I don't have much to go on either - I didn't manage to hit scum last night. I do have some suspicions though, just people who are a little off. Crusher, like Quibs posted, has been awful quiet excepting the Thorum thing. Makes you wonder.

 

Oh, and for the record, I keep meaning to address this but keep forgetting. I didn't ask anyone to plead my case for me, Alys. The fact that anyone took me at my word shows they believed that I wasn't playing games with my reveal. Quite simply, I didn't have a case. How could I have made one up, without making myself appear scummy? I had nothing but a hunch when i targeted Thorum, and only knew him to be scum because I investigated him.

Kivy answered all he was going to, apparently, right after my questions. That one was posted as you were posting a reply to my asking. I’ve gotten nothing off thread.

 

For some reason I thought that was DPR.

 

2) You MAY NOT post any information about a relic on the thread.  That means no claiming to have one, and it means no publication of any information you got via PM from me when you obtained your relics. You can speculate about whether other people have relics, but that's it.

 

The first rule we can side step, the second... I am not sure about. It means we can't post that we have something (so we can't trade) and we can't post any facts about a relic. However we should be able to post that we were stolen from or had relics. I know this is obvious I just wanted to clear it up for the rest of our players.

 

Whoever stole from me knows what they do. Or at least, what the important ones do. The others… your guess is as good as mine.

 

Is this the one DPR stole from me and that you stole from him? Did you find out about what it had held? *Eyes Kivam* Or another relic? If empty or used relics keep information with them it is something to know since it will help disseminating information.

 

I am considering something here… Al, are you thinking what I am thinking? Bah, it’s useless anyway. No one else appears ballsy enough to admit they used or found a used relic despite that this revelation could be EXTREMELY helpful in weeding out where the chaos is coming from.

People are afraid of getting things stolen by mafia. They can't say anything but they can ask for buffer posts. Mafia is a game designed to make everyone suspicious and destroy trust. Yes, posting about having used or having a relic stolen is very important. We can't talk about the details however these I think are within bounds.

To let everyone know. I was resurrected innocent but not the same as I was before. Re-evaluate everyone when they are resurrected. It isn't into a cult or anything... unless it changes later in the game. I again think this has to do with the Relics. I'm not sure exactly what all of this will entail. It isn't a reanimation. Does anyone know more about this theme and what that could entail.

I had a thought about the known-only-to-mafia win condition too.  It goes a little something like this:

Meaning I think they need all the relics for that second win condition.

I told you, Al, people are too busy hiding. You can't steal from the right people if they only seek safety. They don't want you to steal anything, but they don't know what they are doing to us by hiding them away. The thefts MUST happen. The problem is getting the items into the right hands. The people I think need to be stolen from are all too busy hiding.

You are right. The people who know the mythos might want to step out of the shadows here. I never got around to reading these tales, though they were recommended sooooo many times.

 

I will say, there appears to be 2 evil teams. It is possible one started as a single person recruitment operation. Note the last kill scene. Also worthy of note, check these posts.

I kind of put this on the back burner earlier with a short comment, but there are 2 things to note here.

 

1. Quibby is the first to say something about dual mafias.

2. He compares it to the story line.

 

Last night’s kill supports this. This could mean he knows something he’s not sharing.

 

What happens if all these relics are used?  Conceivably, their presence might be what keeps the Vessel from transforming into whatever super-evil creature of evil evilness it is supposed to become.  It may not matter where all the relics end up, but whether they all get used.

Found this while searching back... I have had two that could not be used. One was not able to be used alone, the other already used.

Yes, I do know something.  It pertains to relics, specifically one that was stolen from me.  Because it pertains to a relic, I can't go into detail.  It irritates me that I can't, especially since I believe said relic might be in mafia hands.

 

As for the dual mafia thing, the only one kill thing on night one has me thinking otherwise.

 

However, I do have a new theory about the Vessel and the means for activating it.  Al Jenn suggested that his role changed, post mortem.  Perhaps that is the key to unleashing this Vessel thing on the world?  A certain number of innocents sacrificed to Loathly Lord Cthulhu to draw him (or some sort of representative of his) to the Vessel?  If that's the case, then we're probably in trouble, as any lynches have to be certain.  Otherwise, we might be adding to our problem.

Hmmm?  Im off?  Compared to what exactly?  The reason I was more active earlier is because I still had a handle on the game.  But since the arguments and  a lot of the people who know each other discussions Ive been trying to catch up.  To be honest not the easiest thread to read.  Talk about off?  Ed has posted a handful of times this game and the one time I played with him he posted more in 5 minutes than he had this entire game.  Yet, I dont get a scum vibe from him, I figure he's hiding a relic.  Hard to say.

