re-read some of it at least.  I've been following along a bit, but haven't read every post since I died before.  I have band practice tonight, but I'll try to get back on after I get back home.

I am an incredibly aggressive player when I feel someone lies and tries to stop the town from winning(cough Alys). Sad part is, even though I was right, it was still a mod error. Which is sad.

 

I'm am not going to apologize for harping on someone who was lying even if they didn't know or want to admit they were.

 

MCS has been more active than pandy, really I should have voted for him, but unless MCS can come up with a good reason for me to unvote, it is going to stick. Lets get to night and see if we can figure out what is going on.

First, four new pages in the amount of time I spent updating my notecards.  Ouch!  Some of my notes, I think starting day 4:

 

Unless there's something else going on behind the scenes, I think killing Al was a mafia mis-step.  There were questions about the resurrected people's allignment once they returned and the mafia might have been able to keep us from lynching one of their own by letting that question stay in the game.  Either they didn't think of that (doubtful), Al was saying something they didn't want broadcasted, or they were reacting to his saying he does have a role now (post #911), or they somehow benefitted from killing a previously resurrected player.  They might have also hoped that Lavi would view Al to see his allignment and they'd make that action useless by removing him from the game, which makes me look closer at Barm since he suggested killing or findering one of the res'd folks.  But that might have been part of the mafia's plan too... frame Barm.

 

Aemon's PR ending also made me wonder about him, but partly out of jealousy because his wasn't for the whole game.  :P  I've been too close to forgetting too many times lately.  That said...

I had it before - I stole it from Al when he died the first time. I can't name it, or tell you what it did. All I will say is that I was underwhelmed.

 

Now, after it has been discussed a bit, I  wonder if it had any indirect action that I was not aware of, and maybe if it resurrected anyone (based on it being not-so-good for Cthulhu)

 

Makes me wonder about the other relics as well. It would be just like Kivam to scare us out of using what would save us. But I don't know, I havn'y had any of the other relics.

 

Theory:  What if the resurrections were a direct result of people using certain relics?  DPR drinking night 1, we get Al.  I have something I believe was consumed night 2, we get Wombat.  This is supposing Wombat is still innocent (which I have no reason to doubt (unless there's a recruiting element which I haven't seen a sign of) since Al's allignment was the same).  This makes sense to me since there has been information released that these three relics might be town-friendly (I can't confirm since I only know what I got was used).

 

 

As for DPR changing focus a time or two in the game, anyone with 193 posts in four game days is going to look at more than just one angle, especially in a game that has so many angles built into it with the relics and the vessel.  Personally I couldn't justify using that as a scum tell, but maybe that's because I'm inclined to consider all angles myself.  You just don't always get to see it because my play style tends to be reading through and giving one big long post on my ideas.  Spam from me is fairly rare.  Walls of text on the other hand... :D 

 

 

Anox is contradictory.  For example, her explanation of why she voted MCS at the beginning of the day.

You and Nae decided to jump on a bandwagon at the same time, which makes both of you suspect. 

 

However your lack of any real compelling evidence just makes you look that much more scummy. Nae could just be your lacky and that would explain it.

 

I'm talking about your circular logic round you had going to DPR for like four pages of you hinting at things but never voicing anything solid. In fact no one here STILL doesn't know what you are talking about. Which makes you even more suspect.

 

I voted for MCS originally due to him not in danger of being lynched, and he voted for me.  Since then he has unvoted me, then you and Nae jumped on the wagon. 

 

Therefore what appears scummy usually is, especially with such terrible reasons for voting for me to start with. Much like Barm did back 50 pages ago.

The reason why is a big part of it actually. Otherwise I'd be more active than either you or Alys, Nae.

 

So when you decide to bandwagon even if it is only two it doesn't reflect good on you at all.

 

Alys has hit my radar more than most with the trying to confuse, and you are just helping my case against her Nae. Even with DPR's assessment.

 

She purposefully is trying to misdirect us and I can't figure out why, so maybe she can show up and explain herself a bit better.

 

Again, I'll say this one more time, I voted for MCS because he voted for me. He has as little reason as both of you do for voting for me.

Anox, for me you still haven't answered how you knew Alys was "lying".  SHE thought she was telling the truth, so there was no tell in her posts to tip you off.  (You can't really lie about something you lack the truth on anyway because lying implies the intent to deceive.  She was wrong, not lying.)  Pete was the only one (besides Kivam) who should have known that there was something untrue in her post unless Pete posted something on a QT. 

 

The only two things keeping me from changing my vote are first, the fact that I question whether Pete would say on a QT "she's lying" and then come back later to post himself.  Personally I'd expect him to act first and explain to his team later if he were mafia.  Although he's smart enough to think of trying to back up a teammate with a big bomb of news.  Pete's computer difficulties that limited his posting/reading during this time also played into my thinking they may not be a team, though he could have said at some point on day/night three, 'Yay, I stole from her!"  Second, I have a note from day 1 that I didn't think Pete and Anox were on a team because of how he questioned her voting.  I might feel differently now if I thought there were some kind of recruiting element in the game.  I know Pete's a gambitting man, so I'm not leaning too heavily on my day one instincts.  ;)

 

And Kiv, just for my own future reference, do you ignore your own posts when figuring out if someone's managed a thief play?  Meaning if I post and then you post and then my target posts does it count as my target posting after me?

Umm... I'm doing yet another reread, and I just thought I'd share something rather weird I just noticed.  I'm not sure what it means, but each time an innocent neared the lynch point, they were lynched with a relatively large number of votes left to get.  With Al Jenn, it was 3.  With Crusher, it was 7.  However, this was not the case with the Thorum vote; we had to get all 12 votes to lynch.  I'm wondering if the cult has some sort of ability where, if more than one of them is on the same vote, they get additional votes.  If so, we only have two names that come up in both innocent votes: DPR and Barm.  Thoughts?  Corroboration?  Accusations of paranoia and/or insanity?