 

I see ameon gave me a vote and still referring to the first day nonsense when I put a vote on Thorum took it off after the bandwagon started.  I explained earlier the first of the five times that exact thing was brought up it's what I do to see who is jumping and voting for no reason. 

 

Of everyone playing I would say DPR has been the person who seems like he is up to something.  Not sure what it is but his play seems sporadic and a few of the things he said, one of which was called a lie seems not quite right. so [glow=red,2,300]vote dpr[/glow]

So your voting me for one because you didn't like the way I acted during the Thorum lynch yet at the time you agreed he was an easy target.  I explained my reasoning their enough.  Not interested in doing it again.

That’s a stupid and pointless bandwagon that isn’t going to give us any information at this point.

 

As for Thorum he still needs 5 more votes, which isn't to hard to accomplish. And it is hard to stop or derail a wagon once it starts. If the voting gets closer to 13 I'll remove my vote however I am waiting to hear Thorum convince me he is innocent. There isn't a death sentence on him, but there is enough pressure to wait and see what happens.

 

For now I'm retaining my vote on Thorum, not to lynch him but to put pressure on him and to see what he has to say.

 

I will give Thorum the chance to explain himself and see what it brings about.

 

What does Thorum need to explain?

 

Alys – Can you use quotes when on your phone? Because that would clear up whom you are directing your comments at a lot.

 

Quibby is annoying, amusing yes, but his constant conviction of his committing suicide in this game is irritating.

 

Al Jenn is pinging my radar, he’s been weird so far, threatening Alys when she went after Wes because it might seem like she is on a team with Al Jenn… what? People agreeing with each other happens all the time in mafia. And his wanting Thorum to explain himself, when there is blatantly nothing to explain, plus his weird responses to Wes.

 

Wes is bothering me too, with his constant posting and seeming attempts to set things up.

 

Alanna and MCS need to actually start posting content, MCS has not actually posted a useful word yet this game. Alanna has made maybe one good post, and that’s it.

 

Anox is the person who I am concerned about the most though. She posted for Pandy because he was scummy, and then when questioned on it backtracked to say that she actually voted him because she had nothing better to do, and then has come back to jump on the Thorum bandwagon with exactly as much reasoning as she had for her Pandy vote.

I'm not talking about your Day 1 actions, I'm referring to your day 2 actions. Every single post you made in Day 2 (I'm pretty sure I didn't miss any) is about Thorum. While the posts aren't overly suspicious in themselves, you're a bit too focused on him.

 

And the hooked-on-phonics post read to me simply as a clever way of saying "I'm confused". And claiming confusion is a scumtell.

 

Quibby I'm absolutely baffled how much thought you put into my day 1 vote.  I voted Thorum to add steam to his bandwagon to see who would jump on.  That is why I kept asking people who followed me why they where voting.  I sat their and watched one senseless vote after another and Im shocked people are still trying to lynch him today. 

 

I did take time to re-read but the4-5 pages of bickering offered me nothing more than a headache.

 

So I will catch up on the stuff posted this weekend, weekends are hard for Crusher because of my 5 crusherettes. (children)

 

 

Can you come up with any half conceivable reason to go back to a dropped bandwagon, dropped because it had no real strength or basis? I couldn't. Certainly not my most subtle move, I'll give you that, but I'm actually out to SAVE the town and LYNCH the bad guys. What good would it do the town if no one believed me, and I was lynched as a result. (Note, Nae, your exact reaction.) Call me lazy, but it's done. Lynch Thorum!

I had no one really pinging my radar, so I decided to see if the bunch of votes that were against Thorum for being vaguely scummy had any basis, for lack of a better target that wouldn't be totally random. And bingo, I have a winner.

 

 

 

Thats not a terrible answer.  Make sense to check the person with the most votes rather somebody totally random.  So the question is whether or not we believe your a finder.  Obviously this is the point in the game where a real finder wouldn't want to come forward.  So your either fishing and killing an innocent or your actually a finder.  Not a great scum play because if Thorum is lynched innocent you would surely follow him the next day.  No? 

Why would mafia sacrifice one for one? 

If no one counter claims it's the best we have.

I asked about thorum over and over again because just like you I had no idea why people where voting him.  Never did get an answer until Lavinya early reveal and that stunk to high heavens to me until Thorum turned up guilty.  I was surprised.

 

So I seem worse than DPR who lied about the relic and then also in my opinion lied about using the relic.  If anyone else had one and had it stolen from them, like I did, they know that thats not true.  At least thats what I got from reading the one I had taken from me.

 

I never said I was cofused I said I struggled with the comprehension of the thread.  Mostly because of DPR's excessive spam and all the insight jokes and innuendo.  It make it hard to comprehend the thread when alot of the stuff written makes no sense. but believe this my friend, I am far from confused.  DPR is scum and I feel really good about it.  Let's kill DPR and let Lav investigate me tonight.
